Sixty Me: thank you, am really hungry. King: of course we have different food, which one do you want? We have arrow, sword knife and hot water choose your choice. Me: come on, I need this box. King: we had an agreement, we help you while you in turn leave the box for us, I don't know how you manage to get it out of that hole but am sorry to disappoint you, your little adventure have come to an end. Me: you can't stop me. King: more than this? Is there anything else you can do ? Me: even if you kill me someone else will come. King: nobody is obsess like you, I heard Eve brainwashed your friends so who is coming? Me: me. King: we have you already. Me: no this is an old version, am talking about the new me. King: what the hell is he talking about? They didn't understand me so all of them started laughing at me, I use rope to tie the box around my waist. “You want it come and get it” I said with confidence, I don't have my powers again I don't know if I die wether I will wakeup or not but at least I should try and I need to teach the scorpion King a lesson. The king send two guys first with sword, even though they have arrows on my head I still need to fight, the guys came with full force smashing everywhere with their sword, I just continue dodging them, they attack me the same time so I can't face one without the other hurting me, so I kept on dodging them looking for a way to strike, and that opportunity came when they charge at me at same time from different angles, one from the right and the other from the left, as they came closer with their sword pointing at me I jump up and then hold the golden lantern hung ontop the building, and they both jam themselves with their sword straight to their heart, I let go of the lantern and landed on both my feet, I walk to them and took their sword, i point my sword to the king and ask. “Who is next?” The king shook his head and then summon six men this time, I wonder why he is playing with me, if he really want me dead why not put an arrow on my heart, or maybe he want me to suffer,. The guys charge at me with full force, am good with sword so it didn't take time for me to kill them all but am getting weaker and weaker, I wonder how much longer I can hold, the king summon ten and also I defeat then, then he summon twenty men this time before they came to me one of the archers shoot me arrow on my leg, I shouted and as I wanted to fall I use one of the sword to support myself, as they came I took the sword and stand up I continue fighting them and then one of them cut me on my hand they surround me and took my sword, then they hold me and took me in front of the king. “Is that all?” Me: I will be back. King: I hope so, cut off his head let me see how he will return. One of the guard raised up his sword and as he wanted to cut off my head, something took him and hit him against the wall, we all look surprise to see him dead, and before they know it the thing took another person and hit him on the wall again, that's how pandemonium started. fourteen When I saw it all my body started and as I look at the one eye monster with the teeth gnashing at interval as if it's already salivating on the new meal he just caught. I remain on the ground looking at it when arrow came from nowhere and hit the Cyclop, the Cyclop turn to Murica with anger and ran to were she is, Murica tried to dodge the Cyclop but it was too late, the Cyclop flings her away to the forest with its gigantic hand, the horses ran away and them the Cyclop turn to me again, walking to were I am while I started shifting back, I brought out my sword and stood up, I press the button and the sword appear, the Cyclop saw and laugh evil laugh, then the Cyclop stand akimbo waiting for me, the Cyclop is big, ten times taller than me where will I even strike? The Cyclop used its finger to beckon on me to come, I remain were I was and position myself, then seeing that am not ready to strike first the Cyclop started running towards me with full force, I was afraid but I can't outrun the Cyclop so I remain there point the sword at the moving Cyclop, when it get closer he tried to punch me to the ground with his heavy hands but I bend down and roll on the ground to the other side of the road, before I regain myself the Cyclop swing his other hand, the blow took me off the ground and land me on the other side of the road, I feel weak and defeated, the Cyclop came to me and started laughing, he took my leg and started dragging me on the ground going to were I don't know,. As the Cyclop drag me from nowhere a big stone came from the forest and hit the Cyclop on the head, the Cyclop was off balance for a minute giving me the opportunity to run, I ran inside the bush and hide behind one tree, I look at the Cyclop and saw another stone land on his head, this time the Cyclop fell on the ground dead,. Some people came out from the bush, they dress rough like farmers and then after some seconds Murica came out too shaking them. |

thirteen Me: what's that? Murica: the one eye beast of course, hold on tight. I buckled up as Murica beckoned on the horses to move faster, the horses understand Murica very well because they increased their space and started running very fast, inside the carriage I look through the woods and saw the bush shaking, trees falling and the grasses giving way for whatever is inside there. “The cyclop is getting closer oh” I said trying to hide my fears. I don't know about Cyclops until now but I don't even know Cyclops exist I do watch one eyed beast movies in Auchi and I thought they are just superstition I never believed they are real, oh well here they are now chasing me to god knows were. The Cyclop chase us all the way to the road that lead to the village but instead of Murica to follow the road she instead turn to the place she saw me going to, the evil mountain. “What are you doing? that's not the road” I shouted but she just kept shut and keep on running, oh well she is familiar with the roads here so maybe she knows what she's doing so it's better I let her concentrate,. Am not even seeing the beast all I see are the bushes and trees falling, I wonder if it's a Cyclop really, As we continue running I wanted to look back so I brought my head out of the carriage and look back unfortunately our carriage hit a bump and the part were I was raised up a little there by throwing me out of the carriage, I fell on the ground heavily romancing the ground with my body, as Murica saw me on the ground she stop the horses at once and then a mighty beast jump out of the bush and land on my front. |

twelve Me: hmmmmm so the tunnel is block now how do we get in again? Murica: no need going back there we got what we came for already. Me: okay so let's start going. Murica: yeah. we stood up, walk to our carriage and started going back to the village, we ride in silence, I was thinking about how me that don't even know how to handle sword will help her defeat the Queen and bring back orderliness in the village, I don't have that kind of strength even with this magic sword, I just need to play along after all I accept her proposer already the ball is in her hands so she better make use of it well because if I fail I won't have any regrets, she dont even have any prove that she can return me to my own world. "what are you thinking?" she asked as she saw the sad look on my face. Me: nothing. Murica: don't tell me that with the look on ur face something is definitely going on in that little mind of yours. Me: my mind is not little, my mind is big abeg. Murica: oh sorry what are you thinking then? Me: oh well am thinking about the Queen and how to defeat the mountain men. Murica: you don't have to be afraid when I teach you how to handle the sword you will even be afraid of yourself. Me: afraid of myself, I hope not. Murica: let's get home first and then we relax and rest, the next day we will go inside town to see some friends before going inside the forest to visit my friends. Me: why don't we go and visit your friends first before going home? Murica: because we need to rest. Me: no time to rest I need to get home as early as possible. Murica: slow and steady wins the race, if we rush things we wont succeed, remember I have been waiting for you for many years now. Me: I just want everything to be over. Murica: just be patience. we continue gisting along the way not knowing we are already close to the forest were the one eye monster is, oh well the voice of the Cyclop brought us back to life. |
