Yes. So long you have verifiable funds in the account and can be proven you're married legit. I'm doing same with my wife. Using only my bank statement.

Please my WES status has been on IN PROGRESS for over a week now with a message that "We received your document(s). We are reviewing your document(s)" but i dont know which one they had receive. What should i do?

Once they finished reviewing your docs, they will accept it and it will be updated on your timeline. Nevertheless , you can request them via email to update documents status on your timeline. It will show the docs they've received and expecting. Hope this is helpful?!

Hi. I am a resident here in Dubai and what I know for sure is that the larger percentage of Taxi owners are locals. Recruitment is through RTA and as to how lucrative the business is, I'm very sure it is a profitable business despite the regular competition with Uber and the likes. 1. You guys will be married next month so why not just apply as a couple? If you want to go ahead and apply alone, do NOT apply as a single as that will be misrepresentation that can ruin your chances for PR. Instead, you can go as "spouse unaccompanying" but bear in mind that you will still have to show funds for you+wife, submit her PCC and then she'll go for a medical exam even if she's not going to Canada with you. Then you'd have to explain why she's not coming with you blah blah blah. All the wahala for spouse unaccompanied and then you go through the hassles of taking her over later? Mr. packaging, don't worry yourself at all. Just read up and explain to her the benefits of being a Canadian PR. When madam learns about the "packaging" Canada offers to PRs, it is highly likely that her job will suddenly become less time-consuming and she will jump ship from Dubai to Canada immediately .

2. No idea. Try to get a contact there/in Nigeria so you can get more info.

3. Depends on your score as the PA. Your age/work experience/academic degree/IELTS score would mean a lot here. If your points are not high enough, she might have to step in to write the IELTS to boost your score. Play around the CRS tool to simulate your scores which will help put things into perspective. I think you need to read this as well.

4. I hear it takes a year after you land as a PR and it's no easy feat bro. Better to add her to your application now.

1. Apply as a couple since you are getting married in May. Help her assess her documents and while you are preparing for your Ielts, carry her along.
Obviously you'd be the Principal applicant, so if she manages to score 6666 and you score 8777 and has 2 or more certificates, you are good to go.

3. No. She might not even asses her academic qualifications if you have 2 or more certificates and atleast 3 years work experience {please don't be above 31 Abi 32 }

4. It's possible but it's usually a long shot.

3) If you writing alone is enough to boost your CRS, then no need for her to write. But if your CRS is low she'll have to write but doesn't have to score as high as you.
4) Applying for her to later join you might be somewhat hectic. So I'll advise that if there's any chance of her changing her mind and deciding to join you, it's best you include her now.

Presently I’m a single guy and a resident in United Arab Emirate and I'll be getting married next month (May) God’s willing.

I’ve discussed with my fiancee who’s also a resident here in UAE but she doesn’t seem interested(her current job is time consuming) in the program. However, I’m 100% interested and I’ve started with the process of ECA and working towards IELTS since they’re independent of each other. I work in the UAE as a Real Estate Broker and I’ve checked in the NOC code 66232.

My questions are:
1. Can I be married and still apply single(without spouse)?
2. She finished from Fed. Poly Auchi, does anyone know the procedure for transcripts?
3. As the principal applicant, will much emphasis be placed on her IELTS performance?
4. If I continue the process alone and it ends positive, what are the chances of bringing her over?

I'll appreciate anyone’s contributions regarding my questions please.
