It's because Africans especially Nigerians see their country as backward, association with western world or white race to them is progressive, so they want to do things like the white man and insult their own country because to them there is nothing good in it

Why do Africans especially Nigerians hate their country and says negative things about their Mother land.
Why do Africans support overseas football clubs and cannot remember clubs in their community
Why do black Africans women wear white women hair to feel like a human
Why do Africans sell everything and travel overseas to do a job they will not do at home
Why will Africans change the way they speak when in overseas to feel human
People loss hope with the government and widespread frustration due to dissatisfaction with the government
PoliticsRe: Best Answer Win 100k by papiilo(m): 1:26pm On Dec 13, 2025
adeoyekay:
People often criticize their own country because they see problems that affect their daily lives and hope things can improve.
When they support overseas football clubs, it’s usually because those teams get more media coverage and offer a sense of prestige.
Wearing wigs or styles that mimic other cultures can be a way for individuals to feel confident or fit in, not a statement about their identity.
Many Africans travel abroad for work because job opportunities and wages are limited at home, and they take any honest work they can find.
Changing the way they speak when overseas is often an attempt to be understood and to avoid discrimination, rather than a denial of who they are.
Rest grin

Yeah, but, this is Naija, right? Without solid proof, you could end up getting yourself into trouble. Seriously, to be taken seriously, you need to get it on video or audio. They all look out for each other, especially those 'stop and search' officers.

SubḥānAllāh, this really hits hard. 😔 In a world so full of distractions, it’s easy to drift with the crowd. But those quiet moments of prayer and remembrance—especially when no one else notices—carry a weight we can’t even imagine. Makes me want to be more intentional with my worship. Who else feels motivated to stand firm even when everyone else is busy with the world?
I am with you, may Allah continue to guide us and Increase our eeman

My lovely friend Husband was killed by Gunmen over 24 hours ago by kidnappers while driving past the local government of the current chief of Army staff. Every day people are killed on this road. Many are in captivity. Nigerians avoid these roads in December if you are not ready to die young. May his soul and others killed rest in peace
show me some love sir for the spirit of Christmas

This is what many Nigerians are happy for....

The sanction will further make life harder for all Nigerians and not to Tinubu and his supporters alone.

So as you wish this government to fail, be rest assured that it will definitely affect you one way or the other.
