omisakint:Mitchel is not a Muslim naw, perhaps, why will he resist the hand shake of American's 1st Lady when its not that of Nigeria. |
Both PDP and APGA are going nowhere in that state, if the PDP like let them call Maku an ingrate, if Maku like let him be stylishly begging that he'll work for Jonathan; APC will win them hands down in Nasarawa.. Labaran Maku is a popular candidate running on a wrong and unpopular party in the North PDP is a popular party with a wrong and unwanted candidate in Nasarawa. APC will steal the show |

A former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Dan Etete, has warned the First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, to desist from meddling in the internal politics of Bayelsa state. He also accused the First Lady of being “jealous” of the “exceptional performance” of Dickson with a promise to lead the fight to stop Mrs Jonathan from further sabotaging the efforts of the governor. The former minister who spoke at the weekend in Yenagoa during an event to commemorate his 70th birthday, expressed surprise that instead of clearing the path for her husband’s re-election, the First Lady had preoccupied herself with a mission to remove Governor Dickson from office. He wondered when it became a rule that Mrs Jonathan should determine who becomes governor and who should not. “I am using this opportunity to warn the First Lady not to make the mistake of trying to dislodge Governor Dickson to impose a thief and a criminal as Governor of Bayelsa State. “It is a known fact that Dickson has performed beyond the expectation of most Bayelsans, and that out of nothing but sheer jealousy the First Lady and her cheerleaders want him out to pave way for their selfish interests,” Etete said. At the event which had Governor Dickson and prominent Ijaw leader and First Republic Minister of Information, Edwin Clark, among other in attendance, Etete stated that his 15-year absence from Bayelsa had not blocked his understanding of political events in the state. He carpeted Mrs Jonathan for failing to appreciate Dickson’s efforts to assist her husband Dr. Goodluck Jonathan succeed as president. “We have Governor Dickson working his heart out to galvanize support for President Jonathan’s second term in office. On the other hand, the First Lady is aligning with all the opposition elements in the state to create crisis for the young governor. “Her aim is to return to power the same thieves and criminals who failed the state in the past, and turn back the hands of the clock for this great state,” noted Etete, stressing, “we won’t allow such to happen”, he stressed. Also speaking, Clark endorsed Governor Dickson for a second term. “By God’s grace, I’ll celebrate my 90th birthday here in Bayelsa in 2017, during Dickson’s second term in office,” prayed the octogenarian. Responding, Governor Dickson thanked the Ijaw leaders for their support, stressing that the re-election of President Jonathan should be the concern of all those who truly love Nigeria. The Governor called for the collective efforts of Ijaw leaders for what he described as “sincerity of purpose.” While challenging the people to stand up for what they believe is right, Dickson said it was impossible to claim to support President Jonathan’s re-election bid and at the same time be causing confusion in the President’s home state. “You can’t claim to be for Mr. President and yet be sabotaging his home state”, Dickson said in apparent reference to the First Lady. Change is imminent GMB- Come FeBuhari 14th, 2015 |
Hilarious. I don't think this is true cos there is absolutely no reason for this... Don Jazzy is too busy making money and making hits than dissing Dbanj Please don't start any controversy, abegi! |
When you start hearing much propaganda, foul cry, complains, death wishes, excuses of violent act etc from PDP. Not national, economical, social issue based question being raised by opposition.. It a show of FEAR and conceeded DEFEAT. PDP is scared of how far (the success and acceptability) APC and its candidate has gone. PDP is scared of what APC and his candidate has become (Household party and candidate) PDP has totally lost confidence in itself: as a sitting Party instead of promoting its achievement, PDP is there antagonising the opposition thereby giving them more popularity and sympathy It has realy shown that PDP is going to loose the election come Febuari 14th Change is realy imminent |
Guess its witch hunting and blackmailing time for GEJ |
Nigeria's future can only be bright when GEJ leaves Aso Rock.. #EnoughIsEnough GMB- 2015 |

smartmom:It is a nice and informative forum |
colossus2:Are you saying the figure is more or less? With the statistics of eligible voters above and looking at states controlled by both APC and PDP one should be able to project a winner in d presidental election. ![]() |
This move will change nothing, Its still GMB 2015 |
Nice one Op for a well informed post.. Kindly post for Lagos, Osun Ondo and Kaduna please. |

[quote author=smartmom post=28074010]You are soooo right. Many parents are way too busy and distracted or pre occupied earning to cater for these very kids that are being abused and destroyed by employees. Before it comes to the knowledge of the parents, its often too late to be fixed. Here is a link to where parents of like mimds are discussing, sharing and learning on how to prevent this dangerous trend:http://nigerianparentsforum.com/index.php/kunena/boosting-your-child-s-self-esteem[/quote Its a nice and informative forum |
mikeansy:Yet Mimiko is a political office holder who decamped without any consequence. The National Assembly case is just an act of inpunity by PDP led govt, just like we witnessed in River state House, Edo state House, currently in Ekiti State House to mention a few What has the Executive or the Police force got to do with issues that concerns the Legislature when we have the Judiciary who is a nuetral arm of the Government? Now Doyin Okupe has come out to deny the FG's involvement in the National Assembly bruhaha, forgeting that he that own the pipe(NPF) dictates the tune(NPF's Action). |
smartmom:You should be grateful indeed cos Its a wicked world out there and you can't always be with your child,i.e nanny, crech, school, even with friends.. On seeing them, e.g. after school, you can ask questions like: 1. How are you 2. Have you eaten 3. How was your day, 4. What happened in school today e.t.c For the talking child, u'll sure get answers than expected Communication is so key to raising a child as this will build your relationship and confidence in the Child. I wish all parent will see this. |
