Why Tutor Web design Directly on
Nairaland?
The Internet is a large source of Web Design Tutorials, some correct and
some are not. Since HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, etc may be foreign to a
newbie, he may be quite unsure of what he is learning.
To make matters worse, most tutorials do not have a FUNCTIONAL
interactive medium where questions can be asked and answered.
The Solution:
The problem will be solved if a platform is created to treat web design
tutorials and at the same time deal with questions posted by users. This
is where the thread comes in.
This thread will treat Web tutorials on HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript and so on.
These tutorials will be posted DIRECTLY HERE on the thread. Problems/
Questions can also be posted and since this is an open platform, it may
be answered by fellow Nairalanders who have had experience in our local
market.
All you have to do is sit back, visit the thread, read the posts, ask
questions (if any), contribute to or debunk posted tutorials. And you do
all of this without even leaving Nairaland! How easier can it be?

You should wait for the first 1 month before you use the months discussed here to create your own blog. The most important is to learn FIRST then do LATER.

who is the programmer ? i work from CCHub, been a member for almost a year now.
I can tell you about most startups there and majority use PHP with frameworks Laravel and codeIgniter, Java (android)
a few python and C#/.NET like church+

dude those programming languages are not something to have in your arsenal
if you are in Nigeria, and even if you go abroad, what is the gurantee you will code better
than those 17-year-olds who have been hacking their school's server since they were 9 ?

I want to teach you from the scratch how to develop a website using the most popular CMS_ Joomla.

I accidentally stumbled on Joomla some years ago; a client demanded a site requiring storing and retrieving data. I looked everywhere for who to teach me, I spent some good cash yet there were no results until I met a guy who casually showed me the prospects of Joomla and I learnt it on my own!

You may want to know, on what authority or experience I want to teach Joomla. Well, I've been using Joomla to develop websites for over 5yrs now and within this period; I've done over a hundred websites with Joomla only. yes, priests CANNOT forgv sins but they are they can do dat by d POWER OF GOD in using d authority vested on dem by Christ which reaches dem through d apostles. for more info read:

wen u pray fore anyone u join in faith with that person for forgivement of sin from God. not u to forgive. that was a nice verse but u dont even uderstand the verses. give me another verse were these apostles forgives sins theme selfs.

Since you said u're new to web development, I'll advise u to lay your hands on small projects first before venturing into building a social network.
