PoliticsRe: Southerners Need To Come Together. by Oxalic(m): 2:31pm On Jan 16, 2018
I think it is not a difficult thing for Igbos and Yorubas to ignore these Northern elements seeking to cause friction between the two.

There is every need.
PoliticsRe: Fulani Herdsmen Planning Coup In Nigeria - MAFO by Oxalic(m): 12:34pm On Jan 16, 2018
Fact. While the terrorists have been committing atrocities across the country for many years unabated, the Anti-Open Grazing Legislation of recent is being blamed for killings. What a bare faced conspiracy!
PoliticsRe: Nigerians Pushing Towards War Unknowingly, Says Aregbesola by Oxalic(m): 12:03pm On Jan 16, 2018
Here comes another willing stooge in the hands of Fulani. Always ready to compromise and betray others. Quite unfortunate.

How is it difficult to say: Fulani herdsmen pushing the country to war?

PoliticsRe: Killings: Buhari Tells Benue Leaders To Restrain Their People by Oxalic(m):
ogbeniolola:
Politicians are the ones instigating crises in benue!....Ortom is desperate for second term bid, yet he has failed in his first term mandate. There is no road infrastructure to showcase in his first three years; he's still owing workers'salaries despite all the bailout funds; benue does not have functional transport system, it's okada & keke napep everywhere you go; recent WAEC results have shown benue as one of the worst performing, ortom is owing teachers; the state is poor in IGR generation, thank God for federal allocation; benue under ortom has done little for farmers in the state!.....Thanks to Audu Ogbeh who has helped the fortunes of yam farmers in the state!

Other than the anti-grazing non-sense, ortom should come out and state his contributions to benue farmers. Ortom started getting jittery the moment Audu Ogbeh began promoting yam export in benue. Thus in order to be seen to be working for farmers in the state, the state govt had to create an artificial conflict using anti-grazing laws and make herdsmen the fall guy.

Knowing that election is approaching, ortom had to introduce some divisive anti-grazing law to instigate crises between farmers and herdsmen who have coexisted for years o pretending to be contributing to the lot of the farmers! Some people were later armed to unleash terror on innocent people in their farmlands, and the non-performing govt was quick to rush to say it was herdsmen thus putting the whole state in mourning mood just so that the state govt could attract public sympathy and to distract benue people from asking questions on ortom's performance in this first term.

To tell you that the benue attack was premeditated and that ortom is being economical with the truth, listen to VP Osinbajo vehemently disputing that his office was forewarned about the attack by the benue govt; and anyone that knows the VP will know that Ortom has misfired this time and his lies have been taken too far and he should be investigated. As it stands, only the benue govt knew the attack would happen.

Ortom knows the killers of benue people!...Ask him!
First of all, the VP admitted the Gov informed him about the threats. However, he said the Gov did not mention the specific areas of target. Read the statement from VP's office again. With your half education, you may not be able to comprehend.

Secondly, you are completely daft. In fact, you are one of those terrorist goons but hiding under a Yoruba handle. Accusing the Gov of being responsible for the killings is tantamount to standing logic on its head. Therefore, you are extremely stupid.

Thirdly, you are talking about inability of the Gov to pay salaries and build infrastructure. You should know that, in all these, he did not massacre his people. The people were living and struggling until your terrorist brothers came and massacred them.

Lastly, if you were not one of these beasts from the deserts, you would not be so desperate to blame the Gov for the massacres. Obviously, you are trying your best with your quota system education to absolve your fellow demons of the heinous crime of genocide. However, you have failed just like the others before you.

Now, answer these questions: Who has given your fellow demons the temerity, the audacity, the effrontery and the right to trespass peoples' properties? Who is even forcing them to leave the deserts and invade other States? Demons are known to be desert dwellers. Now, carry your stupidity out of Benue issue. My apology for the insults. I just couldn't hold back. Thanks.
PoliticsRe: Benue Leaders To Buhari - No Land For Cattle Colonies In Our State by Oxalic(m):
Under normal circumstances, the issue of cattle colony shouldn't have come up in today's meeting. Buhari and Audu Ogbe are heartless. Upon all the recent genocide in Benue, they still have the guts to talk about cattle.

You were under threat... U knew it would happen.. U informed the VP... No response... U informed Mr president... No response... U informed NIA, DSS, IGP... still no response and the best action u could take was to disarm ur peoplehuhhuh?? Thunder fire you and ur unborn generation... U are 100% responsible for the death of those innocent people... God will punish you accordingly
Bros. The situation is very delicate. If you only will calm down I will explain. There is more to this issue than meets the eye. Please, understand that whenever the communities make efforts to defend themselves, the military will swiftly descend on them and either arrest them or disarm them completely leaving them defenceless and helpless. Once again, the situation is not that easy. If you desire to know the truth, take some time and read some of my posts. This is more than herdsmen issue.

malton:
Lol. He's worse than that.

Yes, we do. Several youth platforms even.

There's the Plateau Youth Council, the Plateau Youths G17 Peace and Progressives Forum (which proposed a bill seeking the ban of open grazing), among others.

Also, the governor got criticized in various quarters in the state over his senseless remarks. That forced the idio.t to apologize.
Hahaha. So he falls well below the ignoble rank of a goon. That's true.

Anyway, see how you can get in touch with the leaders of the various platforms to push forward the agenda. I'm sure at least one must subscribe to the idea.

I have no doubt in my mind that cows added to the numbers that voted in this APC government; cos i'm still bemused by the unnecessary attention given to this livestock by this government! undecided
It's a cleverly devised means for achieving hidden goals. Call it indirect colonization.

PoliticsRe: Will you allow your governor locate Fulani cattle colony in your village by Oxalic(m): 4:29am On Jan 15, 2018
Sirjamo:
Igbos are all over people's lands selling expired goods, why can't Fulani too? just asking nio
Except you are being sarcastic. They don't trespass on peoples' properties, destroying same, and killing people in the process. Igbos go about their businesses peacefully without brandishing AK riffles. And Igbos have no hidden agenda to 'colonize' their hosts. And Igbo businesses can't bring about environmental degradation like desertification. They don't produce cow dung polluting the whole environment. I think I have tried.
PoliticsRe: Will you allow your governor locate Fulani cattle colony in your village by Oxalic(m): 4:12am On Jan 15, 2018
From cattle colony, there will be colonization. The target. Call it indirect approach.

I want to believe this is some sort of joke, what exactly is going on in this country?
The people that own Nigeria are stating their demands for the welfare of their cattle. Not a funny joke at all. Pure madness.
PoliticsRe: Miyetti Allah Calls For Establishment Of Min Of Livestock As Condition For Peace by Oxalic(m): 3:52am On Jan 15, 2018
These people are being deliberately stupid. You sell your cows and pocket the income, then begin to ask government to help you feed your cows, give them water, give them shelter, provide medical care, etc. This is an insult to citizens. Do you know how people are living in this country? The welfare of cows supersedes that of humans. Is this your thinking? Do you know that others are managing their businesses without government assistance? Since when did cattle business become so special as to need federal assistance? This public display of arrogance should cease immediately.
PoliticsRe: President Buhari, Saraki And Dogara In Closed Door Meeting At Aso Rock by Oxalic(m): 3:35am On Jan 15, 2018
Buhari is guilty of deliberate ineptitude therefore, he is responsible for all the killings. All of a sudden, he remembers to brief the NASS leadership on the security situation in the country. Na today e start? Instead of going to meet Buhari, the NASS leaders should be working on impeachment.
PoliticsRe: I Didn’t Call For More Bloodbath In Benue --MACBA Vice President by Oxalic(m): 3:26am On Jan 15, 2018
When you say your association MACBAN is non violent, it is annoying. But nobody is going to give you land for grazing. And when you say Fulanis in Benue can't trace their root, is equally annoying. Where did they come from in the first place? That is their root. They should go back.

True talk, bro.

We shall overcome.

Our people need to be made to see things differently.
Your Governor is a goon. Do you have something like a youth forum in Plateau State? This is our first line of target. Here, we have Benue Youth Forum, and the Youth Leader is vibrant.
PoliticsRe: Bakare: Buhari Did Nothing About Benue Genocide Though Warned 18 Months Earlier by Oxalic(m): 6:51pm On Jan 14, 2018
This is the real issue here. He has to be held accountable. In fact, Buhari, IGP, DG-SSS and Interior Minister are guilty of complicity, and will be held responsible one day.
PoliticsRe: Benue Killings: ACF Sets Up Committee On Anti-grazing Law by Oxalic(m): 4:27pm On Jan 14, 2018
malton:
It's a very unfortunate situation, bro.

Regrettably, there's very little we can do about this current crop of leaders. They grew up in an era where the "one north" tag was "cool." In truth, they all benefitted from it. So, it'd be hard to convince them otherwise at this moment.

For the future, however, there's a lot that can be done. First, we will need to create an agenda, then sell it to the people. Current happenings make achieving this a bit easier easy.

The challenge I see though, is, while suffering unites us, politics divides us.

We will need a majority to make this a political movement.
Yes. A political movement in this regard is needed with utmost urgency. I'm glad you have seen it exactly the way I do. Current happenings makes achieving this dream a bit easier. The two of us can start a movement for this purpose online and subsequently launch it offline. Let us write our names in the history of MB.
