Subaru's logo references a cluster of stars in the constellation of Taurus
The six stars in the Subaru logo are a reference to Pleiades, a cluster of stars in the constellation of Taurus. Subaru is Taurus's Japanese name.

These six stars are especially easy to identify in the Japanese sky, and have guided travelers for generations.

Mazda is a brand obsessed with symbolism.

The name comes from Ahura Mazda, the god of wisdom, intelligence and harmony in early Asian civilizations. It also derives from the name of its founder, Jujiro Matsuda.

Its current logo was introduced in 1998. We'll let Mazda describe the symbolic complexity:

Capturing the spirit of Mazda, the stylised "M" evokes an image of wings in flight and symbolises the Mazda’s flight toward the future. The "V" in the centre of the "M" spreads out like an opening fan, representing the creativity, vitalty, flexibilty and passion that is Mazda. The symbol as a whole expresses the sharp, solid feeling that Mazda will be seeking in all of its products. The dynamic circle symbolises our readiness to spread our wings as we enter the 21st century.

HealthWays Technology Is Damaging Your Physical And Mental Health by packaging(op): 5:47pm On Oct 02, 2014
We're deeply dependant on technology, carrying our cell phones and laptops wherever we go. With the convenience it offers it's hard to consider the negative impact that technology has on our health. Here's how a smartphone addiction might do you more harm than you think:

Smartphone anxiety: Feeling stressed? Experts have found a link between cell phone usage and stress. People are constantly checking their phones to see if they've received a text message or an email, causing anxiety. Put your phone on silent mode or turn it off and check it only every few hours.

Acne: Your cell phone is always covered in bacteria that cause oils when your screen is placed against your face. This results in acne on your chin and neck. Use your speakerphone or a headset during long phone conversations.

Radiation Emission: Users absorb radiation emitted from their phones, but studies have yet to prove if the amount can be
damaging.

Motor Accidents: There's no denying how dangerous it can be to chat or text on your cell phone while drive. It reduces brain activity
and draws focus away from driving. Use a headset while driving, and always make sure to keep both hands on the steering wheel.

Back and neck pain: Leaning in to read small font sizes can strain your neck and hunching your back over your laptop cause back and neck pain. Always make sure to sit upright while using your laptop and place your table on a desk while reading.

Reduction of sperm count: Unfortunately for men, heat emitted from the laptop can kill sperm if kept on the lap for too long.

Headaches: You can strain your eyes if you stare at your computer screen for too long which causes migraines and blurry vision.

Sleeplessness: Melatonin is a hormone that helps us sleep. Keeping your laptop close to you can cause the artificial light from your
laptop screen to suppress the release of melatonin. Always switch off your laptop and keep it away from you when you sleep.

Accidents: There have been many cases of pedestrians dying while listening to loud music on their headphones and not hearing vehicle
horns. Unplug your headphones completely while crossing a road.

Hearing loss: Blasting music through your headphones can cause hearing impairment. Always keep the noise below 80 decibels.

PhonesThings Samsung's Galaxy S4 Can Do That Iphone 5S Can't by packaging(op): 6:24pm On Dec 24, 2013
Samsung and Apple are the two most profitable smartphone companies in the world. Together, they make practically 100% of all profits in mobile computing.

Right now the two giants each have a flagship device: The iPhone 5S and Samsung Galaxy S4. The Galaxy S4 is due for an update pretty soon, but it can still hold its own in many respects. In fact, there are a ton of things it can do that the iPhone 5S, the darling of the high-end smartphone industry, can't do.

It has a built-in infrared blaster that can be used as a universal remote to control your TV. (The IR blaster is that little black dot at the top of the phone.) The phone also has a special app that pulls in data from your cable or satellite provider and can suggest shows you may like to watch.
https://static4.businessinsider.com/image/5176a756ecad04642d000003-1200/it-has-a-built-in-infrared-blaster-that-can-be-used-as-a-universal-remote-to-control-your-tv-the-ir-blaster-is-that-little-black-dot-at-the-top-of-the-phone-the-phone-also-has-a-special-app-that-pulls-in-data-from-your-cable-or-satellite-provider-and-can-suggest-shows-you-may-like-to-watch.jpg

The Galaxy S4 is one of the only devices that can sync with Samsung's new smart watch, the Galaxy Gear.
https://static3.businessinsider.com/image/52b99a736bb3f7f16a0e547e-1200/the-galaxy-s4-is-one-of-the-only-devices-that-can-sync-with-samsungs-new-smart-watch-the-galaxy-gear.jpg

It has a near field communication (NFC) chip that lets your phone talk to other devices with NFC. This means you can use your phone to make mobile payments, swap content like photos between phones just by tapping them together, or pair your phone with a stereo with a tap.

You can add extra storage to your Galaxy S4 if you insert a standard Micro SD card. They're pretty cheap too. You can add an extra 32 GB of storage for about $20.
https://static4.businessinsider.com/image/5176a75c6bb3f7722a000002-1200/you-can-add-extra-storage-to-your-galaxy-s4-if-you-insert-a-standard-micro-sd-card-theyre-pretty-cheap-too-you-can-add-an-extra-32-gb-of-storage-for-about-20.jpg

It has a replaceable battery, which is a major benefit for some people. No smartphone has a perfect battery, so it's nice to have the option to replace it if you're running low on power.
https://static1.businessinsider.com/image/5176a75beab8ea6f4e000015-1200/it-has-a-replaceable-battery-which-is-a-major-benefit-for-some-people-no-smartphone-has-a-perfect-battery-so-its-nice-to-have-the-option-to-replace-it-if-youre-running-low-on-power.jpg

It can play full 1080p HD video, something the iPhone and many other top-tier smartphones still can't do.
https://static2.businessinsider.com/image/5176a7696bb3f7692a000005-1200/it-can-play-full-1080p-hd-video-something-the-iphone-and-many-other-top-tier-smartphones-still-cant-do.jpg

It has a 5-inch display, which is a full inch larger than the display on the iPhone 5S.

You can play games, share photos, and stream the same song with other Galaxy S4 phones wirelessly using an app called Group Play. The app connects you to other phones over a Wi-Fi connection. The iPhone 5S only lets you swap basic stuff like photos, links, and contact information.
https://static6.businessinsider.com/image/5192c5c6eab8ea5e58000010-1200/you-can-play-games-share-photos-and-stream-the-same-song-with-other-galaxy-s4-phones-wirelessly-using-an-app-called-group-play-the-app-connects-you-to-other-phones-over-a-wi-fi-connection-the-iphone-5s-only-lets-you-swap-basic-stuff-like-photos-links-and-contact-information.jpg

Its camera app has a lot of neat tricks. For example, you can automatically erase a blurry figure from the background or make your own animated GIFs. The iPhone 5S camera just has slow-motion video and some Instagram-like filters.

A feature called Smart Stay keeps your Galaxy S4's display lit while you're looking at it. It can detect your eyes using the front-facing camera. This is a very useful feature because it can prevent your screen from going dark while you're reading something.

It uses a standard micro USB plug to charge and sync with your computer. These plugs are much easier to find than Apple's special Lightning port on the iPhone 5S.

It can run two apps at the same time on the same screen

FIAT
Founded: 1899
Headquarter: Turin, Italy
The FIAT is an acronym for Fabbrica Italiana Automobili
Torino (Italian car factory of Turin), founded by a group of
investors. The current Fiat logo has the letters F-I-A-T
written with a silver line between each of them. The lines were
added by the company’s design chief when one day passing
under the factory, he noticed the sky at the backdrop of the
huge FIAT letters on the top of the building. The lines added
are the spaces he saw in the company’s name over the building
and decided to keep it.
Fiat was founded in Turin on July 12, 1899. The first plant,
inaugurated in 1900 at Corso Dante, had 235 employees and
produced 24 automobiles. The first automobile to bear the Fiat
brand name was a model 4 HP.

Ford
Founded: 1903
Headquarter: Dearborn, Michigan
The Ford oval trademark is one of the best-known corporate
symbols in the world and has been in regular use for more
than 50 years.
The script trademark dates back to the inception of the
company when Henry Ford’s engineering assistant developed a
stylised version of the words ‘Ford Motor Company’.
This last logo is the blue oval that Ford released in 2003 in
honour of the 100 years of the company. The logo was named
the ‘Centennial Blue Oval’.

Jeep
Founded: 1941
Headquarter: Toledo, Ohio, USA
The Jeep logo as it stands currently represents the front of
the vehicle. It consists of two circles representing the
headlights and vertical bars representing the grill in the front
of the car. The word Jeep runs on top of the logo. Jeep
started out as a military vehicle and was later considered a
Willys-Overland model, so it didn’t originally have a logo.
Probably the closest thing to a Jeep logo appeared in 1963 in
the centre of Wagoneer and Gladiator hubcaps and steering
wheels. The interesting thing about this logo is that never seen
on the car itself. The car just has the words ‘Jeep’ on it. The
logo is primarily used for advertising and marketing purposes

Renault
Founded: 1899
Headquarter: Boulogne-Billancourt, France
The first Renault logo designed in 1900 features the initials of
the three Renault brothers — Louis, Ferdinand and Marcek
drawn on a medallion.
In 1906, the company changed its logo to represent the front
end of a car enclosed in a gear wheel. In 1919, the company
replaced its logo with the image of a tank. In 1923, the
company replaced its tank logo with the Grille-shaped logo and
introduced the name of the car ‘Renault’ in its logo for the
first time. In 1925, the diamond replaced the circle and
Renault became the ‘diamond brand’ and is called the same
today. In 1946, the brand was nationalised becoming Regie
Nationale des Usines Renault.
This name is immediately added to the brand diamond, which
is now Yellow. The term ‘Regie Nationale’ was dropped in 1959.
In 1972, Renault modernised its logo. The designer, Victor
Vaserely redesigned the diamond in the shape of a dynamic
3-D diamond.
In 1992, the logo is enlarged and produced in relief, as part
of Renualt’s drive for progress, quality and innovation. In
2004, Renault presents a new interpretation of its logo, placed
on a warm yellow background. In 2007, Renault begins a wave
of 26 vehicle launches. The logo is currounded by a yellow
square — a symbol of quality.

Rolls Royce
Founded: 1906
Headquarter: Buckingham Gate, London
The Rolls Royce logo consisting of the two ‘R’s or the double R
clearly stands for the Rolls and Royce, two founders of this
car manufacturing company. In 1884 Frederick Henry Royce
started an electrical and mechanical business. He made his
first car, a ‘Royce’, in his Manchester factory in 1904.
He was introduced to Charles Stewart Rolls in a Manchester
hotel on the May 4 that year, and the pair agreed a deal
where Royce would manufacture cars, to be sold exclusively by
Rolls. A clause was added to the contract, stipulating the cars
would be called ‘Rolls-Royce’.
