Some of you are really dumb. I'm sure you have no idea the junta appointed Kere. President of Sierra Leone lol. I guess the South Sudanese President too get levels na that's why he was invited as well.
Dumb calling someone dumb. The Papacy does not have to go through any President or head of state to invite anyone. There are invitees in Nigeria that were invited and they needed no approval from the President to attend the event. Only some ignoramuses and unexposed clowns think until the President or Head of state is invited, then no one else could be independently invited.

These bitter folks have been trying their hardest to suppress the positives of the outing of the President, looking for the slightest of silly things to pick up and then start spreading it around. They behaving like a typical old witch living in solitary darkness. Even when APC was in the opposition, they didn't follow Jonathan all across the world like a witch in a bid to embarrass him and the country. I love the bitterness consuming their souls and almost making their minds explode.

As you can see, the royalty came all the way from Warri to Oyo affirming their ancestry. It's not the other way round whereby a so-called majority tribe is crying and begging for validation, even to the point of drawing the minorities into a map in their pipedream.

Is anyone still doubting how low these folks have gone, whether rich or poor, educated or illiterate, they think the same way. If you search "victimhood" in the dictionary, the name of that tribe will appear.

Politics › Re: Northern Group Asks FG To Designate Lagos, Rivers As FCTs by Pakute: 7:49pm On Apr 12, 2025
femisplash:
As good as it might sound trying to democratize the FCT, it is far from being properly framed and a little too far from being logical and realistic. How reasonably practicable is it having three FCTs?. The operating word here is " federal" - meaning each region would be a host to the three arms of Government ( executive, legislative and judiciary). How possibly can we replicate three three National Assemblies, three Executives and three Supreme Courts?. Of all the three arms, the Supreme Court appears the most practicable, it kind of makes sense having Supreme Court each in Lagos, PH and Abuja, it definitely going to save lots of time and stress going all the way to Abuja for a final verdict.
I have heard Senior Advocates clamour for at least one magistrate court in each Local Government.
Several countries that practice multiple capitals did that by locating an arm of Government at a separate locations. For instance, a particular city houses the executive capital (the seat of power) houses, another houses the legislative capital while a third city houses the judicial capital. It would therefore be more reasonable and better suited if Nigeria could replicate the same arrangement, if there will ever be a consideration at all. Lagos as the Legislative Capital, PH as the Judicial Capital while Abuja retains the Executive Capital.Otherwise, the most acceptable idea will be to give special status to both Lagos and PH while Abuja continue being the sole FCT.
In a very tribalistic and ethnically charged country like Nigeria, it will turn to North vs South battle. Let's just leave it as it is and I agreed, we grant Lagos and Portharcourt special status to balance the arrangement.

That's why I laughed at some people's gullibility, especially those from other ethnicities who are stupidly pleading for ibo Presidency. Look the carnage these guys committed with guns in their hands, imagine how emboldened and deadlier they would be if you foolishly hand them power through constitutional means. The beastly DNA is inherent.

Politics › Tinubu Commends NNPCL Over Re-Opening Of Warri Refinery by Pakute(op): 3:24pm On Dec 30, 2024
President Bola Tinubu has expressed his profound joy at the re- opening of the Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited.

A statement by the Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy), Bayo Onanuga on Monday, described the development as another remarkable achievement in 2024 that has strengthened Nigerians’ hope in his administration.

“Today, the Warri Refinery returned to operation weeks after NNPC Limited restarted the 60,000 Barrels per day at the Port Harcourt Refinery in November.

“With Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company (WRPC) going into operation after several years of inactivity, President Tinubu has once again expressed his administration’s determination to ramp up local refining capacity and make Nigeria a hub for downstream industrial activities in Africa.

“The All Progressives Congress-led administration of President Muhammadu Buhari awarded the contract for the complete rehabilitation and overhaul of the four state-owned refineries,” the statement said.

President Tinubu noted with confidence that with the 125,000 (bpd) Warri Refinery now operating at 60% capacity, his administration’s comprehensive plan to ensure energy efficiency and security is entirely on course. He praised the Mele Kyari-led management of the NNPCL for working hard to restore Nigeria’s glory and pride as a major oil-producing country.

“The restart of Warri Refinery today brings joy and gladness to me and Nigerians. This will further strengthen the hope and confidence of Nigerians for a greater and better future than we promised.

This development is a remarkable way to end the year following the feat recorded earlier with the old Port Harcourt Refinery. I am equally happy that NNPC Limited is implementing my directive to restore all four refineries to good working condition.

“I congratulate Mele Kyari and his team at NNPCL for working hard to restore our national pride and make Nigeria a hub for crude oil refining in Africa,” President Tinubu said.

President Tinubu enjoined NNPCL to accelerate repair work on Kaduna Refinery and the 150,000 (bpd) second refinery in Port Harcourt to consolidate Nigeria’s position as a global energy provider.

WRPC will focus on producing and storing critical products, including Straight Run Kerosene (SRK), Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), and heavy and light Naphtha.

You cant please ingrates

According to psychologists,if people do not fancy you for any reason or by default, nothing you do would ever impress them or make them value you more

Ask them why they dont like him...No reason in particular, just innate hatred from birth or wherever

God bless PBAT

Man just doing all he has to do as a southern President
So, why the hate?. The man doesn't even hate these guys. OBJ & GEJ abandoned them, now see what Tinubu is doing for them. Even Buhari who built for them the 2nd Niger bridge was almost killed while being alive. This is not normal, bro.

Abia airport is FG project, I read a few moments ago that Tinubu is building N40billion bio-methanol project and another N60billion solar PV project for production of solar panel. He has already given them SEDC. Yet these guys come here insulting our President the way they do 24/7. What nonsense!!!, these guys irks me to my stomach.
Politics › Abia Airport Is FG Project, State Supporting With Runway Upgrade – Otti by Pakute(op): 1:04pm On Dec 16, 2024
Governor Alex Otti has provided clarity on the proposed Abia airport project at Nsulu, Isiala Ngwa North, stating that the initiative is primarily a federal project.

Speaking at a media briefing on Friday night in Umuahia, Otti explained that while the federal government originally planned to construct an airstrip in the state, his administration successfully persuaded the federal government to scale it up to a full-scale airport.

The state government has committed to supporting the project by building a runway, which distinguishes an airstrip from an airport. However, the Governor emphasized that the project remains a federal undertaking, with no shared financial burden between the state and federal governments.

The airport project is set to be launched on Tuesday by the Minister of Aviation, Mr. Festus Keyamo. Governor Otti expressed his gratitude to the federal government for the initiative.

Regarding the forensic audit of his predecessor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, which revealed the alleged mismanagement of N10 billion on a non-existent airport project, Otti confirmed that investigations are still ongoing. He revealed that certain officials from the former administration have been questioned by anti-graft agencies, assuring that the matter has not been ignored.

On the decision to abandon the proposed airport site chosen by previous administrations, Otti explained that the location has now become a built-up area, making it unsuitable for an airport.

Constructing an airport there would require demolishing existing structures and paying compensation to landowners. The new site, he stated, is strategically located between Aba and Umuahia, and the state government plans to compensate the landowners.

The Governor dismissed the protests against the new airport site as politically motivated, claiming they stem from individuals who feel threatened by his administration’s success in accomplishing what they could not during their tenure.

Governor Otti also touched on several other state issues. He confirmed that the 2024 budget had exhausted allocations for road projects, including the Ariam Usaka ring road in Ikwuano, but assured that the project is included in the 2025 budget.

He further announced that the promised 13th-month salary for state workers will be paid alongside their December salary to ease financial strain during the holiday season.

On education, Otti revealed plans to establish 20 smart schools in the state to enhance the quality of education, one of his administration’s key development pillars. He also highlighted plans to recruit more teachers, particularly for rural schools, and is considering special welfare packages for rural educators.
Lastly, Otti vowed to implement the recommendations from the White Paper on the Visitation Panel of Abia State University, Uturu.
