dannydolly: My application was refused today. Reasons; purpose of visit, limited employment prospects in your country of residence, your current employment situation and your personal assets and financial situation.

Pls house is there anything that can be changed or included to re-apply. I submitted admission letter (going for nursing as a second degree), sponsors documents (business reg docs) and statement of account 6m plus, appointment letter, personal statement of account (1.9m), first degree cert and transcript, O'level cert, marriage cert and kids' birth cert, pension cert and statement (700k+), and taxi cab docs in my name.
Please help a brother good people of the house.

All your questions have to do with choice despite they all have advantages and disadvantages. Firstly I personally will recommend the online platform for tuition fee payment because mine was successful with a master card, it is equally faster when it comes to getting a receipt in case you want to apply for visa instantly with it. The merchants/school will also have to support this form of payment to be successful. As for the home stay it is cheaper than renting your own crib but it still depends on your kind of person in terms of privacy and stuff like that.

I am planning to apply with 3m in my sponsors acct. 2m in my acct which I'm gonna use for tuition. I plan to print d statement b4 paying though so I cud show dat as well. I don't know if it makes sense.

That's not good enough! Your sponsors account needs to have a history of good and steady transactions with a minimum of 5 million, even if you have paid your tuition or not, make sure you don't just credit the account with a large sum of money without a good history. Your personal account is a secondary issue, while your sponsors account is the primary and sole issue so be careful when making your decisions.

kesseva: Hi everyone am new here due ve been reading lots of post for some time nw, my experience with the Canadian embassy has been a though one, submitted my application Oct 22 did medical Jan 22 and was delayed until 3 July because my medical file had another number from the one at the embassy after so much delay my agent had to go to the clinic to rectify this mix up, guys you won't believe my medical that has been causing delay has been lying in the embassy because they didn't know the owner, well this issue was solved in June and now my processed passport has been picked up by my agent today 7th of July can't wait to hear the news, I hope it's good cos 9 months wait nor be child's play

Paid my tuition fee on the 30th of may with my Gtb naira master card (ATM card) I equally used it for my school application as well as my visa application, so basically it is secure and efficient. Transfer rate is also good.

vinnygod: @ all the gurus in da huz....for those of you who had paid their tuition fee and accomodation fee from naija to their respective canadian school pls your opinion is needed.how did you carry out the transaction, was it via current acct or via domicillary acct. Was in the first bank this morning for bank(naija) to bank(canny) transfer via my current acct but was told this method isn't realistic accept via dom acct.though was told by school I can pay in local currency while the deduction will be made in canadian dollar.

Let her chill for a while! Some people get updated one week interval. She did her biometrics 30th of June which means it is not up to a week.

Are you sure the account does not have issues? I'll advice you to try another Gtb card...cos this your issue is really funny, I did all my applications ( School application, visa application and tuition fees) with my Gtb card. All successful with no issue.

Chris viral! Which hospital did you use and how credible and reliable are they? Secondly I advice you try another hospital preferably in Lagos. Shit happens, the person in charge of your case in the hospital is nonchalant and has missed something along the line when forwarding your med detail to the embassy. So if you insist they re send it and they don't comply consider having another medicals done in a different and reliable hospital. The Devil comes in different ways and patterns.....he no go succeed Add prayer join in what ever you believe in too. Trust me success must be yours.

I understand both of you've point but the thing is there is a column on our personal immigration form that ask if you have been refused any type of visa before and the options are YES or NO! If you have been refused before and choose NO means you have lied...that is justwise point. Despite the fact that people have still chosen to keep it undercover and still get visa's.
