Religion / Re: Corruption In Nigeria: Even In Churches, Ushers Steal From Offerings – PFN Chief by packman: 5:09pm On Dec 19, 2014
IT HAPPENS EVERY WHERE THATS THE MOST REASON WE SHOULD STAND UP FOR REVOLUTION (NIGERIA)

Have you ever woken up with the thought of going out to work and you remembered that you are jobless?

Have you ever felt so thirsty that you felt like buying sachet water to drink and you find out you don’t have a penny?

Have you been so stranded that you had to trek a long distance in other for you to get home?

Have you been in a situation where your landlord wakes you up every morning for his rent?

Have you been in situation where the deadline for the payment of the school fees is close and you don’t have any hope of having to pay the fee?

Have you ever dropped out from school cause of lack of support and funds?

Have you ever been kicked out of your accommodation cause of lack of fund?

Have you been sick and you got no money to buy Paracetamol?

Have your PHCN ever given you a bill you knew you never used?

Have a policeman ever beaten you up for a crime you never committed?

Have you ever experienced an accident all because of bad roads?

Have you ever been intimidated seriously cause of your financial status?

Have you ever carried someone to the hospital at a point of emergency and the nurses refused to attend to the person because you don’t have any money to deposit?

Have you lost any golden opportunity because you are poor?

Have you ever been under the hot sun just to vote in a candidate only after voting for him you realize that all your effort was just wasted?

Have you been denied an opportunity all because you are poor?

Have you ever been deprived of your right?

Have you ever complained about Nigeria?

Have you ever like killing a political leader after getting to know the height of his corrupt practices?

Have you ever lived in a place for a year without making use of electricity?

Have you ever been so broke that wish you picked 5 Naira on the road?

Have you ever begged before?

Have you ever wished you were not a Nigerian?

Have you been deprived of an opportunity because you are a Nigerian?

Then if have gone through any of this situation, Then i think there is no reason why you should not STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHT AND FIGHT. Most countries that had revolution have never suffered one tenth of what we suffering today. Why don’t you abandon being a fanatic of your religion and stand up for the truth, The reason why Nigerians are being toiled with by our political leaders is because they know that an average Nigeria man would prefer to use the TERM “HE GO BETTER” and “GODS TIME IS THE BEST” to delude them self....

Life has more to offer that a piece of bread..... you where not born into this country by mistake... you were made for purpose don't let CORRUPTION THWART THAT PURPOSE.... STAND UP FOR REVOLUTION... STAND UP FOR THE TRUTH.... STAND UP FOR SURVIVAL....

please rebroadcast this message to thousands of Nigerians Out there!!!!!..... Share this to all your friends and love ones.....

Politics / Re: Reuben Abati Releases Wikileak's Secret Documents On Buhari by packman: 12:54am On Dec 19, 2014
menesheh:
Yesterday a Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President, Reuben Abati published in his Twitter the exposing information from Wikileaks about Buhari’s 1983-84 governing years.

The information is provided by the Public Library of United States Diplomacy through Wikileaks

Like President Obasanjo before the 1999 election, General Buhari’s political experience is limited to that of military Head of State. Buhari came to power as a result of a 1983 New Year’s Eve coup against the democratically elected Shehu Shagari. The eviction of Shagari came as a welcome relief as did Buhari’s promise to root out corruption. That relief, however, was short-lived as Nigerians watched despairingly as the Buhari regime’s promises to revive the economy and wipe out rampant corruption withered during 20 months of heavy-handed, largely ineffective rule.

In May 1984, Buhari ordered the brutal expulsion of 700,000 illegal immigrants from neighboring African states, jailed hundreds of political opponents and muzzled a once aggressive press. His loyalty to the military also came into question as he dismissed 30,000 soldiers as a cost-cutting measure. Buhari also soured Nigeria’s relations with Britain, when he was accused of masterminding a clumsy and unsuccessful attempt in July 1984 to kidnap President Shagari’s brother-in-law, former Transport Minister Umaru Dikko. Moreover, Buhari undermined traditional rulers throughout Nigeria, slashing their benefits and questioning their authority.

Religion is Peace Not War Episode 2

There never was a good war, or a bad peace.

BENJAMIN FRANKLIN, Poor Richard's Almanac

Any time scientists disagree, it's because we have insufficient data. Then we can agree on what kind of data to get; we get the data; and the data solves the problem. Either I'm right, or you're right, or we're both wrong. And we move on. That kind of conflict resolution does not exist in politics or religion.

Neil deGrasse Tyson

In order for us human beings to commit ourselves personally to the inhumanity of war, we find it necessary first to dehumanize our opponents, which is in itself a violation of the beliefs of all religions. Once we characterize our adversaries as beyond the scope of God's mercy and grace, their lives lose all value. We deny personal responsibility when we plant landmines and, days or years later, a stranger to us — often a child – is crippled or killed. From a great distance, we launch bombs or missiles with almost total impunity, and never want to know the number or identity of the victims.

JIMMY CARTER

In the long term we can hope that religion will change the nature of man and reduce conflict. But history is not encouraging in this respect. The bloodiest wars in history have been religious wars.
Richard M. Nixon

and with all this quote one would ask what am i to learn from this.....

1. Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to join another religion that differs from yours (truth and or not)

2. Have you made any research to find out what that religion you "hate" teaches...?

3. Do you have a Friend that his religion and believes are different from yours?

4. Have you ever being involved in a religious argument...?

5. Have you ever reasoned the tag "ONE GOD"....?

If you have then we all should understand the fact that whether you are CHRISTIAN OR A MUSLIM OR BUDDHIST WE ALL SERVE ONE GOD

VERSES FROM THE VARIOUS RELIGION THAT PREACHES PEACE:

The Prophet Muhammad (s) said: “Anybody who believes in Allah and the Last Day should not harm his neighbor, and anybody who believes in Allah and the Last Day should entertain his guest generously, and anybody who believes in Allah and the Last Day should talk what is good or keep quiet (i.e. abstain from all kinds of evil and dirty talk).“
——— Narrated by Abu Hurayrah, Sahih Al Bukhari, Vol: 8 Hadith 47.

JESUS:
Mark 12:31 - And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

The revolution stories of many are research I have been conducting for a long time coming up with the tag “REVOLUTION CRIES” gotten from my research on “her” (Nigeria), she is very beautiful with a lot of wealth belonging to her, she has made million mistakes and have gotten married to several men, all the men ended messing her up making a ridicule of her. They have used and dumped her, all her resources has been used up. And she has been abandoned, her children toiled with her belonging have all been looted. Her tears very bitter, she always put on sober mood as her condition is worsened on a daily basis. Her children are filled with fear and her with shame. They have taking to the street with no hope for the future. Their FEAR has eating them up as their pride and hope have been taken away from them. She has been stroked with so much fear by her husband and all the rights to her wealth have been ceased, she has been kicked out to the street by her husband hence, making her homeless, foreigners have spite her she found no love from her family and friends. All hope have been cut short, continuous gnashing of the teeth and hell on earth has been her daily routine. Nigeria is suffering drastically, fear and torment have been placed upon her shoulder Nigerians are unhappy people yet, still cover the sorrow with a deceitful smile pretending to be well to do of even at the cost of their life protecting nothing with a feeling of having something. Stand up Nigeria, Stand up for REVOLUTION. Stop protecting what you don’t have and what you can’t get (your life is not your own) STOP being contented in your fear and complaints. Why don’t we take that BOLD STEP breaking our silence to conquer our fear and make our common enemy (Corruption, Suffering,) retreat to the rare.

Fifty years ago, many Francophone African countries gained independence. Nigeria too separated from Britain in 1960. From 1960 to 1966, 46 of the continent’s 54 countries became sovereign. Else Engel and Stephanie von Hayek spoke with Salua Nour, a political scientist from Egypt, trying to find out whether there is much to celebrate 50 years later. [ Interview with Salua Nour ]
How was the mood in 1960 compared to 2010?

1960 was extremely symbolic. At the time, the elite engaged the people in political life with great enthusiasm. The motto was: “We’re fighting colonialism.” A lot of hope was raised; thousands of people were mobilized. The anti-colonial fight was a real source of energy. Fifty years later, the people have noticed that the independence process did not fulfil its promises.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT:-

What are we for fighting today? Is it not worst than colonialism, are our politicians and leaders not worst than our white taskmasters, and are they any development in the country compare to the era of our taskmasters?
