Just because I told him its time i start my shopping, he s saying I dont need to shop for anything since Federal government will provide everything. His views on each of the item:
1. White round neck tops
2. White shorts
3. Pair of tennis shoes
All these will be provided @ the camp
4. A torch light - my Nokia torch will serve
5. Mosquito net and blanket - Take the ones @ home
6. Cooler, cup and spoom - dey booku for house
7. Buckets - this is the only item he will give me money for
8. Underwears and Towel - what happened to the ones I have?
9. Cash - for what? Food is provided, my alawee will be paid few days after I enter camp.
After all, the real meaning of NYSC is Now Your Suffering Continues. I still dey look am wit one eye shaa.

the home driver part is so so funny man. Trying to imagine such a position as that of being the call driver even when mum is about to get groceries... Wish i cld have said this earlier: get a money making job, or invest your money into skill acquistion. I hope it's not too late but really just put it in mind. When you have a long time to yourself, engage in something active. I am a sanguine and mheeeen, u shld know now... We cannot sit in a place... Always jumping up and down. Imagine how horrible the boredom will be- 3months stay at home! Ehn,,, nibo! I finished my final exams June, realized i wld be staying home till November! Heavens forbid I sit for house, i go just die of boredom. I went into holiday coaching teachn b4 they resumed, started tailoring lessons alongside. Will be due to graduate next wk... Don't scream, I resume 9am close 6pm sometimes 7pm for 3mths now everyday except sunday excludn wen i went to teach( and that stopped a month ago). Also consider my keen interest in that skill, hence the speed. I can sow all basics now; any other extras like designs depend on ur imaginative power and wisdom. O tan! Sorry for this long epistle.... I am rarely this serious... Guess I am in a mood I gotta check.

i do find teaching interesting. Aspiring to be a great teacher someday. Well am starting from somewhere and I hope that I will be posted to a schl. After service, masters, will be going into full time teaching (in a secondary schl!, so u don't confuse it with lecturing)

If you go to someone's profile and click on pm...it won't give you a text field to write on just click send, the person will get an email notification that you want to communicate him or her then, then the person can chose to send you a message, if the person replies you from there you've got the person's email link and can reply or message them whenever you want.

The long process is a kinda security protocol, but the downside is that both parties must have their emails on the go to be able to message each other in real time...unlike facebook.

Don't drink water while eating! Why?... I have made this my habit: asking questions. Answers will help me understand why I should and why I should not. Water as we know is very very important in losing weight but science has it that when we take water during our meals, we tend to gain more weight. How? When we eat, our body system releases digestive enzymes. These speed up the rate of food metabolism. In order words they act as catalysts. So let's put is this way: the digestive enzymes are the catalysts, the food to be digested is the substrate. As a chemist, I know from Michelis Mentel's explanation that the more the substrate, the lesser the effect of the catalyst(in this case, food is the substrate) and vice versa. Now when we drink water while eating, it dilutes the enzymes such that their potency is quickly reduced. The power is so reduced that they are not able to properly digest the food. Of course, the undigested food will have to be stored in fatty tissues (This process I just described is a very complex one. I decided to break it down in the simplest way I can). In conclusion, we can adopt a very good means of drinking water( since we should not do without it) by taking it 1hr before or after our meals. That helps to keep our enzyme potency high. That in turn facilitates the food metabolism and no excess food is stored as fat.
I might have missed some things while explaining as I want to be very simple and clear, so if you have questions (because you might have gotten confused somewhere along the line), please do ask. I will appreciate comments and treat questions also. Thanks. Do have a great week and lose some weight.

@Olaitan1 and Voucher. It is very possible depending on how u work at it. Food to eat and not to...hmmm... Eat more of vegetables and fruits. Combine PROPERLY with protein. Eat carbohydrates moderately. Drink lots of water and so on and so forth.., those are general weight loss tips. Soon we will discover how to develop a healthy eating plan that will carry us through the weight loss journey and permanently become our lifestyle. I keep saying that incorporating these tips into our lifestyle is the best. It is better than looking for how to temporarily lose some weight within a time frame because in no time, you will find yourself regaining the lost weight and gradually gaining more.
