The 16months is not consecutive, it's 8 months in first year, summer break, then another 8 months then summer break

You can travel whenever you like. The TRV allows that. But to make your intentions bonafide you can pay up your tuition (that's if you've not paid before now), then present evidence of the payment at the POE. With that you will be allowed entry.

You can travel anytime within your visa validity, but better to be towards when you are to resume, to avoid rejection at the point of entry. As it is, it's still too early for september term

The visa states date of issue that was 22nd january 2015 to when it expires 31 August 2017. Because my course is two years. The one year guys will get one year respectively

Yes someone said something about CIC not writing duration of visa on passport, but that's not true nau.

I think off campus accommodation would be better for us because we are like Students of 2 Universities, that is why its called the Ottawa-Carleton Institute for Electrical and Computer Eng. I m sure you have figured that out. I read something on their website that an offer would be made around August and our move-in dates will be given to us via email.

Yea you are right, I'm number one on the waiting list for on-campus Accomodation sef, but I'm declining it. Off campus it is.

Naah. I have not, I got the passport request on the 26th. I did passport transmission since I don't stay in Lagos, It was delivered to VFS yesterday. So they will start processing it in VFS today, they will first of all check my payment then send it to Accra then back to me. Should get in on Friday by God's grace, I did for my parents and theirs took like 4 working days or so.

You said you will be travelling in July, are you sure they will allow you cross the border?

I know someone that was to resume january and went nov 1..anyway I should be fine. Make I know about your accomodation plans since Na same course and all

Please I don't think the police certificate is necessary anymore...I Ddnt and many of us Ddnt submit. Save yourself of extra cost and stress

Praise be to God Almighty. Just got my medical request, did upfront medicals though. Don't even know why they are sending a request. Has anyone experienced this before?. I applied on the 11th of December and did my bio on the 15th of December.

Yes I did, my friend that hasn't still has his application pending. No PP request yet for him

Its still same VfS just that they moved to lekki, I was there this morning it's not far from the gate at third round about..and you have to come back after until you get the mail to come

I and five others I know used telex copy and we all gt medicals. Don't waste time looking for something else If all you have is the telex. But my only comma is why Ddnt you just pay full not half..it can make the doubting VO just be reluctant

Telex copy is not an evidence of payment, you need to ask for a reciept from your school stating they have recieved your fund.

Lol, HIV, Other serious STDs like Hepatitis, Xray, don't know what else they checked for in the blood but I signed for them to take those tests and my blood and urine samples were taken. No I wasn't given the result instead it was sent to the embassy straight

pls i was informed dat when applyin for masters program in canada i need to get potential supervisors to include in my application.pls hw do i go about this process of finding a supervisor guys?..any ideas

If you are applying for Masc Yes, you might have to get a supervisor, but for MEng, you don't need one, or atleast not prior to your admission

Hello guys, just logged into my cic account now..and lo and behold Medical Passed! At this stage. They can like to request for passport anytime they like(As admission has been deferred to september).
Special thanks to everyone. It has been a long ride, not so easy(the wait and suspense) but eventually worth it. Glory be to God

sorry if I get u right three of you want to use one sponsor with 15m? Don't waste ur time , it's either one of u guys use it and travel to Canada then the other ones can wait for a while till the account smiles . The money is too small for the three of you to use.It's not advisable to take that risk . Just my opinion

Asiin..I wanted to talk but it would sound somehow, 15M is just okay for one person if the sponsor is not your father man
