Computers / Re: Should I Choose A AMD APU Over Intel For Long Run ? by panjgoori: 8:30am On Sep 21, 2014
cyrilomeru: Y not go for hp g62-34ous or hp2000-bf39wm, as 4me am chilling with the hp g62 320gb 3gb running on windows 8, very fast, dey are both amd dual core

well i'm searching for laptop which comes with either A8 Quad Core or A10 Quad Core. I don't want to invest in a laptop with dual core chip. A shopkeeper also told me that HP DV6 with AMD A-10 also cost the same 320$. but the problem is that in my region AMD laptops are not much popular hence not available easily.
Computers / Should I Choose A AMD APU Over Intel For Long Run ? by panjgoori: 10:36pm On Sep 20, 2014
Im considering to change my laptop. Currently i have HP Elitebook 6930p Core2Duo 2.4 with ATI Radeon HD 3450 GPU. I'm considering AMD A-Series APU because of their built-in discrete GPU. I want to ask that should i choose AMD over Intel ? im planning to use new laptop for about 3-4 years. Im not a hardcore gamer but i play some games when im bored. I mostly use my laptop for watching movies, creating assignments for my Uni, creating presentations like light work. Which one will be better for me ?

and another thing im getting a Gateway laptop slightly used with AMD A10 2.3-3.2 GHz processor, 4GB ram, 320GB HDD for about 320$. should i go for Gateway or search for HP or Dell ??

thanks.

I can learn maths and also physics if they are must for programming. i can basically to anything to become a programmer. My friend is doing BS in Computer Engineering and he is also not good in Maths but he is also encouraging me to come to Computer Science because he knows my passion about Programming and other computer related things.

Hello everyone. First time posting here. I wanted to ask you all that I love Programming and everything related to Technology and Computers. and also want to do BS in Computer Science but I have one thing which is Math. I know Math a bit but i hate it. Now i'm stuck with it. I don't really know what to do. I want to program, i want to develop software, games, mess up with OS's etc. What you people suggest me ?

and also my family keeps telling me that Computer Science doesn't have a good future. which i don't agree with.

and one more thing i'm also considering Bio-Technology.

Should i still choose Computer Science for my BS program ? What difficulties i will face in programming when i don't know maths ? thanks and any other tips will be appreciated.
