One thing I've noticed about this DR Congo side is that they're not the best playmakers. They're not even that good technically. What they have is good strength, immense stamina, dangerous counterattacking, and a defense that can frustrate the life out of you. That's why they're so hard to beat. Many of their games tend to end 1-1, 1-0 or 0-0 Lol.

Imagine a SE team without players like Aina on the right, Bassey in defence, Iwobi in midfield and Osimhen and Lookman in attack still playing like a European team with clean passes and ball controls. What Chelle cannot do doesn't exist.

Bewene has to learn to close down or cut off a cross/shot threat better on his side of the pitch. He seems to leave lots of space between himself and the pole so he can afford to manipulate the ball with a cross or shot.

He's been decent in some phases going forward and in possession but defensively, he still falls short.

1. I do not think Zadok is that good.

2. The EPL is too much step up in quality from the Swedish league. He will face better and more experienced defenders, better managers, better game play, formations and tactics being deployed by teams to nullify his threat.

3. The guy was basically an amateur footballer in Nigeria about a year ago, and as is typical of home-based players still needs lots of things coached into and out of him.

4. I consider Sweden to EPL as too much of a leap. I'll have preferred Sweden ➡️ Belgium, Sweden ➡️ Netherlands, Sweden ➡️ France, Sweden ➡️ Germany, Sweden ➡️ Spain route for him to develop better as a footballer.

5. The EPL does not develop players. Its a perform or burst league. It will either make or mar him.

Still, as one of ours, I wish him the best and hope he performs well in the league.

It is only a matter of time. A new allsvenskan transfer record will likely be set but can Zadok feature in the EPL already through Brighton applying for exceptions rule or will he be loaned out immediately to accrue GBE points?

With no Int'l caps too yet, it is a challenge for Brighton but I think it is part of why they are paying this high. Time will tell.

Nigeria have 19 y/o John Otomewo and 19 y/o Mukhtar Adamu who offer similar skillsets (Decent technicality, top speed and solid physicality) to this Senegal kid as CMs/CDMs. You are welcome as long as you are good enough. If you good enough, you are old enough.
There is also another 19y/o Ridwan Popoola in Hungary. Same league where CB, Akpe Victory (linked with a major move this summer) has been silently making waves.
