Politics / Re: There Will Be No Biafra by paBuhari(m): 9:09pm On Sep 05, 2017
Freiden:
There will be no Biafra.

The world powers will not allow it.

Nigeria will not allow it.

Other ethnic groups been pulled along with them will not allow it. Without them, biafra will be a land locked country inside Nigeria.

The international law states that both parties have to be in agreement before separation.

Like Czechoslovakia and Sudan.

If a war starts as with Yugoslavia and the country is torn apart with foreign power backing like Kosovo, Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

In the case of Nigeria/ Biafra. The foreign powers are more in agreement that they do not want anything to destabilize Nigeria. It is not because they love Nigeria. More because it affects them drastically. Price of crude oil, unpaid loans, business will be severely affected even if there is a peaceful separation.

Let's examine the backers of Nigeria during the last attempt at Biafra.

Actively supported by NATO ( USA and UK)

By the Warsaw pact ( USSR, Bulgaria )

And all the rest indirectly.

Egypt, Syria and Algeria.

With exception of USA all had advicers on the ground and Egyptians and Algerians flew combat missions.

Since WWII the only conflict that had Americans British and Soviets on the same side.

How about now? The same just add China and other BRICS in the equation as they had already investigated a lot.

So has the EU.

So who backed Biafra last time.

France, Portugal and Spain. They were promised mining and crude oil exploration rights. I do not think they are in any position to abandon EU and go by themselves this time.

Apartheid South Africa and Rhodesia. Supported Biafra because Nigeria was their biggest enemy in Africa. They no longer exist.

Israel supported Biafra. I do not know their motive except that they were strong allies of South Africa.

So peacefully they can not separate. No one will let them

Violently again they will loss after millions have died. Nigeria will be heavily backed by the world powers.

They know that too, so why bother?

Here is a secret about Nigeria. Fastest way to be rich. Start an separatist movement or local uprising. The Government tends to pay them off. They usually retire in South Africa after been “settled” So Kanu, one of the main pushers for Biafia will soon vanish quietly after he becomes a real nuisance and the government gives him his pay off.

They are not the first and will not be the last.
This post was written after doing this... grin grin grin

Well, a Danite is here.
Nigeria obviously has problems. Our contention at DAN is that tribal hatred (ala NK), bigotry, and secession are not the answers. People will still seceed from Biafra for the same reasons. People will keep seceeding till they are back to their traditional villages.
Here is something I wtote earlier:
I agree with u. The current system does not suit a country like Nigeria and should be changed. But secession is not the answer at all. You are also right that Nigeria (Babangida, etc) copied what they thought was the US system, without copying the underlying mechanics that actually make the system work.
As for Northern resources, it is Igbos that have the acumen to move in and monetize them. That's why one Nigeria favors Igbos as much as, if not more.than any.other tribe.
Oh, in situstions where resources like oil is involved, the answer is no, there has to be war. See, if they let Igbos go, they have to ley the Delta and their oil go also, and that's a no.no

We are Danites - members of DAN (Detribalised Association of Nigeria)
To become a Danite you must be nominated by a Danite
You must also be against tribal bigotry and secession

Of course. They like to paint the fact that everything started with Nzeogwu's coup in 1966 but the truth is that tje massacre of Igbos had been an ongoing thing since 1945.

The reason why the federal government does not encourage the teaching of the history of the Biafran war is because if they did so, it would expose the evil and genocide commited against Igbos by the North. People would learn that far from being a war monger like Ojukwu is painted to be, Ojukwu did all he could to prevent war.

Exatly. Only those with something to hide will fear the teaching of history. The zoo called Nigeria has plenty of things to hide, that is why zoo govt doesn't allow history to be thought in schools.

Politics / Re: The Actions Taken By Nnamdi Kanu So Far, He Had Put An End To Biafra Forever! by paBuhari(m): 3:25pm On Sep 04, 2017
moninuola65:
The history of secessionists round the world, Kanu had put halt to agitation of Biafra forever, reasons:-
i. Disregard the Nigeria constitution!
ii. Endorse the external religious in struggle!
iii. Calling for No election in the whole region of SE/SS!

i.
Constitutional law
Most sovereign states do not recognize the right to self-determination through secession in their constitutions. Many expressly forbid it. However, there are several existing models of self-determination through greater autonomy and through secession.
The Supreme Court in Texas v. White held secession could occur "through revolution, or through consent of the States.

ii.
Azawad
The traditional homeland of the Tuareg peoples was divided up by the modern borders of Mali, Algeria and Niger. Numerous rebellions occurred over the decades, but in 2012 the Tuaregs succeeded in occupying their land and declaring the independence of Azawad. However, their movement was hijacked by the Islamist terrorist group Ansar Dine.

iii.
Eastern Ukraine
Similarly, there are reports that presidential elections in May 2014 were prevented from taking place in the two regions after armed gunmen took control of polling stations, kidnapped election officials, and stole lists of electors, thus denying the population the chance to express their will in a free, fair, and internationally recognised election

In these three scenarios kanu endorse judaism as Azawad deed that cost them the struggle of their independent!
Kanu ignore the Nigeria constitution that cost Texas their fight and strugle!
Also kanu call for no election as Eastern Ukraine!
Who were the legal advocate of Nnamdi kanu/ipob?
Who were their political advisers?
You can only expect this kind of rubbish post from people who do this... grin grin grin How is Judaism the problem of zoo govt

I was born into this country with the following notions:
1. Igbos don't go to school
2. Igbos like money too much
3. Igbos are not united and don't love themselves
4. Igbos don't have capable hands to lead Nigeria
5. Igbos are just the southeasterners
6. Igbos want south-south oil
7. Most Igbos do don't want biafra, it's just few of them shouting biafra

I grew up to discover the following:
1. Igbos are actually leading in education in Nigeria (most educated and highest number of school goers)
2. All human beings like money, thus the Bible confirms that money is the root of all evils (abacha, babangida, initial, atiku, buhari, obasanjo are not igbos, these are evidently the most current and money lovers in Nigeria)
3. Igbos are actually the most united in Nigeria, they fight in oneness, they have unique voting pattern, they can actually die for one of their own e.g kanu)
4. Igbos actually have the best hands to lead Nigeria, eg. The south east are leading in virtually all aspects of the economy - commerce, healthcare, education, etc)
5. Igbos spreads across south east to South South
6. Igbos are not even so much in oil business, they are more in transportation, manufacturing, importation etc, there is no significant presence of the igbos in oil business, Ifeanyi Uba is just recent in the business.
7. Most Igbos want biafra.
Manage this fried chicken and 3 cans of Origin cool body. Nice Post! cheesy Lies of the zoo will never last forever!!! cool

AWOisaCOWARD:
"Today, those who fought on the Nigerian side twist tales of the Biafran war, to sound like Nigerians were living in the proverbial garden of Eden, before Ojukwu just woke up from some malaria-induced dream and rushed to declare Biafra. They would never tell you how Igbos residing in the North, started falling victims to the vampiric spirit of our Arewa neighbours, as far back as 1945 in the Jos anti-Igbo pogrom, 15 solid years before Nigeria even got her Independence. Neither would they tell you all the number-less efforts Ojukwu made to get the Gowon-led government to halt the merciless butchery of Igbo civilians in the North.
And if they can't tell you any of these, how can you expect them to tell you that they were the ones who caused the moral tragedy that was the war, by violating the last minute Aburi-Accord that would have saved the situation?
How can a supposed Nation-state deliberately refuse to protect a people, and still stop them from taking measures to protect themselves?"

They give a blind eye to historical genocides against Igbos since the 1940s to hide their hypocrisy.

I will give u this same answer.
my brother. I recognize the gross injustice
against Igbos. Kanu and his IPOB crew has been
doing good in their manner of agitation and that
is a clear trap for anyone who will attack them
because them acting under the constitution are
becoming a fly on buhari's scrotum
but forming BSS will raise a security concern and
it's very unconstitutional especially if BSS uses
force on anybody, they are Liable to be treated
as criminals and the constitution would be right
at that, so please try to understand my stance
Why is it paining the zoo govt that Kanu formed BSS? How is BSS different from vigilante groups littered all over the zoo?

Same situation pasist in Nigerian customs where a particular region of Nigeria held sway.

Brigadier General Samuel Ango from the Nigerian Army was appointed Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service by former Head of State, late General Sani Abacha in 1994 from the Nigerian Army.

**Dr. Haliru Mohammed Bello was appointed Comptroller General of Customs from outside the service in 1988 by the military regime of former military president, General Ibrahim Babangida He is a veterinary doctor by profession. He was comptroller general of customs from 1988 to 1994.

**late Shehu Musa was appointed Comptroller General of Customs from the civil service in the 1970s. He was also the Secretary to the Government of the federation during the Shehu Shagari’s presidency.

The North is your sport. Obj was there for 8 years, Jonathan was for 5 - 6 years, and they had it so smooth. It was not a crime if they appoint anybody from any region, but for this man who's barely two years, his must be scrutinized.
.
Which is why I ask, is there a written law in the constitution that made it impossible for OBJ and GEJ (both southerners) to appoint Abuja ministers from the south?
