It's because Africans especially Nigerians see their country as backward, association with western world or white race to them is progressive, so they want to do things like the white man and insult their own country because to them there is nothing good in it

Wearing wigs or styles that mimic other cultures can be a way for individuals to feel confident or fit in, not a statement about their identity.
Many Africans travel abroad for work because job opportunities and wages are limited at home, and they take any honest work they can find.
Changing the way they speak when overseas is often an attempt to be understood and to avoid discrimination, rather than a denial of who they are.

My lovely friend Husband was killed by Gunmen over 24 hours ago by kidnappers while driving past the local government of the current chief of Army staff. Every day people are killed on this road. Many are in captivity. Nigerians avoid these roads in December if you are not ready to die young. May his soul and others killed rest in peace
