BusinessCourt Grants Aiteo’s Benedict Peters Global Judgment In Rem by pa6472011(op): 3:04pm On Dec 19, 2017
The High Court sitting in the Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria has declared that earnings and assets accruing to Oil magnate and Aiteo Energy boss, Benedict Peters were acquired legally through legitimate sources. This follows a similar ruling squashing multiple money laundering charges and bribery of election officials indictment against Mr. Peters.

Justice Valentine Ashi made the findings on Thursday, 7th of December, 2017 whilst pronouncing judgment in proceedings tried before him challenging the provenance and legality of the ownership of assets and properties belonging to the Aiteo boss. There was no evidence to support the suggestion that any aspect of his business showed any criminal conduct and as such, the allegations were baseless. By proceedings in suit number FCT/HC/CV/ 0091/ 17, the Plaintiff, Moses Uyah alleged that Peters’ acquisition of a number of assets was fraudulent because he was unable to account for income or earnings from which such purchases could have been lawfully funded. In consequence, he asked the court not only to find that Peters’ acquisitions of the properties were illegitimate; that he was also living above his means and that the funds utilized for the purchases were the proceeds of corrupt as well as illegitimate dealings. Given the criminal acquisitions, he asked the court to forfeit the assets to the Federal Government.

Peters, in response, willingly produced to the court evidence to demonstrate his sound business practices over the past 25 years in the oil and gas industry. As well he provided evidence from financial institutions for funding raised over several years which allowed him to invest and conduct business that resulted to the considerable success of Aiteo Group.

Justice Ashi found that on said evidence produced to the court, Peters had established that he had a credible and verifiable means of livelihood; had substantial personal wealth to fund, did legitimately fund the acquisition of the properties identified in the proceedings and therefore could not be accused of living above his means. He established, in the proceedings, that there was no evidence to support the suggestion that any aspect of his business showed any criminal conduct and as such, the plaintiff’s allegations were baseless.

In dismissing the case, Justice Ashi ruled that the “said assets and properties and assets having been legitimately acquired by the defendant cannot be forfeited to the Government under any circumstances.”

The judge further ruled “restraining any person, security agency or authority from disturbing the defendant’s quiet enjoyment of his assets and properties having been found to be legitimately acquired.”

In upholding Peters evidence and contention, the learned judge found that there was no merit in the allegations of criminal conduct relied upon by Uyah and the case as a whole. In doing so, the judge observed: “…that in the absence of any specific offence and proof of commission of crime, the defendant legitimately and lawfully acquired the assets and properties, the subject matter of this suit…” The assets listed include 58 Harley House, Marylebone Road, London worth 2,800,000 million pounds, apartment 4, 5, Arlington Street, London worth 11,800,000 million pounds, Flat 5, 83-86, Prince Albert Road, London worth 3,750,000 million pounds and also other assets of Aiteo Energy Resources worth over $4.023billion. Also listed by and affected by the judgment are monies in Account No 105277 in FBN Bank (UK) in the name of Mr. B and Mrs. N. Peters, monies in Account No 107127 in FBN Bank (UK) of Walworth Properties Ltd, the sum of 36,674.7 pounds held on behalf of defendant in the client Account of Clyde and Co. LLP , London, the sum of 40,620 pounds held in the correspondent Bank Account at Ghana International Bank, London and shares in Walworth Properties Limited, Rosewood Investments and Colinwood Limited.
Business$115m Campaign Donation: Court Absolves Benedict Peters Of Complicity by pa6472011(op): 9:03pm On Dec 09, 2017
A high court of the federal capital territory has ruled that chairman of Aiteo Oil and Gas, Mr. Benedict Peters did not violate the Electoral Act following donations he made to political parties during 2015 general elections.
Justice Olukayode Adeniyi dismissed the suit filed by one Chief Akinmoju Jero who had  joined a businessman, Mr. Benedict  Peters and Northern Belt Oil and Gas Company of Nigeria Limited as defendants. Alleging that Mr. Peters, paid a bribe of $115million to electoral officers to influence the outcome of the 2015 Presidential election, Chief Jero had  sworn to affidavit  alleging  that the electoral officers who received the bribe have made confessional statements and have also had all their bank accounts blocked.
He also accused Mr. Peters of donating the sum of $60 million for the PDP campaign fund for the 2015 Presidential election which is far above the recommended amount of N1 million by the electoral act. In his response to the allegation, Peters denied giving bribe to electoral officials to influence the outcome of the elections. According to an affidavit deposed to by one Andrew Onyearu,  the 1st defendant, being a very wealthy man has donated to all political parties before the election and also to their candidates. In his judgement, Justice Adeniyi dismissed the case of the plaintiff for lacking in merit.
Justice Adeniyi held that “The online publication relied upon by the plaintiff is not admissible in law. The evidence is clearly unrelated to the allegation of bribery adduced in this case.
“I have not seen any concrete or factual basis by the plaintiff to support the allegation  made against the defendant in this case. The plaintiff has failed to show to the court that the money was donated to influence the outcome of the 2015 Presidential elections.

Main achievements in the field

Benedict Peters is a Nigerian entrepreneur and veteran businessman. He is the founder and CEO of Aiteo Group – a leading oil and gas company in West Africa. Throughout his long career, Peters has held executive roles in top Nigerian companies like MRS Oil, Gas Limited and Ocean and Oil Limited. Aside from his vast experience in the oil and gas industry, his professional background also includes commodity trading and banking. :

Background:

Benedict Peters was born in Nigeria on December 5th 1966. He grew up in a middle income family with his three brothers and two sisters. His father was a banker and his mother a homemaker. After completing his basic education at the Federal Government College of Enugu in 1983, Peters went on to study Geography and Regional Planning at the University of Benin. He graduated with a BA in 1989, after which he launched his career. In 2014 he joined Africa’s billionaires list with a reported net worth of more than $2.7 billion.

Early Career

Peters began his career in 1990 as founding partner of Ocean and Oil, a petroleum trading and exploration company. After four years with the company, which later became Oando, he moved on to become a managing partner at MRS, a leading downstream petroleum firm. In 1999, after gaining much knowledge and experience, Peters left to start his own company - the Aiteo Group - one of the most prominent downstream and upstream energy companies in West Africa.

Aiteo Group

Based in Lagos, Nigeria, Aiteo Group is a major player in the oil, gas and power industries. It was founded by Benedict Peters in 1999, and has been experiencing exponential growth ever since. In 2016 the company was trading petroleum products to the value of over $11 billion. After acquiring an 85% stake in the OML 29 block from Shell for $2.56 billion, Aiteo Group also secured the potential to hold as much as 300 million cubic feet of gas and 2.2 billion barrels of oil.

A Vision of Development and Growth

The Aiteo Group continues to grow and expand into new ventures in order to diversify the power services and resources it offers the local and global community. Peters uses an integrated business expansion model to incorporate all aspects of the Agribusiness sector into the company's work, including mining, extraction, processing, production, manufacturing and marketing. New projects include Petroleum Exploration and Production and Power Generation and Distribution.

Personal Life

Benedict Peters is a family man. He is married to Ella Peters and has four children. Peters is passionate about business management. Besides being interested in travelling to other areas and developing new initiatives, he is also interested in exploring his religion and listening to uplifting gospel music.
BusinessAll You Need To Know About Benedict Peters – Nigeria by pa6472011(op): 9:35am On Nov 24, 2017
I write quite a bit about leading energy figures in the oil and gas world in Nigeria. Last week I did a profile of Arthur Eze, the bombastic prince of Oranto's sprawling oil network. I don't believe that these visionaries get the credit they deserve so I want to make a point of drawing attention to the work they have done.

I also write about Aiteo Group quite a bit and I've enjoyed watching their emergence as an oil and gas powerhouse over recent years. At the top of the tree is the quiet emperor of Nigeria's oil and gas market, Aiteo's Executive Vice Chairman: Benedict Peters.

Benny Peters, or more formally Benedict Peters, is a very successful businessman, an innovative entrepreneur and one of the truest oil and gas industry pioneers that Nigeria has produced in recent years. Today, Benedict Peters is best known as the founder of the insurgent Nigerian energy conglomerate Aiteo Group, but he came from more humble origins than you might expect.

Benedict Peters is a deeply private man, so there isn't quite as thorough a biography of him as there are other Nigerian energy or commodities tycoons like Aliko Dangote or Arthur Eze. His personal website and Wikipedia page does tell us that he was born in Onicha Oloma in Delta State in 1966, but that's about as much as we know about his early life. Snippets of news elsewhere say that Benny Peters wasn't a rich man growing up and lived a modest home life in his youth.

A proud Nigerian, Benedict Peters wouldn't dream of beginning his education outside of his home nation, and enrolled at the University of Benin. His LinkedIn page tells us that in 1989 Benny graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Regional Planning. This is when his real story begins, sparking the first cinders in a career that would light up all Nigeria.

Benedict began various senior roles in banking, commodity trading and the Nigerian oil and gas industry but, like many Nigerians before him and many more today, he felt the call of entrepreneurship and wanted to be a self-made man. Some time in the mid-nineties Benedict became the co-founder of Ocean and Oil Limited, known today as Oando, another pretty successful petroleum exploration and trading company in Nigeria. Oando has itself found some favour in the business commentariat as an exciting ‘one to watch' in Nigeria, so it seems Benny's entrepreneurial spirit leaves some sort of a mark wherever he goes.

The real fun begins when, in 1999 after gaining quite a bit of experience in the global energy industry, Benedict Peters founded Sigmund Communecci, the company that, in time, would eventually become Aiteo Group. This is where Benedict really came into his own and recognised for the first time the potential of well run, well funded indigenous energy companies. Many of the values that Aiteo Group has lived out in its work today have their origins in the learnings of Benedict's time founding Sigmund Communecci. The company's primary focus the downstream sector.

The big move came in 2008. Whilst the global financial markets were quaking under the stress of the global financial crisis, Benedict was busy building and working and making ready his move. Aiteo Group launched the same year and has become a mainstay of the Nigerian oil and gas sector ever since. Building on the success of Sigmund Communecci, Benedict Peters decided to make Aiteo Group active in both upstream and downstream sectors of the Nigerian petroleum industry and the results have been quite astonishing.

Benedict Peters has been very careful to ensure that the foundation values of Aiteo Group are preserved, regardless of the stresses and strains of the market, regardless of the success of the business, and regardless of the opposition of some of the people Benny's vision is working to disrupt. The steadfast commitment to local producers, local technicians, local expertise and local marketing has created a company that is Nigerian in its bones. For a long time, that might have been a bad thing, but Benedict has turned that around. He is the living embodiment of all that Goodluck Jonathan's 2010 Local Content Act set out to achieve, and truly it is a vision that others could learn from.

The big coup for Aiteo Group came when Benedict led a consortium of smaller businesses, including Taleveras, to beat off serious competiton to the coveted OML 29 block just off Bonny in South South Nigeria. Why the competition? OML 29 is thought not only to be bounteous, but thought to be the most valuable oil block in all Nigeria. What's more, the true potential of the block had never been realised. It was a sleeping giant and Benedict was determined not just to wake him up, but put him to work! In May this year, Benedict realised that when Aiteo announced that they had broken almost 100,000 barrels per day at OML29. Even when Shell were at their most optimistic in the block, they were just about managing 30,000 bpd. 100,000 was the golden goose and it was singing for Aiteo.

Outside of Oil, Benedict Peters is also reasonably well known in the Agricultural sector in Nigeria. There was a time when Nigeria actually accounted for about 1% of global agricultural exports. It seems a long time ago now, especially when we consider that Nigeria imports most of its rice. This is perhaps where Benny is trying to work next: his other company, Joseph Agro Industries, is committed to growing new rice paddies in Nigeria and to training farmers to realise greater yields from the fields they work in. He's even set up a sort of exchange programme with China so that his Nigerian farmers can learn from the world's best rice farmers.

Benedict Peters is also very well known for his philanthropy. His commitment to Nigerian and its people has seen Benny involved with several philanthropic initiatives. Through Aiteo Group, he has provided a number of selective grants, donations and seed capital to local individuals and groups. Through the rice business, he has also worked to increase his investment in local society and founded the Joseph Agro Foundation in 2014 to improve the education and support for Nigerian rice farmers. Rightly, he has been named ‘CEO of the Year' by Leadership News Nigeria for his efforts both in Nigeria's infrastructure but also for the 12,000 plus jobs he's created for Nigeria.

Benny has kept a very low profile in recent months, only popping up to comment on a number of Aiteo's appointments for ambitious international growth, or to comment on Aiteo's bold sponsorship of the Nigerian Football Federation. Whatever you think of him, Aiteo is certainly one to watch and is keeping everyone on their toes, asking: whatever will Aiteo do next?! One thing we do know: it will be exciting.
PoliticsAnambra Election: APGA Thanks Buhari For Obiano’s Victory by pa6472011(op): 9:05pm On Nov 22, 2017
The National Publicity Secretary, All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Ifeatu Obi-Okoye, has attributed the flawless conduct of the November 18 governorship election in Anambra to President Muhammadu Buhari’s quest to build enduring institutions.

Mr. Obi-Okoye made the assertion in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, on Tuesday in Awka.

He said the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, could not have recorded such improved performance but for the free hand Buhari gave them to operate.

The official’s stance comes two days after a former National Chairman of APGA made a similar statement.

PREMIUM TIMES reported how Victor Umeh, who was also the director general of the Willie Obiano campaign organisation, also commended Mr. Buhari for the smooth conduct of the election.

On Tuesday, Mr. Obi-Okoye said Governor Willie Obiano’s second term victory was also because of the role played by security agencies before, during and after the election.

“I must commend the Police, Army, NSCDC and other security agencies for the role they played in the conduct of the election,’’ he told NAN.

“Even Obiano should not take glory for last Saturday’s election victory because the two major determinants of who wins or loses an electoral contest are INEC and the security agencies if they are allowed to do their jobs freely.

“Where you will not fault INEC in this election is that Presiding Officers did not write wrong results; the commission will further improve technically.

“Also, the credit must be given to security agencies for the critical role they played though their massive deployment discouraged some voters from participating.’’

The publicity secretary described the victory as not only for Anambra but also for the entire Igbo race in Nigeria.

“Before now, the problem of APGA being noticed as a party with national outlook was INEC, because of the way and manner they hitherto conducted elections.

“But now that it has significantly improved, APGA will take its rightful position.

“APGA also will emerge as one of Nigeria’s political party in 2019 to gain more states because we are the only party with a clear manifesto to save Nigeria from its woes,’’ he said.

Mr. Obiano won re-election, securing more than 50 per cent of the votes cast and winning in all the 21 local government areas of the state.
PoliticsAnambra Election: How Obiano Defeated PDP, APC – Adeyeye by pa6472011(op): 8:57pm On Nov 22, 2017
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lamented the defeat it suffered in the hands of APGA and its candidate cum Anambra Governor Willie Obiano.
He also revealed how the incumbent got high votes in the November 18 election.

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) returning officer, Prof. Zana Akpagu, the VC of University of Calabar (UNICAL) had declared Obiano winner having polled 234,071 votes.
In a press conference at the party secretariat Wednesday, the party through its National Publicity Secretary, Prince Dayo Adeyeye said PDP lost because of disunity among members.
His words: “I want to tell you that in the last Anambra election, majority of votes for the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) came from PDP. It is an unfortunate situation.
“But I believe that the next leadership of the party that will take over from us will have full time to look at at the Anambra matter and solve the problem once and for all.” Recall that on Tuesday, Imo state Governor, Rochas Okorocha, revealed why the All Progressives Congress (APC) lost the Anambra governorship election.
Okorocha spoke when he received leaders of the Democratic Youths Congress for Buhari 2019, at the Government House, Owerri.
PoliticsOn His Part, Mr Ojukwu Said His Decision To Join The APC Was Driven By His Belie by pa6472011(op): 8:50pm On Nov 22, 2017
By Omeiza Ajayi
ABUJA: The ruling All Progressives Congress APC has announced its decision to set up a committee to probe its failure in last Saturday’s governorship election in Anambra state.
National Chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun disclosed this Wednesday in Abuja when he formally received Mr Emeka Ojukwu, son of late Dim Chukwuemeka Ojukwu. consider that we have made a lot of gains inspite of not winning Anambra state. But it is clear if people interpret properly that the APC given the base from which we were starting, given the kind of intense propaganda that goes out there that the South East is against the APC – whether it is religion, ethnic or even historical – we have made some progress. But we are not resting on that. We are immediately setting up a team to study the elections, to look at whatever significant issues it has thrown up, to find ways in which we can improve our performance as we spread into the rest of the South East, basically to tell us what we did not do right in Anambra State which we need to correct as the electoral processes begin in the rest of the South East. We hope it will throw up valuable lessons that will help us perform much better in subsequent elections in the South East”, he said. He said Ojukwu’s entry into the party will be a major asset in the APC’s ongoing drive to mainstream the South East in the national governance and political decision making process in the APC.
Odigie-Oyegun said: “I thank you for choosing the APC, a family that is practical in its political orientation. It is significant that you chose the platform of the final rally at Akwa to make your very significant statement. I noted particularly the interpretation of your illustrious father’s interpretation of joining the NPN and the significance of being part of the Party’s decision making process such that for anybody who seeks to represent a large group, nationality of that nature, it is critical that he seeks to be where decisions that may affect his people are made. I hope the lesson went home, it is a lesson we will continue to propagate, particularly in the south east because we hold the region very dear”. On his part, Mr Ojukwu said his decision to join the APC was driven by his belief that the South East must occupy its rightful place in the national governance and the political decision making process of the country.
“I decided to lead by example. I have been talking about this for a while and I decided it was time to take the step forward. It is a challenge, there are some people that will not be happy about that, but you have to be bold, take a step and let people understand where you are coming from and why you are doing what you are doing.
“APC have been seen in our part of the country as the ‘other’ and I believe we are now showing that the APC is a Party that can contend equally with any other Party in the South East and do just as well. We now know that Igbo people are part of the APC, the APC are part of Igbo and Igbo are valued part of the Nigerian nation. We hit around the 25 per cent mark in terms of votes in the Anambra election which is not bad given where we are coming from. I think in the future, we are going to do a lot better”, he said.
Party stalwarts at the reception included its Deputy National Chairman (South), Engr. Segun Oni; National Vice Chairman (South-East), Hon. Emma Eneukwu; National Auditor, Chief (Dr.) George Moghalu and Chief of Staff to the APC National Chairman, Mr. Edwin Ikhinmwin.
Recall that Ojukwu jnr had earlier made his declaration in Awka at a rally for Tony Nwoye, the APC candidate for the November 18 Anambra governorship election.
PoliticsOseloka Obaze And Tony Nwoye Will Lose This Election. Take This To The Bank! by pa6472011(op): 5:42am On Nov 02, 2017
And the Winner is...

Oseloka Obaze and Tony Nwoye will lose this election. Take this to the bank!

Never in the history of Anambra State has any gubernatorial race produced three unequally matched candidates as this one. Barley two weeks to Election Day, it is hard to tell the difference between Oseloka Obaze and Tony Nwoye. Neither has risen above the echo to deliver either a memorable rhetoric or a dramatic rupture that could cause a scare in the camp of the ruling party. Neither has produced more than a few incoherent grunts. Neither has the charisma, the elan, the elegance of thought and language to sway fence-sitters to their side.

And sadly too, neither Nwoye nor Obaze has the oomph. Both are dour, colourless, befuddled and uninspiring. Obaze deserves more pity. He walks like a constipated man who has stayed too long in a toilet. And Nwoye is probably the ugliest man in Anambra State today; a strange mutant from Nsugbe, a land of beauty. A choice between the two is a choice between six and a half dozen. It leaves you with empty hands!

Outside of Governor Willie Obiano, the only sparkle in this race comes from Osita Chidoka. But he is in the wrong geopolitical zone and in the wrong party. Case closed! Even so, there is a growing feeling that Chidoka carries himself as one who is intensely aware of his good looks and overall effect on the women folk. So, his is a case of “over-do” or “notice-me.” What the Igbo call “onye nlecha.” Nlecha is seriousy frowned at in a man among the Igbo. There’s a silent understanding that political leadership requires more than good looks and cultivated manners. It calls for more grit than glamour. As the Igbo say, “mma nwoke nalu níyi mana mma nwanyi na ebutelu ya okwu.”

Chidoka’s excessive sense of self-worth is therefore out of place and out of time. Had Osita not taken himself too seriously, he would have realised that his candidature is rather absurd. Osita is from Anambra Central. The auguries favour only candidates from Anambra North at the moment. This is clearly understood. His resolve to forge ahead with a doomed ambition which everyone knows would crash, gives him away as a cheap attention seeker who is merely positioning for patronage.

In reality, of all the candidates lining out against Governor Willie Obiano, Oseloka Obaze cuts the most pathetic picture. After all the lavish praises heaped on him by his godfather’s two-for-a-kobo spinners, Obaze has become a captive of his own inordinate ambition; staying mute as a baby that is too scared of offending its angry mother. He is never heard at campaign rallies. It is not even certain that the rallies are his or a thinly disguised effort to shore up the flagging glory of his godfather. Obaze’s comments do not make the headlines. No quotable quote is credited to him. No sparkling slab of thought. He is not even allowed to fashion out his own economic blueprint. He was forced to accept his godfather’s primitive ANIDS as his panacea for the problems of the state. Obaze is everything that a gubernatorial candidate should never be. His godfather has totally eclipsed him. Sadly, two weeks to Election Day, Obaze has shown no signs of emerging from the thick shadow of Peter Obi. This has hardened the impression that he is a mere puppet on a string…Peter Obi’s 3rd Term shadow!

If Obaze is pathetic, Tony Nwoye is tragic. All the perfumes in Arabia cannot wash off the odium that clings to his name. That man is blamed for everything that is rotten and broken in Anambra State. His claims of innocence elicit only derisive laughter from people who know him closely. Nwoye’s profile reads like a long list of disaster. He wears this strange honour of being one of the few medical students who began the study of medicine in a prestigious school and then abruptly ended it in a backwater college. This leaves many gaps that only Nwoye can fill in. Again, while medical students are rarely involved in politics or activism due to the discipline in pursuing a medical degree, Nwoye was a stormy petrel in his college days with fingers in every pie. Worse still, he has no record of any serious medical practice after graduation. Rather, his name was whispered in circles where discussions centred on the shadowy arsonists who burned down public buildings and kidnapped a sitting governor some years ago.

And though Nwoye has made good and spruced himself up to become a federal lawmaker; he is reputed to be one of the mutest lawmakers in the lower legislative chamber; making little impression on any of his colleagues and appearing lost more than half of his entire time in the National Assembly. He is not known to have sponsored any important bills or raised his voice on burning issues concerning his constituency. Nwoye was content with making up the number.

It is therefore not surprising that Nwoye has had a most uneventful race to the Government House in Awka. As a candidate who fancies himself a representative of the youth, Nwoye has yet to articulate the dilemma of the Nigerian youth in a gerontocracy like Nigeria. Indeed, how can he? Nwoye is seriously handicapped. He is more brawn than brain. Nothing of weight has ever slipped through his mouth. When some less critical Nigerians were waiting to hear a new political language from a supposedly youthful candidate, Nwoye came out sounding like a fossilized dinosaur. He opened his campaign by calling governor Obiano a thief. If that is his strategy, it is bad one. Many people dismissed him with a wave of the hand after that goof. They concluded that he had nothing to offer.

Strangely, the final nail into Nwoye’s political coffin was hammered in by his godfather, Prince Engineer Arthur Eze. In one voluble moment, the multi-billionaire had described Nwoye as “a poor boy from a poor village” whom he wanted to make a governor. In one sentence, Prince Eze had practically destroyed whatever chances Nwoye had in the coming election. He did it by his boastful, brash and demeaning suggestion that he alone could plant Nwoye in the state house. In order words, he is the egocentric godfather who has no need for guile. In order words too, Ndi Anambra have no choice than to live with his cheeky imposition of this terribly flawed man as governor. Eze fancies himself the fairy godfather whose very words ought to be an enchantment to the ears of his hapless followers. It does not matter that his choice is widely seen as the very antithesis to everything that pulsates with life and colour. This godfather is bigger than the state. He is the chest-thumping political Alusi who must be obeyed.

What emerges from the above analysis is the imposing image of Governor Willie Obiano. It is crystal clear that Obiano’s immense personage looms over the Anambra horizon with the sound of victory echoing in the distance. What will not escape anyone who has followed Obiano’s first term in office is the fact that he started campaigning for his return early. In fact, much of the foundation for the success of Governor Obiano as we know it today was laid during his First 100 Days in Office. It is to his credit that none of the people challenging him has any clearly communicated Vision and Mission for Anambra State. Worse still, when people expected Oseloka Obaze to come up with a robust economic blueprint, he brandished Peter Obi’s discredited ANIDS as his magic wand for Anambra State. Similarly, Tony Nwoye has no economic plan whatsoever. The only thing Nwoye knows is that he wants power. As for what he would do with that power, the man has absolutely no clue.

From all indication, the next governor of Anambra State is already known to anyone with any ability to see. It is so clear that no one can miss it. And if we care to look in the mirror, we can see it. We can all see the Face of the Winner. We can all see Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano!
