No one could have said it better. I'm sure Facebook has a script that will optimize your picture size to save everyone the bandwidth. You can try to upload a 41.65MB picture, either it tells you it is to big or automatically optimize it for you a few kilobyte replica.

Can the pictures taken with the 41mp be uploaded on social networks like facebook?

The camera shots with either its 41MP or 5MP. All these are 5MP. For professional photgraphapers, it also has some very advanced settings. For me I just point and shoot.

The first and third pictures were taking at a resort centre in Kano around 6:30 in the evening.

The second was taken in T.O.T.A.L darkness. It was shot when a friend of mine challenged me with his Samsung galaxy 4 (he has a Lumia 920 too). I switched off the pre-focusing flash as part of the rules of the challenge. We were watching a movie around midnight when the PHCN struck.

The last is the result of the front camera (cropped to remove most of my face).

I should be able to PM you some indoor pictures, if you want. Wont want to post my friends' picture on the internet

@OP, you guys need to be more adventurous and try the Lumia 1020 (apart from the 41MP, other features are Optical Image Stability, Carl Zeiss Lens, dual Xenon flash). Do you know Nokia had to build an algorithm for the camera alone! Windows phone might not have as much apps as other mobile ecosystem but when it comes to camera . . . You can also Google to compare.

If you want quality pictures, either get a DSLR or a Lumia 1020 or 930. (Note: I dont work for Nokia, I just use a Lumia 1020)

You've been able to garner so many responses from this thread and one of them suggests you getting a professional camera. I think that's your best bet if you want pictures of the type of quality used for the model in green.

It will not. This picture was focused on the lady thereby blurring the image behind her, only a DSLR will do that. Mobile phones make use of software to process the photos but no matter how the software is, it will never beat a dedicated DSLR optics.

And this DSLR cannot be less than 60,000?

U said it all. U can never fit the lens of a DSLR camera on a mobile phone, it just won't fit. Unless the op can carry a Nokia 808 pureview around which is more of s camera than a phone.

Such cameras can't be gotten for anything less than 60,000?

I have not used or handled the E8.
Wouldn't want to give you an uninformed opinion about her.

HTC makes good and rugged devices. But hence you are looking for a phone with good camera, Sony Xperia Z2/3 or iPhone 6/+ wouldn't be a bad pick.

Wish I could see pictures taken and uploaded by users of both the z3 and iPhone 6..It would really ease my decision making.

The dual 4MP rear camera sensors of M8 is a big flop.
In terms of picture quality, the M8 can't hold a candle to the Z2.

My thoughts exactly,I never had HTC one m8 in mind,it only stands out when your talking about selfies.

Why not buy a camera instead No matter how high d mp of a fones camera is u can never compare it with camera sold for 300k......how are u sure d pic u showing us isn't take with the Olympus OM-D E-M1 camera

I'm not really an LG fan,as for the Xperia I read some things online and the Xperia Z3s camera practically gives the same quality as the Samsung galaxy s5.
