Do UK schools accept NECO result?

For undergraduate admission or masters? You may check your choice university's website if they have country specific requirements.

I applied for masters with my NECO result and Bsc. certificate and was given admission.

Make sure you have your SOP written properly, then also get a letter from your school stating that you were taught in English. That should do for you!

But you still cant say categorically that IELTS. Is not required by UK Universities.
Because a lot of universities may not require IELTS, a lot of others do require it.

you are very correct @LaaJiblik. I applied to a uni (Glyndŵr University), they sent me a 'conditional offer' last week, requesting for IELTS result before the offer can be changed to 'unconditional'. I have rejected their offer though as I've now realized they are low ranked(128 out of 130 top Universities in UK).

Whoever needs to apply should first check the course's entry requirements or send email to the Uni for any clarification.

I don't think you should look towards Aus unless you have a strong 2.1 and 1st (for scholarships), like you said, it is expensive. Even though there are scholarship opportunities after your first semester, having the down payment to get into the school, in the first place, might just be difficult to get. If you are looking towards a PhD, NZ will be gold, don't try it for a master's, its as expensive as Aus.

Tendency of getting Certificate of Sponsorship(C.O.S) is 10% because not all companies have the right to sponsor an employee.
Coming to UK & after completing your course,you are expected to return back home.
Few university in UK offers 2yrs visa for M Sc which i suggest you applying to because 1Year student visa runs out quickly.
I will advise you to gather more dough and focus on Australia university because you have 2yrs visa + post study and 70% chance of getting a Permanent Residence.
I got friends who migrated from UK to there.
UK students visa is just for you to come in,study & go home with your certificate

Thanks Phenmeson. I totally agree with you. However, among English speaking countries, tuition seems to be highest in Australia. Also it is a very far and lonely island (my opinion).

First, let me say this is a personal opinion and I will attempt to answer only No 1.

Any Uk degree certificate will give a superior recruitment advantage over other applicants anywhere in the world.
Both are management courses; while MBA teaches more about leading and managing people, Logistics and SCM teaches more on operations and transportation.
while i might be tempted to go for Logistics and Supply chain Management because it sounds specialized and employers might fall for it, an MBA can also work in the same field.
For job prospect, i would go for Logistics and SCM, if I want to start my own company that is not transport related, I would opt for MBA.
However, If my plan involves scouting for job in the UK, i will first check the timetable for the academic year and see which one of the two gives room to search for job and work during the day without interruption ( please never dream of working regularly at night, it's a bad thing, avoid it if you can).

Finally, let me say this "Life and success depends on many factors: being in the right place at the right time, luck, hard-work, focus, (maybe what you studied), ...and also what do you really want?"

Hello Everyone, i do not wish to derail this thread. Certainly, leaving the country and having an international degree gives a competitive edge. However, i do notice there are lots of people like me on this thread, not born with a silver spoon, trying to succeed no matter the challenges . And since UK does not allow one to remain after studies unless you get a job offer from a reputable company.

Questions:
1. how easy is it to get a company to sponsor one after studies?
2. if there is no sponsor, what next?
3. then is it worth it for silver spoon-less people like me to gather so much money and then drop it in one country that does not want me around for so long...

your candid (and if possible brutish) comments are welcomed.

To the best of my knowledge, if you are studying courses whose medium of instruction is not English, then yes, tuition is free. If not, then you will have to pay.

But you can check Norway (tuition free) , Germany and Austria (about €350 per semester).

Anyone here already in Espoo who can help with accommodation because the one month private rental I arranged was cancelled as I was asked to pay six month rent as he could no longer rent for just a month. I am already in Finland, Espoo city and I am not finding it funny.

I had a similar challenge. my accommodation was cancelled because I couldn't pay on time. and I was delaying payment because my application wasn't yet concluded. but once I got a positive decision, i immediately informed my tutor student about my accommodation challenge and within six hours, I was given another accommodation. Am now in Kuopio.

But you can apply regardless. You would indicate when you want to move in, and there is no financial implication. Waiting till after you get Rp might be too late and you might not get a place. And not securing a student apartment would be a disaster. Private apartments are expensive. So you're advised to apply now.

Hi, there should be a student housing body in that city. I am sure the school included info about housing when you were granted admission. For example you can check moas.fi for Mikkeli. Its easier if you can get an apartment as a student, then you can get someone already here to share with. I only know much about Otaniemi campus and not the other campuses.

Dear nairalanders, just to inform you that although the typing test is important, but even if you have 96% and 20wpm in the typing section but failed in other two sections of the CBT, you might still end up getting regret mail. whoever had 20wpm obviously performed very well in other sections.
