Submitted at VFS and went to the embassy for interview the same day.
Do you need prior appointment to go to vfs,cos for sometime now,their site has not been functional.Again,what was their charge?

Arrived in Kyiv on Monday, have been unable to come here due to activities, preparations for travel, and now settling down here. My experience at Boryspil airport on Monday convinces me even more that no agent can possibly guarantee you entry to Ukraine. There are various departments that seem to work independently of each other. The airport is a bit like embassy 2.0, they ask questions again and you get evaluated again on the spot. I assume you're here so you should know this. If I had paid 1500$ to any agent I wouldn't have afforded my travel. It's still cheaper to apply by yourself 5 times than to pay 1500$ to an agent that still can't guaranty entry. This is my own opinion, to each their own. Btw, I'm in Gatne if anyone would like to hangout smiley
Hello... please advice the process,did you submit your docs@vfs Abuja or did you go straight to the embassy for interview?

[Hello....now that you mentioned Ukraine ...just want to ask...did you pay the so called "visa assurance fee"at the embassy?

Sir, there is a VFS in Abuja. I know this because I submitted my Ukraine Visa application there.

Also, I spoke with someone here who seems to know much and he said the embassy collects its application by itself.
I want to know please how to even start this Poland work thing. Let someone help out..[/quote]

Not received an email yet, the guy on the phone clearly told me I might not get a mail, but I should proceed with my appointment. So no cause for alarm, go ahead and fill out your visa form.
I thought the mail was supposed to be like an invite to even proof to them that you have been scheduled for that day.

hi..any one who has a Poland work permit,the visa appointment booking method is now via phone registration...check the Nigerian news portal on Poland website
https://www.gov.pl/web/nigeria-en/consular-information---registration-for-visa-appointments

Consular information - registration for visa appointments

08.09.2020

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Abuja informs that from September 10, 2020 will start the telephone registration of visa appointments (applications for C and D visas). At the same time, registration via the e-konsulat portal is suspended until further notice. Registration for the legalization of documents will continue to be made via the e-konsulat portal.

In order to register a visa appointment:

1. Call the number: +234 809 650 6113 (we do not answer text messages, voice messages and e-mails).

2. The phone will be active only on the following days: 10/09, 24/09, 08/10, 22/10, 05/11 from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm.

3. After the available slots are full, the telephone line will be switched off and restarted on the day of the next registration.

4. During registration, the applicant will be required to provide the following data:

a) name and surname;

b) type of visa and purpose of stay;

c) date of the planned trip to Poland;

d) e-mail address to which confirmation of the date and time of the appoinment will be sent.

IMPORTANT: It is not possible to register a visa appointment other than by using the number +234 809 650 6113. Please do not call other available embassy numbers and do not send e-mails asking for a visa appointment.

MoDuPe19201:
1) The portal to book for visa appointment was opened yesterday. And the dates for submission will resume on the 24th.( for anyone with appointment already)

2) They only allow few visa applications per day.

3) When the application portal was opened yesterday, only few and fastest people were able to grab the slots that were available.

I was told that to get a date you have to stay up late and try around midnight. I’ll try tonight , you can also try your luck too.

Hello guys..when I checked the info that was passed,they said.."The submission of applications will commence on 24 aug".

1.What do they really mean by that since the available date is till 10-9-2020?

2.How does one know the validity date of your travel insurance when there is still travel restriction to EU?
