Africans, will never cease to amaze me. |
Which means the world is a very clean place. |
allycat:Yes that's true. A better alternative is to download the entire database which is about 40mb, that way, one can be able to use the excel search function which works pretty well to search just any name of interest. |
Offshore Leaks Database is a free search engine for Panama Papers. Everyone can use this website to look for companies and individuals that have offshore accounts according to Panama Papers. This awesome search engine is brought to you by ICIJ (International Consortium of Investigative Journalist). The website gives you the hold of a search engine which shows organizations and persons that have offshore accounts. This can help in finding companies, politicians, and criminals that are using their offshore accounts for tax evasion, money laundering, fraud and evading international financial protocols. However one thing to note is that owning an Offshore account is not illegal, but they can be used for illegal activities that I mentioned above. So if you find the name of someone you know on this website, don’t lose heart! https://cdn.ilovefreesoftware.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/main.png For those who don’t Know, Panama Papers are a set of documents that were leaked from a Panama based law firm called Mossack Fonseca. The database has information about 320,000 offshore entities. Offshore Leaks Database lists offshore accounts that were incorporated since 1977 and it spans over 200 countries. All of these are available to download through a torrent file and CSV files that have been broken down from 2.6 TeraBytes of information and 11.5 million documents from Mossack Fonseca’s internal database. So let’s see what Offshore Leaks Database has in store for us. How to Search Panama Papers for Persons and Organizations Offshore Leaks Database is very easy to use and it gives you a ton of investigative information. This search engine for Panama Papers can search entities based on the country the entity originates from, and the jurisdiction that offshore account falls in. https://cdn.ilovefreesoftware.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/emmawatsonsearch.png Let’s take an example where I want to find the offshore connections of a very well known company or an individual. To make my search narrower, I clicked Search by Country, selected the country where the entity resides, entered its name and simply clicked on search. You can see I searched for the famous Hollywood star Emma Watson. The Search will list all the offshore entities, officers, intermediaries and entity addresses that have ‘Emma Watson’ in them. It looks like we have a hit! Click on the desired entity to know more about them. https://cdn.ilovefreesoftware.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/node-map.png In my search for Emma Watson’s offshore connections, I found a connected company and an address. These both were modeled on an entity-node map which makes it easier for the users to track connections. You can see Emma Watson is a shareholder of Falling Leaves Ltd. On each node there is a number which signifies how many more connections it has. In the case of falling Leaves Ltd, it has 4 more connections which can be expanded by clicking its node. https://cdn.ilovefreesoftware.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/connections.png Below the map is a list of connections that Emma Watson has in relation to her offshore account. As I’ve mentioned before, offshore accounts are completely legal. In Emma Watson’s case, she was using the offshore account for privacy, according to the media. How to Download the Offshore Leaks Database The whole database is open for download in converted CSV files. You can download it directly from this link. Since the total size of all files is pretty large, it costs ICIJ resources whenever a user downloads it. A better option is to share the file using the torrent file which you can download here. How to Get More Information on Offshore Leaks through Offshore Leaks Database https://cdn.ilovefreesoftware.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/key-players.png The Power Players at the bottom will give you a tour of people related to powerful and influential people who are often world leaders, their associates and other public officials. Clicking on an individual will tell you all you need to know about their offshore accounts and what they possibly use it for. https://cdn.ilovefreesoftware.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/offshore-1977.png On the right of The Power Players, you can browse the key figures of the Panama Papers. There are lots of graphs that’ll illustrate when offshore accounts were incorporated, country with the highest number of intermediaries, popular tax havens, etc. Final Words Offshore leaks database is definitely the epitome of anti-corruption activism that lights the deep dark avenues of politics and capitalism on steroids (no, I am not a communist). This Panama Papers Search Engine can be used by journalists, anti-corruption bureaus, intelligence, etc all around the world. But I think it would come really handy to the general masses to educate them. Source Check out Offshore Leaks Database here. cc: Lalasticlala |
I will advise you to focus mainly on Nigeria contents. Competition out there is damn too high. If you say you want to make it a worldwide thing and feature foreign music, it's still okay but know that you will be competing with the big boys like Pandora, SoundCloud, spotify etc. Though I don't know if your own pattern will be similar to those ones or you may take a different approach, but one thing is certain, be ready for serious competition. Secondly, those sites I mentioned up there, though they are known worldwide, but they mostly don't feature Nigeria or African content (just few of them) and that's where you'll fill in the gap. Thirdly, if you decide to make it a worldwide thing by featuring just everything music, believe me, the task will be overwhelming and you will eventually be exhausted sooner or later. But if you focus on just Nigeria contents only, you'll have all the time to focus on doing just one thing, and that's to promote Nigeria music only. If you do it well, you may end up creating the best Nigeria music site in the world and directly or indirectly, you have created a website that's known worldwide. For the hosting, I know most foreign hosting companies do offer unlimited storage and bandwidth, but I'll advice you go with reputable ones like bluehost or godaddy. This is purely my opinion though. |
If I were God, I'll simply reveal myself in open space for the whole world to see. This, I believe will finally bring an end to all this argument. @OP, what you wrote up there is rubbish, these are not evidence of God's existence, You are just trying to tell us that everything that exist must have a creator. Let's say we all agree with you. Now the question is, who created God?. Of course I know you'll say nobody created him. But you know what? That's where you lots are confused. I'm not an atheist, I consider myself an agnostic. Yeah, because I don't have the proof of the existence or the non existence of God. |
This design is terrible. No one white space, terrible fonts, terrible color combination. But you've tried at least to put up something like this. |
This logo is terrible. It might just be something else but certainly not a logo. |
Proudly Jos boy. I'm Jostified. |
What a joke |
I am going to miss her music. She's my best female rapper. |

I'm highly impressed by this. |
Muafrika2:Facebook does not select phones because it is a web application which you can also access via your Web browser. WhatsApp is completely mobile that's why you can't access whatsapp via your Web browser except through mirroring via the mobile app. Think of whatsapp like BBM, it's entirely a mobile app, if BBM decides to start supporting java phones, it means that they'll definitely cut down on certain functionalities and believe me, you'll never want to use BBM again. |
Muafrika2:This is not true. How can you kill something you invest so much on?. The reason why they're ending support for the said mobile devices is because they want to optimize the app and the only way to do this is to end support for obsolete technologies. If you're an app developer then you should know about this. When you choose to develop an app that support lower version of operating systems, then you should know that some great features that you might want to include in your app may not be possible. It's just like opening a word document written in office 2007 with Office 2013, you'll notice that the document is open in compatibility mode, meaning that some features may be disabled just so you can view the document in a newer version of office. |
If you are just a new user of SwiftKey then I wouldn't be surprised that you aren't really enjoying it. I have been using SwiftKey for more than 3 years now. I used the google keyboard, I also used Swype, TouchPal which I believe are the game players in terms of Android keyboard but to be honest to you guys non of them beats SwiftKey. SwiftKey studies your typing behavior and make typing a lot more easier, though this is a common feature in most Android keyboards, SwiftKey have redefined the whole concept and makes it even more effective. SwiftKey can store your typing strokes for as long as you are using the app in order to customize your prediction provided you supply your your email address. I've been blogging with my smartphone, writing blog post of more than 1000 words and that has only been possible with SwiftKey. |
Let me test if I can still comment on threads. It's been a long time. |
Onyejemechimere:You got a cool site. Nice |
This year will make sense in Jesus Name. |
Great tutorials. I'm following. |
We're running away from airtel while you're coming in... Airtel, the most, 'greediest' network providers in the world. I'll never go back to airtel. Unless they've change. They give you N100 bonus then they charge you N50 per minute. |
