Evangelical Spiritual Church in Lagos, Primate Elijah Ayodele Babatunde,has released his 2015 prophecies.

According to him,President Jonathan is the last PDP president of Nigeria.

General elections

Nigerians should observe seven days prayer in January to avert crisis that may plunge the nation
into serious confusion during and after the polls.This year’s election will throw up a lot of
issues. President Goodluck Jonathan will do everything to win a second term, however, he
needs 14 days prayer to have a peaceful reign to enable him complete a second term, if elected.

International community and some heads of states
will attempt to work against his re-election. Let us pray to stall violence that will erupt after the
presidential election in February that may affect the conduct of governorship election in many states.

The President should also commit his health and that of his wife to prayer.

Obasanjo, Edwin Clark and Bola Tinubu, should rebuke what can cut short their political career.
They are in the last political game. New leaders will take over from them soon.

The next Speaker of House of Reps will not live up to expectation as he will be a mere stooge of the President. The Senate will always be at loggerheads with the Presidency. Chairman of INEC, Prof. Attahiru Jega will be confused during the polls. There will be several gimmicks to cajole the INEC to rig the election. Prayers must be offered so that the commission will not lose some of its staff to accident or attack before and during the election. E-voting will not work. There will be ballot box snatching and stuffing during the election.

Jonathan should do more to fight corruption and rescue the abducted Chibok girls otherwise
opposition will shock him with propaganda on that.

Both the PDP and APC will soon be polarised by crisis. The national chairman of PDP, Adamu Mu’azu will have problems and may be removed
from office; tell him to pray.

Jonathan is in the midst of enemies who are after his life. The Presidential jets should be sanctified to avoid artificial disaster.

No matter what, Jonathan will be the last PDP President in Nigeria. I don’t see a landslide victory in the presidential election. To be frank, neither the
victory of Jonathan or General Muhammadu Buhari can guarantee peace except we pray well.

Jonathan should be wary of diplomatic rows with foreign countries. There won’t be election in some states.

Both PDP and APC will share victory across the country particularly in the South-West and the North. The election will be characterised by advanced rigging. APC will later sue PDP.

Anambra State governor, Willy Obiano, will have problems with big names in the state and his
predecessor, Peter Obi. APGA’s flag will soon be swallowed by the PDP.

The glory of Lagos APC is fading except the party hierarchy makes hasty restitution otherwise time is not on their side as regards the governorship election. They have committed a blunder with the choice of Akinwunmi Ambode as governorship candidate. Only prayer can change the tide.

PDP will spring surprises and shock APC. If PDP works hard, the party will win Lagos governorship;however, the party’s candidate, Jimi Agbaje, needs prayers.

Jonathan will not take Nigeria to the Promised Land. Let us pray against the death of
an ex-President.

Vice President Namadi Sambo should pray against what may make him witness political redundancy in office both before and after 2015 polls. I could
see his office being negotiated at higher level.

APC will face an uphill task to retain Edo and Oyo states. Governor Abiola Ajimobi should be careful not to lose to Rashidi Ladoja of Accord Party.

In Rivers State, if PDP underrates APC, the latter
will win, though the election will be marred with violence.

Attempts by the opposition parties to defeat Governor Ibikunle Amosun in Ogun State
will not materialise. If APC elects right governorship candidate, the party will dislodge PDP from Ondo State in 2016.

PDP will win Delta and Cross River states but there will be crisis in Abia and Ebonyi states even though the party will win there.

APC will win in Sokoto. PDP will find it hard to retain Kaduna State because there will be serious crisis there.

Kano State will be difficult for PDP to win, so also Katsina State. PDP will win Jigawa
and Taraba. Prayer must be offered to avert the death of former ministers from the South-West and South-South and to douse serious political tension
in Kwara, Jos, Ekiti, Plateau, Kano, Kaduna, Imo,Delta, Akwa Ibom, Ebonyi, Yobe and Taraba States.

PDP has messed up in Kwara, the victory will go to APC. Former Minister of State for Defence,Musiliu Obanikoro should pray against political
disappointment.

Economy

The stock exchange will rise in the early part of the year. Effect of devaluation of naira will continue till around August. Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, despite her World Bank background, will not be able to make appreciable impact on the economy.

MTN and Etisalat should pray against management crisis. Glo workers should pray against sudden sack. Many states will not function well as result of the effects of accumulated debt.

The governor of Central Bank of Nigeria will have crises. He may be denied a second term. Some
banks will collapse and one of the dead banks will be resuscitated. Flour, sugar and fuel prices will be increased in the year.

There will be serious crises in OPEC and the Controller-General of Customs and the group managing director of the NNPC will be removed.

State of the nation

Prayer must be offered against recurrence of Ebola in Nigeria in the year. The Presidential Villa called Aso Rock will soon have a new name. It may not be in 2015 but certainly it will happen. I also foresee more building collapse in Lagos in the
year. Climatic condition will cause a lot of problems and kidnapping will take a different
dimension in the year, so, please, let us counter these with prayer before hand.

Let traditional rulers in the South-West pray against infernos that may engulf their palaces.

Journalists and Nollywood stars need prayers against sudden death. National secretariat of
Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) will experience crisis.

Also, Oba of Benin, Emirs of Nupe and Zaria should pray against sickness. Some universities will be shut because of cultism and some Vice
Chancellors will be queried.
We need to pray to avoid plane crash in Lagos,Abuja and Kano airports. We need prayers against ocean surge in Nigeria and other African countries
this year. The South-West must be careful against the sudden outbreak of polio and cholera. We need prayers against fluid outbreak occasioned by poultry products. There will be fresh cases of Ebola in the year, let those in the health sector
double their efforts. We should pray against death of one of the outgoing governors, a first lady an communication guru.

National Union of Road Transport and Workers (NURTW) will face serious infighting and killings and court actions. We must pray against bloodshed among their members in different states. Some states in Nigeria will collapse from 2018, owing due to excessive borrowing from overseas.

Insecurity

I see flames from bombings in several parts of the country, including the South-West and more abduction of school pupils. Efforts should be intensified by security operatives to forestall that.

Boko Haram will come up with different strategiesto attack the nation. There are three groups of
Boko Haram in Nigeria already. Only prayers can weaken their strength. Countries pretending they want to assist Nigeria to curb Boko Haram are not our friends. If they are allowed, they will create more problems for the nation. Chief of Staff to the
President will have issues with his boss and some ministers. Security details of the President will also be changed.

Sports

I foresee a trophy being lifted by Chelsea Football Club this year in England. Nigeria’s League
Management Company needs to guard and pray against crisis in the year. Let us pray against the
death of football and boxing legends in the year too.

A fiery video of Bishop David Oyedepo preaching at Living Faith Church has been uploaded to the internet in which Africa’s wealthiest clergymen angrily advocates death for the ‘Islamic demons’ in Northern Nigeria.

“God has anointed me to lead a revolution against Islamic jihadists,” Oyedepo is seen heatedly shouting to his congregation in the YouTube clip. “If you catch anyone that looks like them – kill him! Kill him and pull out his neck. I will spill his blood on the ground. What nonsense!”

“What Islamic demons,” the influential cleric continued, his entire message interspersed with loud ‘praying in tongues’. “If Nigeria waits for the church to rise, Nigeria will disappear as a nation. You mean government cannot protect people? What a mess… Even the president said they (Boko Haram) have infiltrated his government. To do what? Must the North continue to rule? What devils!”


Oyedepo further offered a prayer seemingly supporting a split between Nigeria’s Muslim North and Christian South. “All the Northern forces that are sponsoring these uprisings and killings – I decree the curse of God upon them. Lord, if it is Your will to break up Nigeria – break it now!”


The Winners Chapel Bishop, in his heated address, further implied that the censuses carried out in Nigeria were hugely inaccurate. “Where are the human beings? I wouldn’t be surprised if all the North is equal to Lagos! We have never had a successful census in this country.”

He directly addressed the rumours that Boko Haram agents were targeting his church. “I was even told from reports that they were targeting this church. If you see anyone here, kill him. Kill him and spill his blood on the ground. I am saying that to you. What nonsense! What devils!”

Oyedepo claimed he was sent by God ‘as a prophet of liberation’ to release Africa from the snare of Islamic terrorists. “Therefore, the roots of Boko Haram – whether from Sudan or Saudi Arabia – become rotten today! I stand today with every anointing on me and I declare the Boko Haram camp cursed! I declare their collaborators cursed! I decree their sponsors cursed!”


According to Oyedepo, “I have called the fire too many times. I am privileged to be an expert in calling it. If I look at a witch with my kind of eyes, it is dead. There is no praying. If my eyes meet your eyes, the bigger will consume the smaller one.”

Although there is no date on the sermon televised on Dunamis TV belonging to Abuja Pastor Paul Enenche, the clip was uploaded in November 2014.

Oyedepo’s terse message comes at a time when tensions are already rising in view of the upcoming Nigerian election in February 2015 which will pit former Head of State General Muhammadu Buhari against incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan.

The Deputy Governor of Imo State,Prince Eze Madumere has
urged all Imo women to vote for  all the candidates of All Progressives Congress(APC) at all levels in the upcoming election.

  According to Prince Madumere, APC is the only party that has the ability to transform Nigeria.He disclosed this while speaking to women of  Mbaitoli-Ikeduru Federal Constituency who paid him visit at his country home, Lake Malinda in Achi Mbieri,Mbaitoli Local Government Area.

  He also used the opportunity to pinpoint the positive transformations recorded by the state since the inception of Governor Rochas Okorocha's administration especially in matters pertaining to women.Speaking further,he said the free education scheme of Governor Rochas Okorocha's administration has bridged the gap between the poor and the rich in acquiring quality education.

  He urged the women to come out in large number and vote for APC,saying the women are catalysts for a positive development.He also begged them to vote for General Buhari who does not support corruption as well as being an experienced leader in the tackling of insurgency which has been a major concern since the inception of President GEJ's administration.

  He went ahead to say that corruption is a major factor retarding the development of Nigeria and General Buhari's past record of zero tolerance to corruption will solve the problem.He also told the women to forget PDP's antics of labelling Buhari as a terrorist,saying Buhari has a very cordial relationship with the Igbos.According to him,there were many Igbos in Buhari's cabinet during his time as the Head of State.

  All APC candidates contesting for the House of Assembly and
National Assembly were also presented to the women by Prince Madumere during the visit.

  Responding to question if he is Okorocha's running mate in 2015,he said:

“There is no vacancy in Douglas House. It is Governor Okorocha who has graciously presented me as his running mate. "

Also speaking on his promise to host the women for for both Christmas and New Year, he said:

"A total cash gift of N3.6 million naira where N2.1 million goes to women of Mbaitoli women and N1.5 to their Ikeduru counterparts. "

"Also a total of 1,068 fifty Kg bags of rice- 627 bags to Mbaitoli women while 441 bags
to Ikeduru local government women."

nominations of the two major parties- the ruling PDP and the APC, appear to have eclipsed the
nation’s top headliners of 2014, such as the Chibok girls abduction, and the random seizure of territories by the rampaging Boko Haram
terrorists. Also submerged in the nomination hoopla are the impeachment of Governor Murtala Nyako and the defection of the five PDP governors that triggered it; Ayo Fayose’s upstaging of APC’s Kayode Fayemi in the Ekiti Governorship elections,the dramatic fall of crude oil price and its implications for our oil dependent economy, and the recruitment exercise that left scores of young graduate job-seekers dead from stampedes.
All of these and other major headline news of 2014 may soon be a distant memory, but we
can’t easily forget the failure of the national soccer team and defending champions, the Super
Eagles, to qualify for the African Cup of Nations,the Air Force plane that was shot down by the
Boko Haram insurgents and one of the pilots reportedly beheaded. Indeed, with its gruesome operations getting to new levels of cruelty, Boko
Haram stretched our military to the limit, and exposed the decay and dismal state of our armed
services. That was what came to light in 2014,but must never be allowed to continue in 2015.The Ebola Virus Disease, EVD, came and was defeated, but not until after claiming the lives of some victims including Dr. Stella Ameyo Adadevoh and other patriots; rather than plan how
to prevent future resurgence, the APC and the ruling PDP were bickering over whom to credit
with the arrest of the disease. Of course, 2014 produced its fair share of scandals and corruption
in high places too numerous to mention.Sad to recall, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor’s private jet
which was involved in the cash for arms scandal,was a major headline news about which I wrote a commentary, which provoked CAN’s response in
pedestrian vulgarity, which I declined to nobilitate with a retort. The pain for Nigerians is the impunity with which perpetrators loot the treasury
under the watch of President Goodluck Jonathan.President Jonathan and his strategists should be having a big laugh after a ‘hard-won’ battle that
finally handed His Excellency an unprecedented sole candidacy of the ruling People’s Democratic
Party, PDP, in the 2015 presidential elections,with a loud declaration at a rally on November 11,2014. Gen. Mohammadu Buhari (Rtd) is flying the flag of the APC, having clinched the party’s ticket
in closely fought primaries.
The implication of Dr.Jonathan’s declaration on that day (11-11-2014)has occultic significance.When the number is repeated, it takes a greater
ritualistic intensity. In this case, we have 11-11-11, because when you add the date 11-11-2014 as a year together, you arrive at 11 also. This is in consonance with occultic

Close to10 hoodlums yesterday stormed a church in Akure, Ondo State,disrupting the weekly service, as well flogging the officiating pastor.

Some members of the church were also beaten by the hoodlums.The hoodlums on entering the church went straight to Pastor Arije,the officiating pastor and flogged him mercilessly.

Sources say the hoodlums were sponsored by a rival pastor in a nearby church.Police men were alerted by some members of the church.In an attempt to arrest the hoodlums by the police,one of the hoodlums broke a bottle and stabbed a police man on the neck.

The hoodlums later destroyed
some of the church properties- plastic chairs, wall clock, window glass and electrical appliances at the CAC, Pillar of Fire Akure as well as making way with the church offerings.

The news was confirmed by Wole Ogodo, state Police Public Relation Officer.He said his men will further investigate the incident.

R&B singer Timi Dakolo and his wife Busola are currently 4yrs in marriagewith 3 children.Known for their hit track 'Iyawo Mi',the couple shared a story on how they met and other issues.

On how they met:

Timi: We met at the House on the Rock church. I was not searching then, but simply minding my own business when I spotted her. I was standing
behind the choristers on the podium when I sighted this fine girl. I went to speak to her by
asking her why she was frowning in church. I remember saying, ‘Hi, my name is Timi Dakolo,’and she said, ‘and so?’ You would not believe that she gave me a fake number and I started searching for her every Sunday until I finally caught up with her and challenged her for giving me a wrong number. It was my lucky day because that was how we started talking. This was in 2010.

Busola: I gave him my genuine phone number but he thought it was a wrong one. Unfortunately, my phone got missing that day. After service, he followed us in a car to know where I was staying
and later on, he kept coming to the house.

On why Timi is an exception:

Busola: “While he kept asking me out, I realised he was different from other artistes. He turned out to be a wonderful person.”

On the proposal

Timi “I went to visit her and then put the ring in an empty plate of food. I was a little scared that she might say no but at the same time, I was convinced it was time to do it.”

Busola: “It happened early in the morning. He said he wanted to make me breakfast in bed then he came with the plate covered and stayed a few minutes. I wasn’t expecting anything more than noodles but he opened the plate and brought out a
ring.”

A secondary school  student,Ikechi,has stabbed his Lagos based father,Andrew,in the right eye for refusing to buy him  Christmas clothes.

  The unfortunate incident happened on Thursday.Reports say the boy had earlier locked his father in their room for some minutes in their residence in Arowojobe Street,Osodi.

  It was further revealed by family members that his father who works as a hotel guard had initially explained to Ikechi that the the small amount of money he has was used to buy Christmas clothes for his three siblings.He went ahead to tell him that it was not enough to buy all the clothes he wanted to get for his siblings.However,Ikechi was furious that nothing was bought for him which made him stab the father.

  According to Ikechi’s cousin, Ukachukwu,Ikechi fought with his father throughout the night for refusing to buy him Christmas clothes.He went ahead to say that Ikechi wanted to wear the cloth to a friend's birthday at one of the beaches along the Victoria Island-Epe Expressway, on Sunday.
Ukachukwu said:

“He accused his father of hating him and, fed up with his complaints, the man got his belt and began to flog the boy.

“As his father continued flogging him, Ikechi reached for a knife and stabbed him straight in the
eye. Upon seeing the horror of his deed, Ikechi took his heels.
