Peritus:
'Akata' is an unpopular slang in Nigeria, and sometimes used in reference to an older spinster ( retired girls) in the east.
On the flip side, Nigerians don't really give a hoot on how different u look or speak. We ain't homogeneous in any form so we are used to people's complexities. What happened to speaking plain English instead, or you think we dont understand or speak it in a social sphere. If you try too hard, you may end up giving guys like me cause to laugh.
Lol Thank you for your reply! I don't know, my best friend suggested that to me...he told me if i want to impress a girl learn the pidgin language... lol She begged me not to learn it... she doesnt like the way it sounds
