Number 6 is particularly very interesting.

The summer transfer window of 2016 is fast drawing to a close and a significant number of Premier League clubs are going to be busy until the final minutes of business, finalising the moves that could help make or break their seasons.

Looking beyond the obvious done deals and imminent confirmations, here's a look at 12 transfers involving Premier League clubs that could yet go through before Wednesday night's all-important deadline.
Foreign Affairs / US Election 2016: Donald Trump To Visit Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto by ovyekuju(m): 11:55am On Aug 31, 2016
US Republican candidate Donald Trump is to visit Mexico on Wednesday, hours before he details measures against illegal immigration in a speech.

Mr Trump tweeted that he was looking forward to meeting President Enrique Pena Nieto, who has invited both him and Democrat Hillary Clinton.

Mr Pena Nieto said dialogue would help "protect Mexicans wherever they are".

Mr Trump has condemned Mexican migrants during his campaign and vowed to build a wall between the two countries.

He will visit Mexico in between a fundraising event in California and his immigration speech in Phoenix, Arizona, on Wednesday night.

The Republican has seen his poll ratings slip since the party conventions last month.

Both nationally and in key states, he trails Mrs Clinton, who enjoys particularly strong support among minorities.

The Mexican president said he had invited both candidates for talks and would meet Trump in private on Wednesday.

Romance / See How Women See Cheating Differently Than Men by ovyekuju(m): 11:27am On Aug 31, 2016
Read this insightful article.

If your partner were to "emotionally" cheat on you — that is, have feelings for someone else, but not necessarily do anything physical — how would you react? A study suggests that your gender could play a role in how you respond.

The study, published in the journal Archives of Sexual Behaviour, looked at why people of different genders and sexual orientations became jealous in their relationships. To do so, the researchers surveyed nearly 64,000 people through (what used to be) msnbc.com about their past and present relationships. Participants were also asked whether it would be more distressing to have a partner cheat on them physically (having sex with someone else without falling in love) or emotionally (falling in love with someone else without having sex).

The results turned up a few interesting patterns: First, for heterosexuals, women were more likely to be upset by emotional infidelity than physical infidelity. Heterosexual men were more than twice as likely to be upset by physical infidelity than women were. That pattern, however, disappeared for non-heterosexual participants — people who identified as gay, lesbian, or bisexual appeared to be equally as upset by sexual and emotional cheating.

The researchers suggest that the gender difference in heterosexual couples could be influenced by evolutionary factors. Historically, the study authors posit, men may have avoided investing in offspring that wasn't biologically related to them. However, there are plenty of cultural influences at work here (for example, men and women alike are socialised to believe that men care about sex a whole lot) and these assumptions play right into our gendered stereotypes.

Although previous studies have revealed that cheaters may have many reasons for doing what they do, they are also pretty likely to cheat again. While there are certainly ways to keep a relationship together after infidelity (emotional or physical), this new research suggests it's pretty deeply ingrained in us to be upset about it, too.

Sports / Chelsea Offer Fabregas In Exchange For Inter Milan Star by ovyekuju(m): 12:08pm On Aug 30, 2016
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is ready to offer ousted midfielder Cesc Fabregas as part of a deal to land Inter Milan star Marcelo Brozovic, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Spanish star has been on the sidelines of the action so far this season as the Blues have won their first three Premier League games under the former Juventus trainer.

N’Golo Kante’s industry has been preferred to Fabregas’ guile by Conte, with the former Barcelona playmaker’s future at Stamford Bridge now seemingly under threat.

Brozovic has been linked with a move to the Premier League over recent transfer windows and it could well be time for the Croatia international to end up in England.

Inter have signed Ever Banega, Joao Mario and Antonio Candreva this summer and as such the former Dinamo Zagreb star could well be on the sidelines for Frank de Boer’s side.

The report suggests that Fabregas could well find a new home in Milan if the deal goes through, with Brozovic’s more direct approach in Conte’s gaze.

Business / BREAKING: EU Orders Apple To Pay About 13bn Pounds Unpaid Irish Taxes by ovyekuju(m): 11:59am On Aug 30, 2016
The European Commission hasruled that Ireland should recover up to €13bn (£11bn) from Apple in back taxes.

After a three-year long investigation, it has concluded that the US firm's tax benefits are illegal.

The Commission said this enabled it to pay substantially less than other businesses, in effect paying a corporate tax rate of no more than 1%.

Ireland's finance minister, Michael Noonan, said that he disagreed "profoundly" with the decision.

"Member states cannot give tax benefits to selected companies - this is illegal under EU state aid rules," said Commissioner Margrethe Vestager.

"The Commission's investigation concluded that Ireland granted illegal tax benefits to Apple, which enabled it to pay substantially less tax than other businesses over many years," she added.

Ireland however is set to appeal against the decision.

"I disagree profoundly with the Commission," Mr Noonan said in a statement.

"The decision leaves me with no choice but to seek cabinet approval to appeal. This is necessary to defend the integrity of our tax system; to provide tax certainty to business; and to challenge the encroachment of EU state aid rules into the sovereign member state competence of taxation."

Foreign Affairs / Donald Trump To Speak In Black-majority Church by ovyekuju(m): 11:29am On Aug 30, 2016
The Republican presidential candidate and Christian Donald Trump plans to speak at a predominantly black church in an attempt to engage more non-white voters.

At present Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton has a much larger amount of support from black and hispanic voters in comparison to Mr Trump, who is yet to visit a black-majority area since his presidential campaign began.

Mr Trump will speak at Great Faith Ministries in Detroit on Saturday and will stand alongside the president of an African-American-owned national Christian television network.

He will also be interviewed by a bishop there.

Previously when the Republican candidate tried to engage non-white voters he was criticised

Foreign Affairs / Kim Jong-un Butchers Two Government Officials In Public by ovyekuju(m): 11:01am On Aug 30, 2016
The public killings were carried out as a show of force by the young leader, who took the reigns from his father Kim Jong Il in 2011.

They are the latest in a string of slaughters carried out at the bequest of the 32-year-old tyrant and the victims are said to be agriculture minister Hwang Min and Ri Yong Jin, a senior official at the education ministry.

It was reported by South Korea’s JoongAng Ilbo daily newspaper.

The information could not be independently verified and South Korea's Unification Ministry, which handles North Korea-related matters, did not comment.

The reported public executions come in the wake of Pyongyang's

Crime / French Teacher Pictured In Bed After Prom Night Sex With Pupil, Insists 'i'm The by ovyekuju(m): 10:38am On Aug 30, 2016
A picture has emerged that purportedly shows a French teacher in bed after having sex with one of her teenage pupils on his prom night.

Isabelle Graham, 27, a practicing Christian, denies the allegations and insists her drinks must have been spiked, telling a disciplinary hearing: “I’m the victim”.

The photograph shows a blonde woman in bed while a young man, believed to be the pupil named in the charges against her, stands in the hotel doorway, the Daily Record reports.

Graham, who says she was saving herself for marriage, has already quit her job at Whitburn Academy in West Lothian following the allegations she slept with the boy at a Travelodge in Edinburgh.

She faces being banned from teaching if a disciplinary hearing against her finds the allegations proven and deems her unfit to continue in the profession.

Graham insists she has no memory of the events of that night, the General Teaching Council for Scotland hearing in Edinburgh was told.

She has been backed by her husband Andrew Wilkie, who is training for the clergy. He says he is certain she is telling the truth.

But a policeman called to give evidence yesterday said CCTV from the night showed no evidence of her drink having been spiked.

DS Keith Mailer also said there was no evidence of it when she was tested at a hospital.

He said: “Throughout the footage there’s no sign Ms Graham is under the excessive influence of drugs or alcohol.”

He also said the footage showed the teacher and student kissing.

He added: “The way she moved and conducted herself suggested someone who was making conscious decisions.”

Police raised charges against Graham but the procurator fiscal did not pursue them, citing a lack of evidence.

Wilkie represented his wife – who he married last summer – at a procedural GTCS hearing last month.

At that hearing, the couple tried unsuccessfully to have the case against Graham heard in private.

Graham did not attend the hearing yesterday and had no representation there.

The teacher, who now lives in England, turned down the opportunity to take part via video link.

Graham is alleged to have spent three hours alone with the teenager, drinking with him, sharing a bed with him and “repeatedly engaging in sexual activity”.

The GTCS charge goes on: “And in light of the above, it is alleged that your fitness to teach is impaired.”

It is claimed the encounter happened after the pair left the upmarket Carlton Highland hotel in central Edinburgh where the prom took place in June 2014 and went to a nearby Travelodge.

The hearing was shown the photo of the room and was told it was taken by another pupil who was sharing a room with Pupil A

That boy said he returned numerous times to the room to find Graham in the bed.

Council employee Fraser Thomson, who investigated the case, said their inquiry began after senior teaching staff found out the photo from the hotel room had been uploaded on social media.

He added evidence from students outlined how they saw “Pupil A and Ms Graham lying on the bed, one on top of the covers and one underneath”.

The official said Graham told him the four glasses of wine she had drunk would not normally
intoxicate her to that level.

She said of the photograph: “It looks like...

Fashion / Bra Company Boss Forces Male Employees To Experience E-cup B00bs by ovyekuju(m): 10:29pm On Aug 28, 2016
A bra company boss has forced his male employees to experience what it is like to have E-cup b00bs - by hanging weights around the men's necks.

PrimaDonna CEO Ignace Van Doorselaere, based in Belgium, believes that the men in his employment can't design and manufacture the best lingerie if they don't know what it is like to have bre@sts.

To solve this problem, Ignace decided that each male would be give a pair of weights, that would hang around their necks and simulate the experience of having big b00bs.

That way, they would understand how important it is to create bras that are functional, supportive and comfortable.

The average E-cup weighs around 2.2-3.5lbs per breast.

Ignace said: "As a man, how can you know what it is like to have a bigger cup size?

Agriculture / Your Urine Might Not Be Entirely Useless Afterall, See Why by ovyekuju(m): 7:59pm On Aug 28, 2016
Convinced about its medicinal values, Indian scientists had taken a patent on cow urine in 2002. Now, researchers at the International Centre for Ecological Engineering of Kalyani University near Kolkata report that human urine can be used as safe fertiliser "after eight months of storage under closed conditions."

Urine contains the essential plant nutrients -- nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium -- besides some growth-promoting agents like amino acids, glucose and vitamins, says the report by Bara Bihari Jana and his colleagues published in the Indian Journal of Experimental Biology.

On an average, each person excretes almost six kilos of pure plant nutrients via urine, says the report. "The amount of human urine generated daily in a highly-populated country like India can be an important resource if it is managed properly as liquid fertiliser."

Jana's team had been working for over a decade on the project to test human urine as a replacement for chemical fertiliser. "Earlier we have examined the fertiliser value of human urine for the production of fish food," he told IANS.

In recent years, human urine as liquid fertiliser is getting attention in Europe and in some Scandinavian countries in view of the promotion of organic farming, says the report.

The possible presence of disease-causing pathogens in urine had raised some questions. Though storage has been advocated by others for inactivation of bacteria in urine, there has been no study so far to examine this aspect under tropical conditions.

Jana says his latest study aimed at examining the pattern of changes in the counts of coliform bacteria as well as physico-chemical characteristics of human urine during different days of storage under closed conditions in order to identify the optimal storage period of human urine for use as safe fertiliser. The urine for the study was collected from students in the university.

According to the report, the study found that human urine during the storage period "undergoes microbiological and associated chemical changes and becomes highly alkaline", resulting in death of pathogenic bacteria.

"We observed that after 253 days of storage under closed condition, the coliform counts were reduced significantly and remained within the safe limit," the report said.

According to the author, human urine is cheaper and more environment-friendly because hazardous chemical compounds or heavy metals such as cadmium are generally absent or low in human urine compared to commercially available fertiliser.

An added advantage is that its use would reduce eutrophication -- the process where fertiliser washed off the land cause damaging blooms of plankton in rivers and lakes.

"With the results of the present study, it may be concluded that human urine can be used as low-risk fertiliser after its storage for 253 days under prescribed conditions," the report said. "Further research and extension activities of this work is necessary," Jana added. "This can be done through NGOs, self-help groups, etc."

But is the scheme workable?

Jana believes so. "Human urine may be collected daily in community toilets at airports, railway stations, market places, schools, colleges, etc., and stored in containers labelled with the date of collection," he says.

"The government's current campaign against open defecation and its plans to provide toilets in each village provides the opportunity to implement the concept by making provision in the toilets for collection of urine and faeces in separate chambers."

Would it be practical to truck large volumes of urine around for use in agricultural fields across the country? The answer is "yes", according to the report.

"About 80 per cent of the nutrients contained in human urine can be concentrated in 25 per cent of the original volume by freezing (the urine) which would facilitate transport and storage."
