congratulations !!! If you are about to acquire a land, because its one of the best investment one can do. Now acquiring a land as good as it sounds has lead people to total lost of investments, This is because they did not take time to do their home work well. SECURITY: You need to known how secured the area you intend to obtain the land is, look to see if the government have provided adequate security for that area. also check if the community itself have a way of tackling security challenges. Make out time to ask people around to know if the area is peaceful and free robbers and hoodlums. security is the key and must be considered when buying a land! 5.) LEGAL DOCUMENTS: Before you seal the deal check the legal documents that the land has,that is the title of the land. a.) check if the land is genuinely registered with MINISTRY OF LANDS AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT. b.) check if it includes Survey Plan Lifting. c.) Deed of Assignment. additionally some properties that are government approved layout and contains CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY are considered best options. 6.) Consult and work with a good, registered and genuine Real Estate Firm. When you have done all background checks and every thing is going well, be rest assured your investments will yield good returns.
