Pretty Sure we have all heard this from our friends before, whether boy or girl, everybody seems to have some type of preference when it comes to dating, for girls its either they want Tall, dark, fine, financially stable etc, the guys be like, boobs all day, nahh that ass, light skinned etc.

This stereotypes are not just words, they are locked in our minds unconsciously and it influences our decisions in choosing life partners. A lot of people seem to always have issues in their relationships and they don't realize that they have been dating their type and your type might be the reason you are not getting it right when it comes to relationships.

Yes this might not be case for everybody and yes some people get lucky with their types but if you have been dating and it has not been working, this might just be because you have a type and you have unconsciously locked your mind from dating anybody that does not fit into your list.

So if you like a girl with big ass and that as always been the first reason you walk to a girl, then try a girl with little or no ass at all, she might just be the one for you, same goes for the ladies...looking for tall boos upandan, try the short guy, he may just be the one for you.

If you went to the secondary school in the early 20s, then you will be able to relate to a few things below, especially if you were in a boarding school:

1. Seniors way back were so old and big it was simply impossible to call them by their names, you just knew that they were not your mate on every level.

5. That beef every secondary girl in a mixed school had with Queen's college girls like they were stealing the boys.....

6. Most male biology teachers were pervs.....

7. The Infamous Saturday beans, if you are a boarder.....

8. If you were 2005 set, when you got to ss1, secondary school became junior & secondary and you became the junior in senior secondary just like being in js1 all over again, Js3 students were SS3 student in their school...#thepain

9. Are you that junior that spat in your seniors food....

I have a friend…lets say her name is Tope….she does not like to borrow people money anymore because she does not play when she needs her money back, don’t get me wrong she is a very nice person but she does not play when it comes to money.

Funny thing about Tope is that she has a lot of boys that obviously have money but always wanting to borrow from her, we have never been able to figure out why?

The incident i have not been able to stop laughing was one time when she was in her final year, that time when you always re-calculate every meal and every trip to a place, this guy comes to borrow from Tope, let’s say his name is Abdul (trying not to use an igbo name)…anyways, Abdul comes to Tope on a Friday evening and says he his about to die (Yes..i exxaggerate …a lil) and he needs money to go to heaven bla bla bla and he will return first thing on monday morning…. Tope being an ANGEL that she is gives the last 12k on her to Abdul since she had extra 1k that will last her for the weekend (yeah this happened in Ibadan so 1k will do).

Fast Forward to Monday, Abdul starts to stall with the money claiming he his coming with it, this stalling went on till Friday that week. Saturday evening, Tope sees a few of Abdul’s friends and she explains her ordeal with Abdul to them and the guys are like they are sorry but Abdul does not pay back monies (this is actually an correct in English) that he borrows that she should just let go….my girl is like really…watch me get back my money…i wee get back to you guys with good news, they all laughed and dispersed.

Sunday evening, nice Tope gets on facebook and looks for names of people with the same surname as Abdul and sends them a message.

What do i know about boyfriends or keeping relationships but we can all relate to different types of Ex’s given our conversations with girls and guys about their exes. These are a few types of Ex

1. The first ex

This ex is the one who turned you into the bitter realist you are today. You either broke his heart or he broke yours — either way, it’s affected every relationship you’ve had since.

No matter how much time has passed, you probably have absolutely nothing nice to say about him, as you still question WTF you were thinking in the first place.

2. The one who rightfully hates you

You cheated on him, you hated his best friend — whatever the actual reason is, this guy hates you and there’s nothing you can do about it.

It doesn’t matter if you are a completely different person now. You have scarred him for life and he never wants to speak to you or see you again. It’s okay, it happens to the best of us.

3. The one you break up, to make up… to break up with

You don’t know why you think it will be different each time, it is literally the same sh*t over and over again.

Your friends all warn you, but, no, you never listen to them even though they’ve been right the four times prior. But it’ll be different this time around. STFU, no it won’t and it never will be, at least not in the long run.

4. The one you pretend never existed

You know that one person you dated, for however long, who you would rather pretend never existed?

Maybe this wasn’t a full-fledged boyfriend, but a consistent hook up, either way, it never happened in your book and when people question you about it… deny, deny, deny.

After the domestic violent stories that has been trending of recent , I decided to ask my self if what am going through is domestic violence .
My boyfriend has never beating me but he slaps me regularly , just slap.
Even the day he proposed to me he slapped me when I by mistake gave him a wrong finger , he says slapping me is a sign of correction .
The day I went to the market and forgot to wear my engagement ring because I take it off when bathing since it’s not gold and I don’t want it to wash off, so I take it off but forgot to wear it that day to the market , he came back home to pick up a document and saw the ring , drove all the way to the market , dragged me into the car, slapped me and put the ring on my finger .
Mine is just slap, he has never pushed or hit me with an object . Just slap .
Do I need to leave the man ??

Oye : In this era that everybody is fighting against domestic violence, my dear..don’t leave him o, shebi its is just slap….

What to do : Simply turn the other cheek so that he can slap you properly, sho lo stupid ni……

So this morning on my way to work, it was just another regular day to go to work, so i entered the cab and then waited for the cab to get full, so here comes this woman who sits beside me. I adjusted so that we could all be comfortable and get going, this same woman was trying to talk to the person on my left, she was on my right and then she opened her mouth, i never experredit, she blessed me with the breathe of life, literally i almost died, i could no longer breathe, i was in a state of coma in a nanosecond, because i took it all in, this woman just destroyed my sense of smell. If i could sue, i will.

Is there such a thing has unconditional love,

Growing up watching Disney cartoons left an impression on a lot of us, we grew up believing in a lot of ideas propagated by Disney, the idea of true love, love at first sight, and unconditional love. We believe out there is a beauty that will love the beast in us, a prince that will look pass the house maid (as in Cinderella). We are programmed to believe that societal gaps, physical attributes etc doesn’t matter, that true love is unconditional.

But is love truly unconditional. For love to be truly unconditional, it means that I should have no reason why I love my spouse, I love this person for no reason, no conditions attached. Doesn’t this mean that I will have to be mindless to love unconditionally?
