WhiteIverson:
Mama was talking to those on or under the poverty line

Indirectly, this means the advice is for APC supporters. Finally the government is admitting that those who supported and voted for them are living in perpetual poverty. APC Nairaland branch, please confirm this statement for us.

Aunty Remi shared expensive cars for the women leaders and she has advised the APC female and male supporters to tell their wives, mothers, sisters, aunties to go fry akara and sell puff puff and kuli kuli tongue

Some arguement should be done ..this picture are just aerial views of Onitsha and Nnewi and they aren't the capital cities ...the capital city is Awka and I don't even want to go there ...

It will take Oshogbo 100 yrs to get to this level and mind you individuals built this ....

When comparing Anambra State and Osun State in terms of economic strength, human capital, private investment, and urban development, Anambra generally stands out because of its strong culture of entrepreneurship and indigenous wealth creation. Unlike many states where economic activity is driven mainly by government spending, Anambra's economy is largely powered by private businesses, trade, manufacturing, and investments made by its own people both at home and in the diaspora.

One of the clearest examples is the city of Onitsha, which is widely regarded as one of the largest commercial centers in West Africa. The city's massive trading networks connect suppliers and buyers across Nigeria and neighboring countries, making it a major hub for commerce and distribution. The economic influence of Onitsha extends far beyond Anambra, supporting thousands of businesses involved in transportation, logistics, warehousing, finance, and retail trade.

Another major advantage for Anambra is Nnewi, often referred to as the "industrial capital" of southeastern Nigeria. Nnewi is home to some of Nigeria's most successful indigenous manufacturers and industrialists. The town developed a remarkable culture of entrepreneurship that transformed it from a relatively small town into one of the country's most important manufacturing centers. This concentration of indigenous capital and enterprise is rare in Nigeria and has played a significant role in Anambra's economic growth.

The state's economic performance reflects this private-sector strength. According to Anambra State's economic planning documents, the state's Gross Domestic Product was estimated at about ₦4.71 trillion in 2020, placing it among the stronger state economies in Nigeria. Much of this output comes from trade, manufacturing, telecommunications, construction, and transportation rather than dependence on federal allocations.

Anambra has also produced some of Nigeria's most successful indigenous investors. One notable example is Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma, who established Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing, Nigeria's first indigenous automobile manufacturing company. His investments span vehicle assembly, motorcycle production, plastics, and other industrial activities, creating thousands of jobs directly and indirectly. Another prominent businessman is Cosmas Maduka, whose Coscharis Group grew into one of Nigeria's largest automobile and industrial conglomerates. Similarly, Cletus Ibeto built the Ibeto Group into a major player in cement, petrochemicals, manufacturing, hospitality, and logistics. Chika Okafor also established significant investments in pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and industrial production.

The concentration of successful entrepreneurs in Anambra is one reason why the state is often regarded as one of Nigeria's strongest centers of indigenous wealth creation. Unlike economies dominated by multinational corporations or government institutions, much of Anambra's wealth is owned and controlled by local entrepreneurs who reinvest in their communities.

Diaspora investment further strengthens the state's economy. Large numbers of Anambra indigenes live and work in countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, South Africa, and China. Their remittances have contributed significantly to the development of residential estates, schools, hospitals, hotels, and community infrastructure across the state. Although precise state-by-state remittance figures are not officially available, the visible impact of diaspora investment is evident throughout many communities in Anambra.

In terms of human capital, Anambra has long enjoyed a reputation for educational achievement and professional excellence. The state has consistently produced large numbers of doctors, engineers, lawyers, academics, and business professionals. Strong family investment in education, a vibrant private-school sector, and a culture that values academic success have contributed to these outcomes. This emphasis on education has helped create the skilled workforce that supports the state's commercial and industrial sectors.

Urban development is another area where Anambra has an advantage. The state is one of the most urbanized in Nigeria, with major urban centers such as Onitsha, Nnewi, and Awka serving as important economic and administrative hubs. These cities have benefited from long-term planning initiatives, infrastructure development, and sustained private investment, helping to create a more dynamic urban economy.

Taken together, the combination of large-scale commerce in Onitsha, industrial manufacturing in Nnewi, strong diaspora engagement, substantial indigenous investment, and a highly entrepreneurial population gives Anambra a significant edge in economic activity, urbanization, and wealth creation. While Osun State has made important progress in areas such as education, governance, and revenue generation, Anambra's unique concentration of private capital, industrial activity, and business leadership has enabled it to achieve a higher level of economic dynamism and broader private-sector development.

Nonsense, how many non indigenous people can APC bring into Ekiti and how many thousand people can APC give 20k? Multiply 20k by 200 thousand people ( That's 4billion Naira) Plus the cost of transporting the people from other states ( That's another 4Billion Naira)
Na craze dey worry this guy.
