CANOLA OIL is the “world’s healthiest cooking oil”
Actually, canola oil is the absolute worst oil you could possibly consume, ever, in the history of all edible oils. Canola oil coagulates over time, inside your body, causing severe inflammation and eventually dementia. How? Canola oil increases plaques in the brain – the hallmark of degenerative disease. Plus it makes you gain weight. Whether canola is “expeller pressed” or organic doesn’t really matter, because when this food “stuff” gets thick and gooey in your blood and cleansing organs, no prescription medication is going to save you from the inflammation invasion “authorized” by one of the biggest food slogan lies ever perpetuated on Americans. Watch exactly what happens when you fill an open container with canola oil and leave it outside for a month or two. No wonder food embedded with this stuff never spoils and the bugs won’t go anywhere near it!

hbot and psoriasis: Sorry for the afflicion. As you rightly said psoriasis is an inflamatory, autoimmune disease. This means the cause is systemic (from the inside), It is a more central issue of the blood.
Applying local treatment may work as long as it is locally applied. But improvement will stop and regress when treatment stops because it is a cosmetic treatment. For instance when a car alternator is overcharging (systemic or central problem) bulbs will burn out freequently and freequent changes are made (local action). There are many other drugs that may work but we think of side effects.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (hbot) is known to reduce inflamation, regulate the immune system and reduce the conflict between immune system and the skin cells in psoriasis. When psoriasis constitutes a major problem the use of hbot is indispensible because of the many advantages it brings.
The problem that causes psoriasis can also cause other more serious issues than psoriasis (so how many and how long manpikin wan to dey rubrub skin with orishirishi? ) What causes psoriasis can/will also affect the joints, the heart, sugar levels, kidney, cause cancers, cause gastrointestinal issues, psychiatric disorders (depression) etc. One treatment than can prevent any or all of the co-morbid conditions in psoriasis is hbot. HBOT comes with improved blood flow and increased oxygen saturation in the body. Under this condition a lot of benefits can be derived. These benefits can prevent or significantly reduce damages that can result from inflamatory, genetic, enviromental conditions, viral, bacterial and autoimmune diseases.

I would like to know what people who have this skin condition has done to manage theirs effectively.

I can remember vividly when I was still a kid, I used to scratch off some scales from my ears and i ended up having sores. fast forward to my teenage years, I noticed some little dots right in the middle of my chest and by then I had dandruff on my scalp which is a clear symptom of psoriasis. I tried many hair creams but I didn't work. I started applying olive oil on my scalp and i would say it has greatly helped me deal with the dandruff on my scalp.

6 Yemeni Democracy
In 1993, Yemen became the first country in the Arabian peninsula to hold multiparty elections under universal suffrage. Fifty women competed, and two won seats. Since then, the recently deceased President Saleh’s party—the General People’s Congress—has come to dominate the political scene.
The next parliamentary elections, which were due in 2009, have been postponed twice. In 1999, Saleh was directly elected as president for the first time. He competed against an obscure member of his own party, paid his opponent’s election expenses, and won with 96.3 percent of the vote.
5 The Worst Place To Live As A Woman
It is not easy being a Yemeni woman. Beyond the oppression of women that is inherent in Islam, there are socioeconomic and cultural factors at play as well. Twenty-four percent of Yemeni women have suffered female genital mutilation (as many as 69 percent in coastal areas), and only one-third of all women in the country are literate (although some literacy estimates are higher).
According to the UN, half of Yemeni girls are married before they are 18 and 15 percent are wed before they are 15. Within their marriages, Yemeni women do not have equal rights to custody, divorce, or inheritance. They also require a husband or father’s permission to travel or get a passport.
Legislation was in the process of ratification in the Yemeni parliament. But, you guessed it, the war put paid to the bill and halted the long process of changing the cultural norm of slicing up your daughter’s vagina.
If anyone stands to gain from the complete reformation of Yemeni society, it is the women—provided that the reformation is not a plunge into more extreme and darker interpretations of
Islam and the role of women in society.
4 The ‘Manhattan Of The Desert’ Features Mud Skyscrapers
How tall do you think the tallest building you could build from mud would be?
It is probably not 11 stories tall like some buildings in the Yemeni city of Shibam are. More to the point, Shibam has had skyscrapers like these for 500 years, when most Western countries were still struggling with not dying from dirty water . Shibam was listed as a World Heritage Site in Danger when, you guessed it, the civil war broke out.
Still, it’s not just Saudi Arabia, Al-Qaeda, and ISIS who are a threat to this bizarrely beautiful town of 7,000 people. Erosion and typhoon weather systems are an ever-present danger to the mud bricks and foundations, necessitating constant maintenance.
The style of building itself was developed to protect inhabitants from attacks by the Bedouin. So not much has changed except that the Bedouin are now flying F-16s.
3 Sunni-Shia Axis: Swinging Between Tolerance And War
The majority of Yemen’s population is Muslim , but it is split into various branches of Islam—mainly Sunni or Zaidi Shia. The divisions between the Sunnis and the Shia are based on a long-running religious conflict that started as a dispute about the Prophet Muhammad’s successor.
While Shia Muslims believe that the prophet’s cousin should have filled the role, Sunnis support the choice of Muhammad’s close friend and adviser, Abu Bakr, as the first caliph of the Islamic nation.
Unlike most places in the Arabian Peninsula, Yemen has historically been quite a tolerant place for other religions —even with the split between Sunni and Zaidi Shia being a point of contention during times of war. For example, though all Houthis are Zaidis, not all Zaidis are Houthi. So the tribe does not speak for the whole religion, and vice versa.
When tribal politics does come to the fore, religion apparently takes a step back.
2 Tribalism Is Overstated
The recent conflict in Yemen has highlighted the role of tribal combatants, which is an error according to the prominent Yemeni political analyst Abdul Ghani al-Iryani. He argued in 2011 that Westerners overestimate the role of
tribes in Yemeni politics.
“I define tribal as being those whose primary identification is tribal, i.e., if the sheik calls them to war, they come to his aid. And that applies to about 20 percent of the population. The other 80 percent are either urban or peasants, and they are non-tribal.”
What does this mean? Beyond the conflict between the Houthis and the Yemeni government are a great many people who would like to be left alone and not be bombed. By and large, the tribal folk have suffered historically from being ineffective fighters when faced with competent opponents. Yet, they are quite adroit at guerrilla warfare .
Perhaps this mismatch of skills is a reason why the civil war is still ongoing, with the government not quite able to pin down and finish off the tribal warriors.
1 The Only Way To Get High Is By Chewing Leaves And Everyone Does It
Ninety percent of men and 1 in 4 women in Yemen are estimated to chew khat leaves, which leads to a quite startling experience for the newcomer. Imagine setting foot in Yemen and then realizing that most people have a mouth full of leaves.
Saliva breaks down the cells of the plant and releases what is in effect a mild amphetamine into their bloodstreams. “Khat is alcohol for Muslims,” says the head merchant at the khat market, where bags are sold for US$5 for a daily supply.
Khat is, therefore, an expensive addiction in a country where 45 percent of people lived below the poverty line before the war, which has led to serious food shortages. With most families spending as much on khat as on food, most of the arable land in Yemen has been turned over to khat cultivation. Although this produced more revenue than crops alone, it proved to be a serious problem when the violence began.

7 The Queen Of Sheba Was Possibly Yemeni—If She Existed At All
According to the Quran , the queen of Sheba (“Saba” in the book) lived in Yemen around the 10th century before Christ. King Solomon invited her to visit him and convert to Judaism, which as a strict Sun- and Moon-worshiping kind of gal perplexed the queen greatly.
In a verbatim transcription of what actually happened, the story tells us that Solomon used a djinn to transport Bilqis—for that was her name—and her throne all the way from Yemen in a trice.
There is another possible claimant on the throne of Sheba from the period when Queen Makeda from the city of Axum went to see Solomon. Being a particularly sexy Jewish king, he impregnated her on the spot, giving rise to the lineage of Solomonid kings that ended with the Haile Selassie (of Rastafarianism fame) in 1974.
Still, this story ends up in Ethiopia rather than Yemen, though both modern countries were part of the same empire at the time and still share cultural similarities to this day

8 The Only Arab Communist Country
Communism and Islam make unlikely but surprisingly common bedfellows. Once the tutelage of Messieurs Marx and Engels has been shorn of that inconvenient exhortation to atheism, many groups across the Middle East have taken a stab at using the immortal science in conjunction with the faith.
It is admittedly a very hard sell. Still, communists in South Yemen actually pulled off a government for around two decades until the country unified.
Not being able to exert control over the reunified Yemeni people, the socialists decided to have a civil war instead in 1994. This war, fought against that old dog Saleh, was a terrible idea.
Not only was Saleh backed by the Americans (who can always be relied on to arm people fighting communists), but this war took place where the only communist allies the South Yemenis could call on were Cuba and North Korea. Both gave their verbal solidarity against the imperialists.
A few months and 6,000 or so dead communists later, President Saleh had a peaceful and unified nation—for a little while.

9 Proxy War Agogo
We mentioned the proxy war already, but it bears digging into exactly who is fighting whom. While on the surface one could consider the Yemen conflict to be a primarily sectarian one of Sunni versus Shia, Saudi versus Iranian , the real picture is far more complex.
Many Sunni Yemenis actually sided with the Houthi rebels, so narked off with the post–Arab Spring fiasco were they. Complicating matters are those cheeky lads from Al-Qaeda in the Arab Peninsula (AQAP) who are desperate to show that they are just as good at suicide bombing as any 15-year-old ISIS recruit.
Oh, did we mention that ISIS is involved, too? ISIS is involved. Joy.
So on the one side, you have the Houthis, whose battle standard bears their motto: “God is great, death to America, death to Israel, God curse the Jews. Victory for Islam.” On the other side, you have AQAP, who don’t do so well with the snappy slogans but did blow up the USS
Cole in 2000.
They have the backing of various Sunni interests in the Middle East but not the Sunnis in Saudi Arabia, whom AQAP want to kill quite a lot. The Houthis also want to kill the Saudis. But despite shooting missiles at Riyadh, they have been unsuccessful so far.
On the other-other side stand the Yemeni government forces backed by Morocco, Jordan, the USA, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, and the myriad government-allied tribes who are—for the moment—interested in killing the Houthis.
Basically, trust no one and do not go to Yemen right now.

10. President For Life . . . Until Death
The permanently resident President Ali Abdullah Saleh became a permanent resident of a grave plot in December 2017. After being forced from the throne he had occupied for 33 years during the 2011 Arab Spring , Saleh desperately wanted his job back. After all, he could have kept the job for life, in theory.
To reclaim power, Saleh decided to join up with the Iranian-backed Houthi rebels against whom he had fought six wars—and it worked, for a while. His successor was forced to flee to Saudi Arabia, and for a short time, things were quite good for Saleh. He once described his job as “dancing upon the heads of snakes.”
Then, of course, he remembered that the Houthis are completely barking mad tribesmen who kill for fun and are high on khat all day. Saleh realized that he was right to try and kill every last mother’s son after all—and called the Saudis back in.
The Houthis took exception to being jilted like an ugly pregnant bride at a shotgun wedding with all the grace you would expect from high people with AK-47s. They hunted Saleh down as he tried to escape and shot him to death. So passed the first—and to date, the only—democratically elected president of Yemen.

What was Bob Marley’s favorite country?
Yemen ! It’s funnier if you say it out loud while stoned. Trust me.
Yemen is an ancient country on the very southernmost edge of the Arabian Peninsula, bordering Saudi Arabia, unsurprisingly. The land has changed hands dozens of times over the centuries as empires wax and wane.
Even today, it is the site of a vicious turf war between the Sunnis of Riyadh and the Shia of Tehran. Add to this the many different religious sects and tribal loyalties, and you can see why Yemen has what can only be described as one of the most complicated political histories on the planet.

3. Cellulose (wood pulp) – From sauces to ice cream to almond “milk” you may find out you’re sucking back some reduced wood pulp from “trees” instead of food, and it’s all deemed “safe for consumption” by the FDA and allowed in organic foods, with no maximum limit, of course. When searching ingredients lists (as you always should), check under “other ingredients.” Cellulose is a cheap filler with no nutritional value, that’s also used in plastics, construction materials, roof coatings and even asphalt.

#4. Rennet – Curdled milk from the stomach lining of a slaughtered, newly born calves – Often contains fungal and bacterial sources and genetically modified micro-organisms that still make it through the “organic certified” process and verification.

#5. Chlorine materials – Thanks to mass confusion about these, including chlorine bleach, dangerous chlorines used to disinfect and sterilize tools, equipment, and hard surfaces, come into direct contact with organic food, crops and livestock.

#6. Ammonium carbonate – (a.k.a. baker’s ammonia or hatshorn) Classified as a hazardous substance by the EPA and the DOT – this white or colorless powder is a respiratory irritant that’s often used as a “food grade” leavening agent for breads and cookies.

#7. Heavy metal toxins – Lead, aluminum, cadmium, mercury, nickel, copper and tungsten are the top food “criminals” found in many organic foods, especially those imported from China. Heavy metal toxins also invade tap water, children’s medicines, vaccines, flu shots, and the cosmetics industry. Currently, the USDA does NOT test for heavy metal toxins at all in “certified organic” foods. That is an atrocity in itself. The EPA could not care less about people drinking tap water contaminated with lead. Did you read about the massive scandal in Flint, Michigan a couple years back? Children were poisoned to death and the EPA looked the other way, knowing good and well what was going on. Want “organic” water? You better buy a Big Berkey home filtration system so you can filter out all the typical toxins found in tap and bottled water.

The result? If you’re not dying of cancer, dementia, diabetes or heart disease, it’s because you’re a smart shopper, who knows that some products and brands that sport the label “organic” aren’t safe for consumption at all, but quite the opposite. Know this: The USDA, FDA (toxic food and drug advocates), CDC, EPA – they are NOT on our side. Those regulatory agencies are in bed with Monsanto (now owned by Bayer), Merck, Dupont, Dow, Pfizer, Syngenta, and the rest of the food and medicine destroyers of our time. It’s all one big business that thrives off Americans getting sick, staying sick, and dying slowly and expensively.

If you don’t want to be a dirty “human” filter suffering from vital organ malfunction and mutated cell frenzy (cancer), then it’s time to become privy to the real clean food movement, and that includes water, natural medicine, and supplements too.

HealthSouth African Firm Begins Sale Of ‘insect Milk’ by Pakman(op): 5:12pm On May 30, 2018
A South African company has begun selling what it calls “Entomilk ”, a special milk made from farmed insects .

“Think of Entomilk as a sustainable , nature -friendly , nutritious, lactose free , delicious , guilt -free dairy alternative of the future , ” Gourmet Grubb said on its website .
According to the company, one of the most pivotal benefits of Entomilk is that it has a high protein content and is rich in minerals such as iron , zinc and calcium.

Entomilk entered the market two years after the debut of the so -called “cockroach milk ,” a milk made from the viviparous cockroach named Diploptera punctata .

This particular kind of cockroach , which is usually found on Pacific islands like Hawaii , is the only known cockroach that gives birth to their babies, as opposed to laying eggs .

Their milk is a crystal of proteins, fats and sugars , which are important for the growth of baby cockroaches .

A study carried out by Indian researchers in 2016 found that the cockroach milk is estimated to contain over three times the energy of the equivalent mass of cow milk .
However , scientists did not expect the cockroach milk to be found in supermarkets anytime soon . Besides its unappealing name , it’ s also unclear if the milk is safe to consume .
“We have no evidence that it is actually safe for human consumption ,” said Subramanian Ramaswamy , the lead author of the 2016 study .

Dogs have a long history of being man’s best friend. But the story of a Newburyport Police Department officer and her blind dog from Massachusetts, doesn’t merely prove the bond between owner and pet but also proves that dogs are great at detecting illnesses.
Police officer Megan Tierney was reportedly at home with Dude, her blind border collie/Australian shepherd mix, when he started acting a little strange. According to her, she was lying in bed when Dude suddenly became focused on her chest area, placing a paw on her.

Tierney turned her attention on the spot Dude was touching and noticed a tissue swell. But to her surprise, a trip to the doctor confirmed that she has stage two triple negative invasive ductal breast cancer. And although finding out you have cancer is never an easy thing to swallow, the police officer said, “Dude found the lump, and we were never so happy because it just meant that we could get it where it was, rather than not knowing.”

It is known that dogs have a more heightened sense of smell compared to humans. Dude, being a blind dog, has greatly enhanced this particular sense which helped him detect the illness of his owner. Moreover, canines’ olfactory bulbs have 220 million scent receptors; 195 million more than that of humans.

According to dog-cognition researcher Alexandra Horowitz from Barnard College, dogs can smell odors in parts per trillion. For example, in a million gallons of water, dogs can detect if a teaspoon sugar was mixed into the water. This means their smelling abilities are 100,000 times better than ours.

HealthFoods That Can Help Fight High Blood Pressure by Pakman(op): 8:10pm On Apr 16, 2018
If you or someone you love has high blood pressure, eat more of the foods below:

Bananas – This fruit contains potassium, and fresh produce is a better source of potassium than supplements.

Beets – Beets are full of nitric oxide that can help open the blood vessels and lower blood pressure. You can make juice from beets, or you can cook and eat the whole root.

Berries – Blueberries are rich in natural compounds called flavonoids. These compounds can help prevent hypertension and lower blood pressure. Other sources of flavonoids include raspberries and strawberries.

Dark chocolate – This healthy treat is linked to a lower risk for cardiovascular disease (CVD). Eat at least 100 grams of dark chocolate daily to help lower your risk of CVD.

Garlic – Garlic can help minimize hypertension by increasing the amount of nitric oxide in the body.
Herbs – Herbs are a healthy substitute for salt if you love eating flavorful dishes. Sources include basil, cinnamon, rosemary, and thyme.

Olive oil – Olive oil is a healthy fat, and it is rich in polyphenols, the inflammation-fighting compounds that can help lower blood pressure. Additionally, this healthy fat is an excellent alternative to butter, canola oil, or commercial salad dressing.

Pomegranates – According to a study, consuming a cup of pomegranate juice once a day for at least four weeks can help lower blood pressure. However, before you buy pomegranate juice check the packaging. Added sugars can negate the health benefits of pomegranate juice.

Leafy greens – Leafy greens are another great source of potassium which helps the kidneys eliminate more sodium through urine. This then lowers your blood pressure. Sources include arugula, beet greens, collard greens, kale, romaine lettuce, spinach, Swiss chard, and turnip greens.
HealthAn Army Of Hunter Killer Robots That Will Murder Humanity by Pakman(op): 10:29am On Apr 11, 2018
As technology continues to advance, the gap between science fiction and reality becomes smaller and smaller.
Just like something straight out of a post-apocalyptic horror film, scientists are now concerned that an Artificial Intelligence robot army that is currently being developed by a top South Korean university could potentially wipe out all of humanity.

In February of this year, KAIST University allegedly launched a brand new AI weapons lab, which has thus far led dozens of researchers to believe that the technology being developed there will “have the potential to be weapons of terror.”

One of these researchers is Toby Walsh, a professor at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, who argued in an open letter: “If developed, autonomous weapons will… permit war to be fought faster and at a scale great than ever before. They will have the potential to be weapons of terror.” While Professor Walsh did acknowledge that there are many good uses for robotics and Artificial Intelligence within the military, KAIST shouldn’t be able to decide “who lives or dies.”

Still, KAIST claims that they have “no intention to engage in development of lethal autonomous weapons systems and killer robots.” (Related: Scientists are now calling for a ban on “killer robots” that can carry explosives while remaining undetected.)

Even though this new AI weapons lab at KAIST University seems to have more in common with science fiction than anything else, the fact of the matter is that Artificial Intelligence is starting to become quite common, especially as it pertains to the military. Just days ago, it was reported that China is now testing unmanned tanks that can potentially be used with artificial intelligence-based systems.

As reported by The Telegraph: “The Chinese state broadcaster CCTV revealed a brief clip of an ageing Type-59 tank fitted with new remote control technology and seemingly being driven by a soldier sitting at a nearby control deck.” The Telegraph also reported that, according to state media, the Chinese military was currently looking for ways to link tanks to aircraft and satellites in order to get them to perform in a quicker and more lethal way than when they are driven and operated by humans. (Related: Japanese researchers have created a mind-reading AI system that can transcribe a person’s thoughts.)

But it’s not just South Korea and China that are looking to develop new Artificial Intelligence technologies. In the United States, many military individuals support the idea of using robotic vehicles and Artificial Intelligence out on the battlefield to fight alongside human soldiers.

Speaking at an Association of the United States Army’s Institute of Land Warfare breakfast earlier this year, the U.S. Army’s Chief of Staff, Gen. Mark Milley, explained that his vision for the future of warfare depends on robotics, artificial intelligence and other technologies that don’t exist yet. Milley argued that the service currently faces the challenge of modernizing its major weapon systems that are becoming obsolete: “If we, the United States military, do not recognize the need for change, and if we do not adapt and pivot to that change then, in my mind, that will be a grave strategic mistake,” he said.

No matter which way you look at it, the fact of the matter is that our world is quickly moving away from more traditional technologies into an era of artificial intelligence and advanced weaponry. While this technology can certainly be useful out on the battlefield, the concern that artificial intelligence can become too advanced and even uncontrollable is certainly a legitimate one. If we’re not careful, then at some point in the future, the very technology that we use to our advantage could become our worst enemy
HealthReasons Why Trees Are Important In The City by Pakman(op): 10:18am On Apr 11, 2018
Increasing urban biodiversity – Trees play an important role in increasing urban biodiversity, which provides plants and animals with a favorable habitat, food, and protection.

Reducing pollution – Trees absorb carbon dioxide, mitigating pollution. Trees are especially important in cities with high levels of pollution as they can improve air quality in the area.

Cooling the air – When trees in the cities are strategically placed, they can help cool the air between two and eight degrees Celsius, which in turn reduce the heat around urban communities.

Filtering the air – Trees, especially the large ones, serve as air filters. They absorb pollutants, such as carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, ozone, and sulfur oxides, as well as fine particulates, such as dust, dirt, and smoke. They filter the air by trapping pollutants and fine particulates on their leaves and bark.

Improving physical and mental health – Studies showed that living near urban green spaces and having access to them can enhance both physical and mental health by reducing blood pressure and stress. In turn, this contributes to the well-being of urban communities.
Health5 Diseases You Can Get From Your Pet by Pakman(op): 10:05am On Apr 11, 2018
Who can resist a puppy that snuggles up to you when you get home after a long day, or a dog who wags its tail when you pass by? Dogs — and other pets — can be a man’s best friend. But sometimes, that furry delight may pose health threats you never knew existed. Your pet dog, cat and fish may carry viruses that can infect you, its owner, or your loved ones.
Here’s a five such diseases to look out for: (h/t TheConversation.com.)

Rabies — People — especially children — catch this dreaded virus when an infected dog bites them.
Ringworm — This is not a worm at all but a microscopic fungus related to athlete’s foot. Affected animals may show very few symptoms. The usual sign is circular areas of hair loss. The affected area gets scaly, flaky and itchy. Ringworm is easily cured, but can cause scarring.
Salmonella — These bacteria can live in the intestines of pets and rarely affect their human owners. But when they do, the effect is severe. Most infections lead to gastroenteritis, and some cause typhoid fever. Dogs and cats with salmonella can infect people with diarrhea fever and abdominal cramps. The bacteria is usually present in pet reptiles and amphibians, as well as “feeder mice” fed to pet reptiles. That’s why it’s always important to wash your hands after handling pets and pet food. It’s just as important to prepare raw animal food and human food separately.
Toxoplasma — This cat parasite is found in the feline’s feces. Pregnant women who get infected with toxoplasma may — however rarely — pass on the acute complications to their unborn babies. Pregnant women should wash their hands often and avoid cat litter trays, especially those that are not cleaned regularly. They should also stay away from uncooked garden produce where cats may have spent time on the soil.
Bites and scratches — Children usually fall victim to bites and scratches which, unfortunately, can be fatal. Cats can carry the Bartonella henselae bacterium, which causes “cat-scratch disease”. Bites and scratch wounds can become badly infected and lead to more pain. As in most cases, these infections affect children, the elderly, those with immunosuppressive diseases like HIV or AIDS and people under chemotherapy and other forms of medical treatments.
Your veterinarian can advise you on the best course of action to take. Find someone your pet lover friends highly recommend. Then visit the vet clinic and ask for a tour. Is the staff friendly and accommodating? Do they answer your questions well? Do they make follow-up reports or inquire about your pet’s condition after you and your friend pay a visit? Is the clinic clean and free from foul odor? Does it have the latest veterinary equipment?

A pet can be an wellspring of joy, especially to children. Keeping them disease-free not only ensures that you, its owner, and the young ones who seek them out for companionship, enjoy their presence. Their unconditional love raises the fun level at home, where they have become more and more, a vital part of a happy family.

HealthTreat And Even Prevent Diabetes With Ginger by Pakman(op): 11:29am On Apr 06, 2018
Are you doing everything you can to avoid diabetes or control it if you already have it? It’s a frightening illness that can severely impact a person’s quality of life and even lead to death, so it’s only natural that people who are concerned about their health take steps to reduce their risk. Perhaps you’re already avoiding sugar, watching your diet, and getting plenty of exercise, but are you eating enough ginger?

A new study has demonstrated just howpowerful ginger’s effects are in fighting this all-too-common disease. Seventy patients with type 2 diabetes participated in a double-blinded, placebo-controlled trial to assess how ginger could affect their glycemic status, inflammatory markers of the condition, and their lipid profile. A control group took a 1600mg placebo, while the ginger group took 1600mg of ginger daily. Measurements were taken at the beginning and end of the study to assess their blood lipids, blood sugar levels, tumor necrosis factor alpha, prostaglandin E2, and C-reactive protein.

The researchers found that those who underwent the ginger treatment had significantly lower levels of quite a few parameters. These include the important fasting plasma glucose, insulin, triglycerides, total cholesterol, and inflammation markers C-reactive protein and Prostaglandin E2. They also had lower levels of glycated hemoglobin, or HbA1C, which measures how much sugar is damaging the body’s red blood cells, and a measurement of insulin resistance known as HOMA.

The amount of ginger the patients took equated to 1.6 grams, which is not a very big amount; it’s roughly equivalent to just ¼ of a teaspoon. They took it in capsule form in doses of 800mg twice per day.

A family of diabetes fighters

Ginger comes from the same family of plants as turmeric, which was shown in a recent study published in the journal Diabetes Care to be 100 percent effective in preventing people with prediabetes from developing full-fledged diabetes.

In the placebo-controlled, double-blinded and randomized study, researchers in Thailand divided 240 prediabetic participants into groups, one of which was given 250 mg of curcuminoid daily, while the other served as a control. A variety of parameters were measured at the beginning of the study and every three months up until nine months, and the researchers reported that while 16.4 percent of those in the placebo group went on to develop type 2 diabetes, nobody in the curcumin groupdeveloped the illness.

That’s a remarkable accomplishment, and it is excellent news for the two out of five Americans aged 40 to 74 who are estimated to have prediabetes. After all, curcumin is found in turmeric, which is not only easy to find and affordable, but also very safe.

Consuming more ginger and turmeric is easy

It’s easy to incorporate more ginger and turmeric into your diet, and doing so can give you a fighting chance against diabetes in addition to many other health benefits. The two flavors complement one another well and can be used to create stews, curries, chicken dishes and aromatic rices for a one-two punch. The easiest way to consume more ginger and turmeric is by making a simple tea out of them; you can add flavors like cinnamon, lemon or honey if desired.

You can also add them, individually or separately, to smoothies or soups. Ginger has a more noticeable presence, so it won’t work in just any soup, but it does pair nicely with carrots and other vegetables.

Turmeric has a subtler flavor, which means you can add it to eggs, vegetables, smoothies and soups without worrying about affecting the flavor too much. Many people like to consume it with milk. Just remember to consume a small amount of black pepper with the turmeric to help your body absorb it.

Turmeric and ginger capsules are also available, but it’s important to get organic varieties from trusted sources to ensure you are getting a pure product.

HealthDoctors Shocked When Cannabis Oil Cures Woman Of Terminal Cancer by Pakman(op): 10:51am On Apr 06, 2018
There is no shortage of patients curing their cancer on their own, with a little help from a medicinal plant we call cannabis. Recently, a 52-year-old woman from the United Kingdom revealed that cannabis oil saved her life. After a terminal cancer diagnosis and failed chemotherapy treatments, Joy Smith says that she was willing to try just about anything — including cannabis.

In spite of her initial skepticism, Smith took a leap of faith that seems to have paid off in huge dividends. Two years after beginning treatment with cannabis oil, her stomach cancer is in complete remission and the last bits of cancer are just about gone.

Smith, who hails from Coventry, says that doctors predicted she had just six weeks to live when they first diagnosed her stomach and bowel cancer. Many of the tumors were deemed inoperable, and experts pushed her to try chemotherapy to extend her life. But, as is so often the case, chemo just made her condition worse: She developed sepsis and her line had to be taken out.

It was then that she learned some of her friends had been looking into alternative treatments for her — including cannabis.

Smith told the Coventry Telegraph, “When you’re told you have six weeks to live you’ll try anything, trust me.”

“I was a bit sceptical about the oil at first as I’d never taken drugs or anything like that – but I know I would not be here today without it. I want to tell everybody,” she continued.

“Cannabis oil should be legalised for medical purposes – people are dying and the chemotherapy isn’t curing them,” the cancer survivor contended.

While Joy may have been apprehensive about cannabis oil initially, learning about other people who had success treating their cancer with it inspired her to be more confident. Soon, she saw her own results — which ultimately convinced her of the plant’s potency against one of the world’s leading killer diseases.

“I was taking it on and off. But when I’d been having it three to five times a week, the scans were getting better and then when I stopped taking it the scans showed no change,” she explained.

Why are governments continuing to outlaw this safe, affordable and highly effective solution against cancer?

“Widespread awareness and legalization of cannabis as anti-cancer medicine would collapse the for-profit cancer industry which depends on a never-ending supply of cancer patients for their profits and government funding,” explained Mike Adams, the “Health Ranger,” publisher of Cancer.news and other medical science news sites. “For millions of people around the world, the answer to cancer is literally a weed that grows for free, yet tyrannical governments around the world are beholden to the financial interests of the corrupt cancer industry, and they enforce prohibition against natural medicine, denying the populations of the world a basic human right: access to natural medicine,” Adams added.

Joy has described herself as a “walking miracle” after doctors in Spain confirmed that the cannabis oil was healing her cancer.

But, unsurprisingly, other members of the mainstream medical community have shunned her treatment protocol. Julie Frater, from Cancer Research UK, reportedly commented, “We don’t advise patients to use cannabis oil or any alternative therapies to treat cancer. Standard medical treatments for cancer are all evidence-based so have been tested to see how safe and effective they are.”

Of course, recent research has shown thatchemotherapy is anything but safe; it can actually make cancer spread faster and become more virulent than it was before. As Joy Smith’s case has shown, chemo isn’t the godsend the medical community purports it to be.

The truth may be suppressed by mainstream medicine, but many people are turning to cannabis oil and other natural remedies in an effort to fight off their cancer — and there is no shortage of success. In September 2017, another brave woman revealed that cannabis oil had cured her “incurable” brain cancer. As usual, where modern “medicine” fails, plants rule.

Another cancer survivor came forward earlier this year, to tell the world that plant medicine had cured her breast cancer in just five months.

Despite the clear volume of people successfully treating cancer with cannabis, the mainstream medical establishment refuses to even consider the possibility of plant medicine. Who is truly being anti-science here?

HealthRe: Help With Ulcer! by Pakman: 12:32pm On Apr 02, 2018
raw cabbage juice will solve your ulcer problem my dear friend.
How cabbage cures stomach ulcers
The duodenal ulcers of patients fed cabbage also healed in one-third the usual time. In a double blind study of 45 inmates at San Quentin Prison in California, 93 percent of the ulcers in prisoners taking cabbage juice concentrate in capsules - the equivalent of a fresh quart of cabbage juice every day - were healed after three weeks. Only 32 percent of the ulcers healed in those taking a dummy capsule. How could cabbage work? Seemingly by strengthening the stomach lining's resistance to acid attacks.
