nabegibeg:It's quite unfair that anyone would express opinion about an organisation they have no knowledge about. For your information the 3 roles are in 3 different companies in the APMM group....Damco,APTERMINALS and Maerskline. they might not be your favorite company, but I don't see why you should discourage people from applying. I know people who have worked there from linkedIn. Sometimes to get a job is to go through the specified skills and experience , check if you have them and make them reflect in your CV. That is the first step at getting through a job/CV screening. I might not be interested in the roles but please if you are .. .I can tell you from what I know that APMM group gives you opportunity and global exposure . If I were you I would go to linkedin to see who currently holds those roles in the company.....their profile could inspire you ![]() |

Hello all, anyone living in Mombasa? |
There are strong indications by LASTMA and indeed the government of the state to relocate the trailers and similar vehicles to the Lagos Trade Fair complex in order to ease the gridlock in Apapa. While we respect the the good intentions of Chris Olakpe led LASTMA to ease the traffic situation in Apapa and the ripple effects on connecting routes, we cannot but cry out in total refusal to any move to transfer the problem to the trade fair complex on badagry expressway. In more than 5 years, anyone who has had to commute from mile 2 to badagry on the badagry expressway would agree that it is not an experience to look forward to.Presently, the badagry expressway is being "re-constructed" to accommodate the rail project. Not only has this slowed business activities between mile 2 and its environs (festac, amuwo, satellite town, barracks, ojo alaba, okomaiko etc.), it has also subjected people to persistent traffic at spots like mazamaza, alakija and volks. This has made people trekk steadily. The morning routine from first gate to mile 2 and the evening ordeal from trade fair busstop and volks bus stops are a case in point. Also, the width of the road in that axis is a lot smaller than the apapa oshodi expressway that the trailers occupy today. It would also not be out of place for the management LASTMA to test the flyover at trade fair to confirm if it can withstand the capacity from those usually laden trucks. If you have ever experienced the mile2 -ojo-agbara-badagry dilemma, or you have loved ones who have, or you work, live or do business in that neighbourhood, or have loved ones or friends who do, please join your voice to this appeal to LASTMA and Lagos state government. #no2apapatrucksintradefair .Please copy paste and repost this until the decision is withdrawn. |
