Let the demons in Aso Rock continue to be audaciously mendacious. |
onile0500:Alright. Thank you so much. |
The following persons are responsible and shall be held accountable for the blood of those innocent men, women and children: 1. President Buhari. 2. The IGP Idris Kpotun. 3. The DG-SSS Lawal Daura. 4. The Interior Minister Abdulrahman Danbazzau. For they were petitioned twice by the Benue State Governor, following threats by the herdsmen to attack Benue. Yet, they did not act on the petitions. Let the whole world know they are guilty of complicity. |
ogene007:My dear. Nigerians made a terrible mistake in 2015. Buhari is wicked. Keeping people in detention despite court rulings on the contrary. Check out heads of security agencies in our country today. There is hidden but obvious agenda. Again, I'm begging Igbos and other Christians in the South. Please, stop insulting Gov Ortom and the people of Benue. We are you last line of defence. That is why we are being hit hard. Plateau and Nassarawa States have fallen already. They have been effectively captured. Benue is the last line of resistance now. All leaders in the North are now mounting pressure on Gov Ortom to stop the implementation of that Law. These people know what they are doing. Incidentally, they are coming out of their hiding now one by one. All States in the South should pass Anti-Open Grazing Laws now. |
All Christians in the South should wake up get ready. The agenda is real! It is no longer a secret. Please Igbos and Yoruba Christians should brace up. The battle line has been drawn. We the Christians in the Middle Belt (North Central) are the first line of target and casualties. And we are your first line of defence. Please, stop insulting Ortom. This is not about Ortom. The issue here is systematic land grabbing and islamization, using herdsmen as a cover. Please, let everybody wake up. History is repeating itself before our very eyes. The battle is real. They are quick to deny that it is not about tribe and religion. But the reverse is the case and the truth. Benue State is being hit hard now because we are the last standing strong line of defence. Plateau and Nassarawa States have fallen. They have been effectively occupied. I'm the voice of the one shouting in the wilderness. South East, South South and South West. War is approaching your domain. Wake up. |
Kokolet11:Middle Belt politicians are failing us. They are nothing but a complete bunch of selfish cowards. |
@malton. Please, how do we get our Governors to leave NGF and start MBGF? Please, we need to act fast! |
The stupidity and arrogance of these demons is really nauseating. All of a sudden, the killings which have been going on for years unabated, are now as a result of the Anti-Open Grazing Law passed recently. These people are so audaciously mendacious. Are these people really humans? Or are we living with materialized demons? |
Kokolet11:You are very correct! This is exactly what we the Youth of MB are asking our political leaders to do. But they seem to be afraid. Of what I don't know. |
iamrealdeji:Chei! |
mysteriousman:I collaborate your view 100%. I'm against democracy in our country. I think we fared better then. |
Africonji:Actually, not all of them. As you rightly said in your first post above, lack of sound education and social integration have left some of them seriously backward and lacking in basic human values. And again, as you mentioned earlier, our country lacks a comprehensive records of citizens. Infact, our security agencies are not doing enough in the policing of our borders. Recently, a report was released by independent researchers who discovered that, there are hardline criminals of foreign decent infiltrating the country from the borders in the North. This also needs investigation. |
Annie939:Sure. Lol. |
Alejoa:Your comment is very insightful. I agree with you on virtually all that you have said. However, calling on the Senate to act on these killings is not out of place. Don't you agree with me that, in a working democracy, the Senate are supposed to wade in to stop these kilings? There seems to be a deliberate ineptitude on the part of the Executive that controls the country's security agencies. In my candid opinion, I feel this issue needs a thorough and holistic investigation. Politics aside. |
ashjay001:You are not far from the truth. |
Oma307:Hmmm! Btw, I like your signature. |
On January 1, 2018, President Buhari delivered his New Year speech in which, he addressed the nation on a number of issues while wishing Nigerians happy New Year celebrations. In his speech, the President mentioned some of the issues affecting the Nation such as fuel scarcity, unemployment, infrastructure and security challenges like Boko Haram in the North East, as well as killings in other parts of the country, particularly, the killings in Omoku in Rivers State on New Year's eve. He mentioned that, the killings are the handwork of criminal elements. Consequently, he directed security agents to go after the perpetrators. However, the President did not mention the issue of Fulani herdsmen who are having clashes with farmers in many parts of the country. Incidentally, the Fulani herdsmen attacked villages in two Local Governments Areas of Benue State on New Year's day, and the following day. After the dust of the attacks settled, 73 lifeless bodies were recovered and counted. They were buried yesterday Thursday, January 11, 2018. It is important that President Buhari address the nation on the issue of killings by herdsmen. Many are of the view that, the inability of the President to specifically address the issue and give the security agents the order to go after the killer herdsmen, is giving them some form of encouragement to sustain their attacks. Mr President Sir, this issue is precipitating serious doubts on your integrity. It is therefore, very imperative that you make a nationwide televised speech on this issue, particularly, at the wake of the Benue massacre. It must be noted that, Taraba State also came under sustained attacks from the herdsmen. The death toll is more than 50. Silence in the face of injustice is always misunderstood as approval. Thanks. |
Burukpe:As for El Rufai and other Northern leaders, I'm not baffled by their silence. |
onward4life:If they cannot come now, they shouldn't come during campaigns. |
On New Year's day, and the following day, over 70 people were gruesomely massacred in Benue State. The leaders of Fulani herdsmen have claimed responsibility and given reasons for the attacks. The victims of these attacks were buried yesterday being Thursday, January 11, 2018. Among the victims were heavily pregnant women. Some of them, the herdsmen ripped their wombs, removed the babies and slaughter or smashed them. Pictures of these victims are a gory sight. Many people across the country have openly condemned the killing of innocent men, women and children by the Fulani herdsmen. One of the persons expected to condemn these killings in strongest possible terms and possibly take action is the Senate President Bukola Saraki. Well, personally, I'm yet to come across his reactions. If anyone here has a link to his comments concerning the killings, he or she can help direct me to the link. Meanwhile, I feel there should be more to this issue than verbal condemnation. The National Assembly should act. Therefore, I'm asking: Where is the Senate President Bukola Saraki? |
If only you had reason like this from the beginning. |
malton:Oh you are here. The man is useless and pathetic. He is an illiterate even if he is a Ph.d holder. |
You are sick in the head. @malton. Come and hear your Gov. This is simply pathetic. |
. |
PearlStreet:It's here already.
|
Biased IGP. Gov Ortom should keep a close tab on this man. There should be no covert agenda to protect herdsmen while harassing Benue people. |
Buhari is wicked. Look at the kind of people he is still holding tight in his govt to deliver "change" to Nigerians. People like DaLong the Sports Minister, Audu Ogbe, Onochie, etc. Buhari is truly wicked. |
The stench that keeps oozing from Presidential Villa is really suffocating. Over 2million cows killed! Just imagine this nonsense. And cows are valued high and above human beings. Madam. You are a very wicked witch. |
For those of you who are still on this thread, I want to inform you on a very reliable note, that interactive session with Benue stakeholders is one event the IGP will never forget for the rest of his life. He was completely overwhelmed by the abundant and incontrovertible evidence, coupled with a barrage of questions. In attendance were religious leaders, traditional rulers, all members of Benue State Executive Council, Benue State House of Assembly, NASS members from Benue State, as well as opinion leaders. The session was exothermic and explosive. The people could not hide their anger and disappointment. They did not hold back anything. They let him have it all. They were very blunt with the IGP and demanded apology for his comments. He had no choice than to apologize. |
Biased IGP. |
The leadership of that association should be arrested and prosecuted unfailingly. They openly vowed to fight against the implementation of that Bill. What more is needed to effect their arrest? |
The unfortunate thing which many people don't know is that, anytime the people try to fortify and defend themselves, the military will swiftly descend on them and disarm them completely, thereby rendering them helpless. That is the sad truth. Not that the communities are not making efforts. |
