Me: then eat alone while I feel this sword.
I brought the sword out and press the pommel on the handle, the bright light appear and then I started swinging it around trying to learn how to fight with sword.
"I will teach you how to fight with sword" she said, eating comfortably on the ground.

Me: and who told you I don't know how to use a sword?
Mur: I don't need to be told, with the way you are handling that sword you seriously need to learn and practice.
Me: okay come and fight me I challenge you.
Mur: not now.
Me: oh you are afraid
Mur: no am not, okay then get ready.
She stood up and brought out her sword, she charge me with anger and started fighting me, she really know how to handle sword.
She beat me and try to take the sword from me but I hold firm, we started dragging it till something came out of the sword and hit the wall, the ground started shaking.
Mur: time to run.
She hold my hand as we ran out of the mountain with fast speed.
When outside I look back and saw the tunnel blocked.
Me: what's that?
Mur: I think the sword have some kind of magic strike, and I didn't even finish my food.

Me: when do we start?

"Oh well I have some friends in the forest" she was talking and also walking front and back.

Mur: every seven days, the wicked Queen always pay homage to the people on the mountain, they take our farm products and send them, while in return they protect the Queen from anybody that want to hurt or over throw her.

Me: the people I ran to when I tried to escape from you?
Mur: yes but those are not the giants, they protect the mountain and the Queen.
Me: hmmm interesting, so how do we strike?
Mur: the mountain men have thousands of men and chariots, my friends are not even up to hundred, we will need more men to strike.
Me: so what do we do?
Mur: we will start recruiting, at least other villages will like to join us because the mountain men terrorize them too, we all live in fear, only the Queen and her friends live peacefully while we are just slaves and servants to them.
Me: why did you guys let all this happen?
Mur: oh well, when my dad and mum died they left the throne for her telling her to guard and watch me grow till am old enough to take over the kingdom but instead she tagged me a barstard child and drove me away, so I ran to live with my grandma outside the village.

my prayer fell on deaf ear after all I don't have a god so who am I praying to? assuming i have a god maybe my prayer would have been answered but since am a god myself I need to save myself because if am waiting for another person to help me I will die here still waiting.

the blue water filled up the mighty hole and then I started swimming ontop, no sign of the old woman again I guess she's below waiting for the water to reach the top of the hole, I wonder what happened to my powers oh, how can my strength just vanish like that all because of the blue water.
as the water get to the top of the hole, I swim to the corner of the chamber and try to climb up, my hands still can't reach the top so I think I need to wait a little for the water to expand more.

I continue waiting there, my legs are far from the ground but I do know how to stay in one place inside water without my leg touching ground, I can even be praying inside water when I was a kid, as I continue waiting something touch my leg, I know it must be her so I swim in side the
water trying to see what touch my leg but when I opened my eyes inside the waters the water hurt my eyes I only bring it out, the water is not hot I wonder why it's burning my eyes oh.
the water reach the top and then I grab the wall and try to come out, as I remove my body remaining my left leg something caught my leg and drag me back to the river, I fell inside again and then this time I close my eyes and swim to the top again, I clean my face before opening it again, I look around and saw nothing.
"if you wanna kill me do it instead of playing with me" I said no one in particular.
"now where is the fun in that?" a place replied from inside the water.
now I get, this idiot just want to toy with me and then make me weak, I think it's trying to show who is more powerful, trying to teach me a lesson before killing me.

I wish I never said that word because after that comment minutes later the water started boiling as if the water is cooking itself, not that it's hot oh no is not hot but it's boiling.
then the water started rotating like a ceiling fan of course am the point of attraction, I was rotating with the water and then a hallow was formed at the middle and then I flow in just like a sphere.
I came out in another big rivers, I swim to the top of the river and when I brought my head out I saw the ugly thing.
it is not just a river but a river build around octopus, the body of the octopus are emanating blue substance probably making the water blue, it has gigantic teeth sharp like blade and also long like sword, the many hands are long, those are hands she was using to toy with me since I guess, am not any weapon and there is no way I can't defeat the octopus, beside I thought that guard said it's serpent or maybe they haven't seen the body before only the hands thereby concluding by saying serpent.
as I look at the octopus the thing growl and then,

Me: where is the sword?
Mur: if you look deeper you will see it.

I move closer and focus my eyes on the water then I saw a white substance moving on the water like a snake, I move away and told her.
"I saw something like a golden snake moving inside the water"
Mur: yeah, that's the sword.
Me: what those it mean?
Mur: I was thinking you will answer that for me, for decades nobody has been able to bring it out, just watch me.
She walk to the coffin and insert her hand, I walk over to see what she's doing, she was trying to catch the moving snake with her bare hands but anytime she try to catch it the snake will run to the opposite direction.
Me: of course that snake is too small you definitely can't catch it, nobody can except you destroy the coffin.
Mur: no, it can't be destroyed, the prophecy says that only the one with the mark can take it and that person is you.
Me: this is crazy.
Mur: try it, you won't lose anything.
Me: what if the snake bite me?
Mur: the snake didn't bite other people that try to catch it for years why will it bite you now, come on try it please.
Me: okay and if I fail you will return me back to my place.

I raised up my shirt and then dip my right hand inside the coffin, I look inside the water I didn't see the snake again, then I started searching for it and before I know it the snake ran into my hand and bite me, I screamed and remove my hand from the horror water falling on the ground and holding my hands, Murica ran to me and saw the mark of the snake.
Mur: am sorry I didn't know this will happen.
She was saying while I was looking at the thing that came out of the water with me,.

I said pointing at the thing on the ground, Murica drop my hand and walk to the thing, she took it up.
Mur: this is the hand of the sword, "the grip" and there is a button on the pommel here, let me see.
She pressed the button of the pommel on the sword handle and a sharp sword came out from the guard of grip, shinning like sun more like a shadow of sword.
Me: holy shit.
Mur: I told you, you are the chosen one.
I stood up and walk to her, I took the sword and look at it very well, it's not even a blade more like shinning sun.
Me: I wonder if this can damage anything.
Mur: use it to cut that rock.

chapter eight

I opened my eyes wide when we enter the mountain through the tunnel.
"What in the name of God are they doing here?"
Mur: oh well I told you, you are the savior I hope this change your mind now.
I didn't bother listening to her again as I kept on walking and also gazing at my drawings all over the wall of the mountain.
They didn't even miss anything that will make me argue about my identity because they draw as if they were looking at me when they were drawing it, there is even one I hold Murica close to myself and I was dressed up like a prince wearing white dress with sword on my shoulder while Murica dressed up like a princess putting on a white gown with golden shoes like cinderella.
This drawings were drawn long ago I wonder who is that person that draw it, that person must be from my time because I don't believe people of old can draw so well like this.
I continue looking at the drawings on the wall while Murica followed me from behind.
Me: who draw them?
Mur: I don't know, this is how I met them too though my grandma said they were drawn by our fore fathers.
Me: this is unbelievable, they didn't even miss my hairs.
Mur: of course they won't dare, the prince drawing must be perfect.
It was really nice and cool to see myself on a wall I know nothing about, I turned and face her.
Me: now what, i've seen the pics so what do you want me to do now?

Me: you don't expect me to say that, this is just a normal drawing I don't know how they appear here but it sure won't change my mind of leaving.

I followed her to the heart of the mountain, we came out from the tunnel and now we are in a place with wide space and margin, there are lights coming from the top of the moutain.
She walk to one coffin more like a coffin rock, she pushed the cover away and then I saw a clean water inside the coffin, the water looks like an anointing oil because it's slippery but the water is clean.
Me: what is this?
Mur: the oracle sword.

We heard a donkey noise outside and then Murica went out to assist her
grandma, she opened the door for her grandma, the woman is old
very old and she walk with walking stick, she came in and when she saw

Grandma: with time you will understand, am happy you are here at least
we have little hope now.

Mur: yes he is glad to be here grandma, come on take your seat let me
give you tea, am going to the temple i will be back in three days

Mur: journey to the temple will take eight hours.

Mur: the palace is in disarray since the wicked queen took over.
Me: and i guess you suppose to be the queen.
Mur: and you the king, the prophecy says only if the prince return

we walk for hours upon hours, there was no danger on the way, we gist
on the way too and i must say shes a heavy talker but there is no
amount of words she can use to convice me to stay, but wait let me see
whats inside the temple first.

The temple is big with waterflow coming from the mouthe of the temple
like a mountain, it was a beauty to behold.
We enter inside the temple that is when my eyes opened wide when i saw it.

Mur: just trust me.

me be till you get what you want so i will just act accordingly. (for her mind am quiet, when am alone I will run joor)
Mur: just let us reach home first then we talk.

i didnt reply i just relax on her back as the horse speed off from the
big forest to lower trees, it looks like we are getting closer to her
so called home, she make the horse stop running and started walking
slowing and as we walk we saw many people on the way carrying some
stuff on their head

Mur: they are my people.
Me: but they dont even greet you as princess.
Mur: i told you am a bastard child i dont even live with my parents,
i live with my grandma.

as we continue moving slowly i started seeing some small hut, we walk
for some minutes before she corner the horse to one road like that
where there is no house and the road is dark like a cursed forest with
dried trees and leaf.
She stop the horse in front of a small hut with trees surrounding the hut,
Mur: we are here.
Me: this is were you live?
Mur: not much but we manage it like that.
Me: thank god am not going to stay here for long.

we climb down from the horse and she tied the horse to one tree in front of the hut, she invite me in and when i
enter inside the hut it look wider inside than outside.
Me: is it this small hut that have this two big room?

i walk in and saw everywhere neatly arranged, its just two room, one
serve as parlour while the other is where they sleep, they have small
hut in back maybe that one serve as kitchen.
Inside the room they have two bed (local bed, no foam just eagle feathers made with wood) and a two cupboard also.
I return to the parlour and sat in the only chair inside the parlour.
Me: so am listening miss Murica, how do i go back?
Mur: (she sat close to me) the question you should ask yourself is who are you?
Me: really, okay who am i?
Mur: you are Ozila and the oracle say you will be my future husband.

Me: what the hell is she doing?
When they saw her they all came down and position themselves with
their sword, i remain in the horse watching.
Guy 1: get out of the way barstard Princess (princess? So shes a princess).
Murica: give me back my friend.
Guy 1: he came to us why should we give him back.
Murica: he is my friend and he got lost, hand him over.
Me: i wasnt lost, i approach them myself since they promise to take me
home (i shouted from the back where i sat watching them ontop the
horse).
Murica: they are going to kill you Ozila.
Guy 1: dont listen to her, we will take you home.
Me: i believe you, i will go with them.
Guy 1: you heard him child get out of the way.
Murica stood for some minutes then she shift to one side of the road,
the men put back their sword and return to their horse, the horse
started moving and as we get close to were Murica stand, she brought
something from her old bag and throw them at us, the thing started
bringing out smoke till everywhere was filled with smoke, the first
guy beat his horse and the horse started running to nowhere in
particular when we left the place i look again and saw Murica in front
of me riding the horse.
Me: what the hell how did you?
Murica: you were going straight to your death.
Me: and how do i know you are not going to kill me, please stop the horse.
Mur: if i want to kill you i would have done that by now, just trust me
and keep quiet.
Me: trust you when i dont even know you and you cant tell me anything
apart from destiny destiny destiny.
Mur: when you saw me in your dream did i do anything wrong to you.
Me: no you didnt.
Mur: good at least you confess now that you saw me in your dream.
Me: and how did you get to know about that.
Mur: i will tell you everything when i get home.

Me: stop telling me about destiny.

Me: i still cant believe am here, let me walk around maybe i will see

I said and stood up again, i look around and saw a
big moutain on my right hand side so i started walking towards the
supposed moutain i know nothing about, Murica was talking following me
behind but all her talk fell on deft ear as i was determined to go
back home and none of her persuasion will stop me.
Murica: you are going to the enemy's camp.
I didnt listen to her till i saw a narrow road that lead to the
moutain, i was going to the road when i started hearing some noise
coming from the moutain side, the noise looks like something
galloping, "stop walking you will kill yourself Ozila" i didnt listen
to her, i saw the people coming and they looks like guards wearing
full armor with swords and spear they are ten in number, i wonder
what will happen if i walk upto them and ask them for direction but
why will i do that in my place there is nothing like horse only cars
and bike, oh well no harm in trying na so i started walking towards
them, i look back but didnt see Murica again maybe she disappear
though i dont care, as i move closer to the men on mask wearing heavy
guarded armor they all stop when they saw me, i walk to their front
and greet "good day Sir "i bend down smiling as i greet all of them,
they didnt reply and they are not even moving, i was getting scared.
"please can you guys tell me the way to Afuze?" you go fear question
na, they all look at each others for some time before the first one
replied "where did you say you come from?"
Me: from Afuze sir,
He look at me very well then ask "what is your name brother?" he is
calling me brother at least its a sign of good thing right?
Me: am Ozila and i was going to Afuze from Auchi with my friend but we
had an accident and then i found myself in this mysterious place.
He kept quiet for some minutes and then bend back to discuss with the
second man on his back, he then face me again and say "i think i know
how to get you back to your town".
Me: really oh thank you sir i really appreciate.
"you are welcome, come on join us let us ride to our place from there
i will show you the way to go" he said.
Me: alright thank you very much Sir.
"no problem, come on take my hand and join me" he gave me his hand
and i grab it and he assist me to climb his horse, i stay behind him as
the horse started moving slowly, i was happy that am going back to my
place and i even curse that mysterious girl called Murica for bringing
me to this god forsaken place, and talking about Murica our horse stop
and when i look front i saw her standing on our way

I dont know what she gave me but the thing started burning my throat
as if i drank fire, i cant pretend anymore so i cough out and situp,
she shift back looking at me mysteriously, i saw her and shift back
too.
Me: who the hell are you?
She was looking at me turning her eyes and bending her neck like a snake.
Me: who are you and were am i?
Girl: you are Ozila right?
Me: how did you know my name?
Girl: you know me in your dream?
Me: wait, what are you even talking, where is victor my friend?

Me: where am i?

probably wakeup, so i ran to river and jump inside, inside the river i
close my eyes so that i will wakeup but i started coughing and i cant
breath anymore, if am dreaming i would be awake by now but i was
determine to wakeup so i remain inside the river till i pass out.
I wokeup and feel somebody trying to revive me, i manage to open my
eyes only to see the mysterious Murica pressing my chest, i shift her
away as I cough and vomit lots of water, i look around again and said
"am still here?" i was so weak in that i rest my back on the ground
again thinking whats going.
"am sorry Ozila i told you you cant leave until you fulfil your destiny".
