Religious worship must be private and not be allowed to disrupt public life. That is what is behind the success of the West, I.e public secularity, while we continue to wallow in the worst forms of universal backwardness in Nigeria.

You have lived in the core North for 17 years and I have lived in the West, the UK Precisely, for much longer since I was a kid. At no time have I noted education of children being subject to the will of any religion. This is wrong and condemnable. It is not progressive at all.
Why did we send kids to school? To learn.Anything that can distract them we try to remove it.infact, some schools put A.c so that the weather and the environment can be conducive.

I am a teacher,I base in zamfara , I have home lesson I am engaged with, when I saw the weather today, nobody told me to enter my car to go.

Weather in sokoto is not friendly, why forcing the kids to learn when is obvious the fasting and the weather will hinder them.Just as I said,we made laws not that laws made us.We can't keep sending the wards to school when we know the weather couple with the fasting will hinder their comfortability.Mind you, this people use the holiday of the south to cover up

Nazgul:
Lol. I posted earlier that this is the best time to buy dollar cos the Naira is definitely going to crash.

Whatever the CBN is doing to sustain the Naira's current growth isn't already affecting our FX reserves. Meaning it's not sustainable so expect the Naira to crash anytime soon.
Hope you have bought sha?

Lukuluku69:
I think it is wrong to close Schools for Ramadan. You can reduce the School hours maybe but totally close it is not a good idea in my opinion. Never heard of anywhere where Schools are shut for a month because of Ramadan.

The excuse is that the weather is extremely hot and dry in the North this time of the year.

That said, fasting is open to kids from age 10.
Have you been to the North before?

AgricultureRe: Farmers Lament Drop In Food Prices Amid FG’s Moves To Reduce Inflation by Paramount01(m): 11:42pm On Feb 24, 2025
Almunjid:
The situation is quite difficult to comprehend, but it is the reality. The very individuals who rely on generators to offer phone charging services and those who profit from selling these generators often actively resist improvements in our power supply. Similarly, farmers, who continue to benefit from relatively moderate production costs, still prefer to maintain high food prices to safeguard their own financial interests.
Surprisingly, both groups frequently blame the government for the high cost of essential services and goods, effectively deflecting responsibility for a situation they have helped perpetuate. These behaviors highlight the complex, interwoven challenges we face in our pursuit of progress and the importance of addressing individual 'attitudes and mindsets' as we work to create a more equitable society.

Peace!
But that protest that you guys have stable light is a lie
AgricultureRe: Farmers Lament Drop In Food Prices Amid FG’s Moves To Reduce Inflation by Paramount01(m): 7:10pm On Feb 24, 2025
Almunjid:
The day members of the Association of Phone Charging Businesses stormed NEPA's office to protest against the improved power supply in my town, claiming it was harming their businesses, was the day I became truly disillusioned with Nigeria's issues. We Nigerians often create our own problems and tend to exploit each other, yet we consistently shift the blame onto our leaders. This incident showcased how we sometimes choose to prioritize short-term personal gains over long-term national progress.

Peace!
Na lie bro,is not possible

Tinubu's supporters will tell you it's because power has drastically improved in the country punch no longer have use for generators, as a matter of fact Nigerians from North to South, West to East all disposing of their generators because of the constant electricity the entire nation is now enjoying...if you state otherwise or you claim you are not enjoying this uninterrupted power supply you are an enemy of the country😂😂😂
Then why did you think they want to sell it?

Those of you saying misplaced priorities should rest.

Our society is spoiling because of the so called wokeness or librality.

Some people need iron hand to be tamed

Dress decent or you can relocate outside anambra to be dressing half naked.

Anambra is a discipline state

They can relocate to asaba to continue their mumu rotten life.

Women of this our generation are going insane because of the free hand given to them which was influnced by civilization. Before the white men came, they do respect themselves because our forefathers didn't give them that hand to be misbehaving.

Now, we have simps and weak men everywhere.
Just imagine this happen in any northern states, you will be the first to come here and shout

the question here is the inverter not the battery,
The inverter will carry the appliances first before know how long your battery can last on it

I have a 1000w inverter it carries only television and fan and and bulbs when I add any other thing like laptop it goes off
Nit everything once ,can I just on the inverter to power the fridge alone?
