Dtruthspeaker:
You mean church goers not Christ Likes "Christians".

And in truth, you both are the same with the difference being that church goers Truthfully Admit that they do fear death whilst you people lie because you are implementing one of the ways in which you people reduce your fear for it while trying to find a way to finally overcome your fear of it.

So, you are both the same.

But for Christians, it is different. Death respectfully greets us and waits for us. It is exactly like an executive driver sent who must wait outside for us to enter the vehicle.

It is not like you people where you are forcefully and roughly taken away like when police catches yahoo-yahoo people.
While you may be desperately trying to pass a message, let's not derail from the primary purpose of this post...'Jesus'

Our message is Christ Jesus, and acceptance of Him, not DEATH
Besides, the goal is to believe God, embrace him, do his will and fulfill purpose.

As children of God, genuinely saved and doing Christ's will, we are not slaves to sin, and because Christ has overcome sin and death, we have overcome same too, in that, the physical body will undoubtedly perish, but the spirit will live on in God's kingdom.

Yes, we are not to fear death as children of God because unto Jesus was given the key of death and Hell, and the keys to the kingdom.

Nevertheless, it is not in our place to say how a person's death will be, whether believer or unbeliever.
...death respectfully greets us....?
Please don't speak from head knowledge and let a good number of your messages be backed by scriptures.

Death comes in different forms, whether christian or non Christian, and the truth is that, we can't provide the reasons for this phenomenon, we don't know all things. There were a good number of apostles in the scriptures that died gruesome deaths, contrary to what you've said.

Whichever way death comes, the Bible asserts that for a believer, it would come when his purpose has been fulfilled.

On that note, we should live our lives doing God's will, so when our time comes, we go without regrets. Nonetheless, your earnest walk with God in uprightness of heart can result in your peaceful passing, but ultimately it is where a man goes after death that really matters, not how he goes.

Apostle Paul said...for me to live is Christ and to die is gain(Phil 1:21)

On that note, let's not dwell on how our death would be, but let's dwell on what we'll achieve, how we'll embrace God, how well we will serve God, and how we'll affect lives, to make heaven after life on Earth.

Thanks OP for bringing this here finally. See ehnnn, since my last 2 experience of writing and the outsourcer not paying, I have been running away from most writing gigs on Nairaland. Too many outsourcing scammers.

I like the approach of Pay as you Write. I will also use this approach. It's the best approach so far. Writer and outsourcer will be 50/50...

Any outsourcer wey no gree, is a potential SCAMMER.

Thank you OP once again.
That's just the bare truth...

Thanks @pg

In fact, hats off to all you said. I totally understand and ...coming from there. I believe anyone writing or would write for these kinds of people don't know they're walking blindly on hot coals and only to suffer the regrets of writing for the so-called scammers

As for your pay as you write approach, I totally support it. I like your strategies. They're on point. I once thought about them too. Like you also said, most of them disguise themselves as writers to support their foolishness. Such foolishness is their own downfall, seeing they lack consciences of their own. As a result they may realize their folly.

I'm curious and wondering. Who was that muslim guy you wrote about? Would you imagine? I have had similar experience with someone like that very recently who sort of seems to be this muslim anon. Do you have their contact? Does thier contact ends with 907 or 385? So that we can take action and let divepen1 be the judge. Let's not sleep about this kinds of cases.

Honestly, they are a thorn in the flesh. They are many of them around. Wolves looking to pounce and prey on innocent, hard-working souls who deserve better. Please, pray you don't fall a prey. I wish it's easier to spot them. But thanks pg for giving us the red flag to help us spot them well.

I need not write much, even as you shouldn't, too but everything is from the intent to express what we feel about inconsiderate and feckless scammers here and there.

The one that did me recently, this is for him. God sees my blood and sweat and wasted time that could have been used in doing something else and the abuse of talent that God will increase even those who have faced similar experience as writers.

It is well!
Thanks for your response.
That is truly the reality we face most of the time.
This particular guy's contact ends with 998 and 074, and turns out he paid me after much dragging, so I've let him off the hook. But my writing approach still stands, just to avoid future problems.

But I have a list of others who boldly blocked me without payment for my service. One of them, his contact ends with 2137, he is always changing his contact. I'm guessing because of the nonsense he does.

As for the other one, I've pretty much blocked him, especially because my experience wt him happened 2 yrs ago.... wasn't able to pin down his contact for blacklisting..lol.

If it's a 1,500 word task at pay of #2 per word, instead of getting paid only after you've completed the entire work, request payment for every 500 word progress.

When it's 500 words, you show the client, he makes his observations, you adjust it to his taste, and get paid. Don't continue wt the work until you're paid for the first 500 words, that is #1k.

After payment, you proceed wt another 500 words amounting to a total of 1000 words, get paid, that's #2k, before proceeding wt the last 500 words, and then payment for task completion. Total = #3k

Write it according to the client's instructions, but let it be 500 words first. Let the client make his judgements.
Edit the article to the client's taste. If he or she is feigning unsatisfaction with your work despite your efforts, and refusing to pay for the 500 word progress, know that he won't pay you even if the task is completed.

You can easily back off at this point because it's still in the 500 word stage and you've not lost much.

On the other hand, if the client is serious and already has the money at hand, he or she won't even argue wt you and he or she will work according to your terms from the onset.

What I'm saying is that, if the client was ready to pay you and not use you, they would be cool with paying you per every 500 Word Progress, but if this client, outsourcer, or who ever he is had contrary intentions from the onset, they won't go well wt your plans.

Make sure to state this condition and set your other terms before commencing work with anyone, just to avoid stories that touch.

This approach may be stressful at first but it is especially helpful when you're working with a client for the first time and when trust hasn't been built.

Over time, you get to know who you're working with and you can loosen up a bit with your terms.

I'm just saying.... Personally, I'll adopt this approach to avoid sorry stories.
I don't mind loosing the gig if the said client or outsourcer doesn't oblige. It is better than loosing money after spending your time, energy and data that would have been invested into other productive areas.

Scammers are real in every discipline guys. They are real!!!

Peace

Presently, I don't write for outsourcers again. Only blog owners or those that are directly affiliated to blogs, and with proof of course.

I think we writers who have been violated in this manner should all come together and jointly agree to adopt a new writing approach.

This approach is not necessarily down-payment before the commencement of a task. I'm saying this because evil people will take advantage, claim to be writers and scam honest outsourcers and blog owners under the disguise of being violated in the past.

Personally, I don't write full-time, I have other businesses I run, plus studies, and a lot of other things. I write as a side hustle to get little cash to take care of things.
If it were a full-time business, I won't classify the Routine #2 Per Word Writing as profitable at all. And I know some persons here even write for less.
Well, that's your problem!

I plan to adopt a new approach to pin down these scammers. I call it Pay as I write

Let's be honest guys... Serious clients don't stress you when it comes to payment. I've even encountered people that pay you the full amount before you start writing, not once, not twice.

I noticed that evil people under the disguise of outsourcers and even blog owners will never be satisfied with your work so they can frustrate you. I know this because these set of wizards will not complain after you send them samples of your previously concluded tasks.

But when you write gigs that are even higher quality than those samples you initially sent them, they always find errors. This implies that they will never be satisfied with your work. They only want to frustrate you till you let them off.

I believe that if writers request for payment per every 500 Words Progress with claims that they won't continue with the task unless paid for every 500-WORD PROGRESS, these scammers will find it hard to keep up, and their true intentions will be revealed

Let me expatiate–

The only long-term working relationships i had in all my writing years were with people who contacted me the right way, that is, through my Gmail.

Okay, back to my story

So I came across this outsourcer a few days back. I'm sure he's a Muslim, and I wonder where he got my contact...lol.

Told me to send some samples, said they were good.
He gave me a task which I completed and re-edited severally because he claimed the client was dissatisfied everytime.

He brought new writing instructions on the same task and claimed I wasn't following them, even though he didn't bring those instructions before commencement of the task.
I finally completed the task after following all his alleged client's instructions. Thereafter I requested payment, because it was already day 3 on a 1,400 words article.
He said to send my acct details and that was the last I heard from him.
I called him severally wt the two lines he gave me, no response.
So that's the story guys, and I'm guessing y'all know how it'll end if you've got similar experiences.
This is not the first time I'm coming across such persons, if I start to tell story ehn...matter no go finish.

One is still owing me since 2020 for the job of an ebook worth 25k. Another one 4k, that was last yr.

A preacher was driving home one night with his wife and two daughters in the car. It was dark, raining and intensely so and the pastor could hardly see past his headlights.

On the way he had to drive over a huge bridge. There were posted signs
"DO NOT PICK UP HITCH-HIKERS."

By the base of the bridge, there was an institution for the criminally insane and sometimes people would escape from it and try to catch a ride.

On this night, as the pastor slowly approached the bridge, a man suddenly appeared in the headlights.
He was soaked, standing in the middle of the road, frantically waving his shirt over his head and screaming.

The preacher's wife cautioned her husband,
"Oh please don't stop, try to drive around him!"

But the car was too close, the man was unavoidable, except to stop or drive over him.

As soon as the Pastor stoped, the man slapped his hand down on the hood of the car and continued screaming, at the top of his lungs, unabated.

The preacher felt something in his spirit, looked over to his wife and told her to lock the door after him and to not unlock it until he had returned.

His family understandably perturbed and crying, pleaded with him not to get out of the car.

He opened the door and stepped outside... He was immediately soaked from the rain.

As he approached the man, all of a sudden he could make out what the man was screaming,

"THE BRIDGE IS OUT! THE BRIDGE IS OUT! A BUS JUST WENT OVER INTO THE WATER!!!"

As these words registered in the pastor's mind, he looked back in the car at his wife and two daughters. He wrapped his arm around the man and wept in gratitude.

The preacher stood there with the man for the next half-hour in the middle of the road, waving his jacket above his head screaming to warn other commuters.

"STOP!!!!! THE BRIDGE IS OUT! THE BRIDGE IS OUT!"

For a lost and a dying world,
"THE BRIDGE IS OUT!"

For a people heading to a Christless Eternity,
"THE BRIDGE IS OUT!"

Where are the men and the women who will stand in the middle of the road and forbid people, not to perish?

HELL HAS OPENED IT'S MOUTH WIDE AND SADLY MANY ARE SPEEDING INTO IT

Where are those who will stand in the gap, on the streets, the highways and the byways to forbid multitudes with the Gospel of *JESUS CHRIST*, to warn others from going to such a horrible place?

Please SPREAD THE GOSPEL TODAY

Remember JESUS Loves us all and wants nothing, absolutely nothing but that we be saved ....

Please share this message to all your friends and even enemies, if any, both saved and unsaved.

THE BRIDGE IS OUT
...And Time is Running Out

If you choose not to share nothing will happen...
But let's assist others, since we're aware

Be Blessed

I think this problem is long overdue. I would say this is the 4th time this is happening to me since I started my writing career. I've been writing for approx 3 years now and I have to say, I don't encounter problems like this very often, but when I do, it hits me to my bone marrow.

so to the question...

How many of you have written for *certain nonentities who claim to be outsourcers, find new problems with a completed article, and prolong a 1.5k word article for 1 week just to frustrate you and make you let them go scott free without paying you for the same service that serious bloggers will appreciate.

Has anyone in the house encountered such challenges?
I'm guessing yes!

For some crazy reason, a lot of them are usually Muslims or maybe some related religion, based on my experience tho, I don't know about you.
I also do not know where the heck these wizards get your contact. For example, I don't post my contact wt my posts for security reasons, but these set of people manage to get it somehow.
That alone is a pointer to avoid them.

Helpful tip: If you know you haven't dropped your number on any thread and still find suspicious people contacting you for writing gigs out of the blue, you might want to stay away from them.

I don't stand here, claiming to be a know-it-all. The little I know of, I've shared with you. There is really no point in excessive argument.

I don't know what you may have been through in life to make such a conclusion about your religious standing. You seem like you had been associated with church and Christianity in the past.

If you fear God you will know and understand more mysteries because...the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom....

We are humans and we are limited in knowledge, but God knows it all. Why not we do the things he commands and leave the rest for Him.

1 Cor 1:25
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

Psalm 147:5
Great is our Lord and abundant in strength;
His understanding is infinite

Romans 11:33
Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways

You see many Christians suffering by just observing them?

Observation is not enough to know the full story.
Do you know whether they have fully surrendered their all to Christ before claiming the title of Christianity.
Do you know the generational problems and demons they may be carrying because they haven't attained complete deliverance, even though they are christians?
Do you know whether they have fully casted their burdens on the Lord or if they're are trusting Him half-heartedly?
Do you know if they are practicing at least a good percentage of Christian virtues Christ commanded us to do?
Do you know whether they are following basic Bible principles of ....'give and it shall be given unto you'....
&
Principles of tithing, bringing meat into God's storehouse...'paying tithe faithfully'... before their lives remained poor as you see?

Know that to get riches from God, there are certain principles you must follow.

Riches in biblical sense doesn't suggest you will be dangote, but you will enjoy peace of mind, good health, and comfort in an evil world if you follow basic biblical principles, while praying earnestly to God and still working hard.

It is the work of your hands that God will bless. He doesn't give you wealth from nothing, there must be a foundation.

Do you know whether those christians you observed are even working hard, or they're lazy waiting for manna to fall from heaven?

You don't Know many things because you are just an observer from the distance. Don't make assumptions from what you don't Know.

I'm a living testimony...when I truly surrendered all to Jesus and attained deliverance, my life changed for the better both academically, financially, and health-wise. I won't say I'm the richest person but I am comfortable and increasing in riches by God's grace.

If you are claiming to serve God and expecting promises from him but you don't trust Him fully, it's a waste of time. It's just like praying and not believing God can do what you're praying for. There are so many reasons the prayers of Christians are not being answered, and that's a topic for another day.

Note that...every human was already under a curse of death as soon as Adam and Eve sinned. Living in sin is damnation in itself, and there was hardly any hope for humanity until Christ came.

People that lived before Christ were judged based on their good and righteous standing, and it was exceeding difficult to see such persons.
That time, if man sinned, he had to kill animals and make burnt offerings. Today, you just need to pray to God sincerely in the comfort of wherever you are, and get answers. No offerings or sacrifices needed!

God didn't owe man anything when man disobeyed, all the promises and blessings were gone. Sin was replaced with the curses attached to it, and sin is a reproach to God, He doesn't behold it.

God repented that he created man..and wiped a generation of humans and saved Noah and family because of Noah's righteousness.

It is God's compassion for humanity, that made Him send Jesus to redeem us. Now our relationship with Him can be restored by only accepting Christ and walking in His footsteps.

Christ became a curse for us...
Galatians 3:13: “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: 'Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole. ... He took the curse of sin on himself so that every believer would be blessed rather than cursed.

2 Corinthians 5:18
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation

Yes, the poor will always be among us and that's reality, but why not choose the way of the rich.
The Bible doesn't describe riches by just what you've acquired on Earth as a person.

The virtues you possess are laid up as treasures in heaven...

Jesus said to cast your cares and burdens upon him. Have you tried that before concluding that he can't help you or anyone else out of poverty?....

hey question: could you give me an example of a disasterous thing can only happen to someone who is an atheist? also mention a good event that can only happen to a Christian.
kindly show us the verse(s) saying the children weren't holy.
Question 2:

Job 1: 8; Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?”

Job 1:13;
And there was a day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house:

The above scriptures depict the carousal nature of Jobs children in contrast to their fathers habit of maintaining quiet time daily, and walking with God uprightly.

While Job made offerings and prayed to God, his children did the exact opposite.

While celebration is not termed wrong, excessive partying without giving time to acknowledge God's presence and commandments is very wrong.

The Bible may not have directly painted the attitude of Job's children as evil, but the Bible did same indirectly, or however you see it because, when God evaluated the upright people in the land, Job's children certainly were not a part of that number. Job 1:8

They were not holy like Job their father because they didn't walk in his footsteps. We see this proof in God's testimony of Job as being the only upright fellow in all the land. Job 1:8

Sometimes, a lot of stories contained in the Bible may not come off as direct. You need prayer and understanding to be able to unravel these mysteries for your edification.

2Tim. 3 Verses 16 to 17
[16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

If you don't get correction from God's word, where else will you get it.
The Bible is not to be crafted to suit what people want to hear, but what God wants them to hear.

I know you are more interested in finding faults here, but I urge you to surrender your life to Jesus, pray, and get understanding for yourself.

Question 1(disastrous thing):

Check out Isaiah 65: 1- end

But let's start from vs 20

65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

65:21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.

65:22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

65:23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.

65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

You see all these blessings above, they are not for atheists, they are for the children of God.

The reverse is the case for atheists and unbelievers.

Check out from vs 1 to see the curses attached to a soul that is rebellious and does not regard God.

If you are knowledgeable about the scriptures in the minimum extent possible, that is, even baby stage of Christianity, you will understand that from Genesis to revelation, the Bible is replete with repercussions for those that do not believe God.

They are rebellious people who will end up in hell if they do not repent and accept Christ.

The ultimate disaster is 'spending eternity in hell fire' where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth....

Check out Isaiah 65, you will see that not believing God's existence and power alone is a curse in itself, and there are punishments attached.

The intentions of a worldly person and a godly person are different. This message isn't targeted towards only women.

Godly people guard their sexuality with a modest attitude and modest apparel that does not draw lustful attention. They seek to glorify God and not themselves. Their life shows the worship of God and not the flesh.

Isaiah 3:16-19 “The LORD says, “The women of Zion are haughty, walking along with outstretched necks, flirting with their eyes, strutting along with swaying hips, with ornaments jingling on their ankles. Therefore the Lord will bring sores on the heads of the women of Zion; the LORD will make their scalps bald.” In that day the Lord will snatch away their finery: the bangles and headbands and crescent necklaces, the earrings and bracelets and veils.”

The way that you dress reveals your heart directly or indirectly.

There is no getting around this. Immodesty shows a defiled heart. Immodesty shows ungodliness and spiritual immaturity.

No seemingly innocent or pure person will dress provocatively for no reason. It's one of two things – 1. he/she wants to attract attention to herself 2. he/she wants to look physically appealing #all eyes on me.

Both scenarios point to the same thing – Self glory.

Mark 7:21-23 “because it’s from within, from the human heart, that evil thoughts come, as well as sexual immorality, stealing, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, cheating, shameless lust, envy, slander, arrogance, and foolishness. All these things come from inside and make a person unclean.”

You need to work on your inner beauty and your outer beauty alike. You are so loved by Christ. You don’t need to prove anything to anyone. If you dress for sensuality you are sending out negative energy and you will attract ungodly people.

10. 1 Peter 3:3-4 “Your adornment must not be merely external—braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on dresses; but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.”

You don’t want to be a stumbling block to the brethren.

Professing christians must understand that not only are they a distraction when they dress immodestly, but they are competing against God for glory, attention, and honor.

Matthew 5:16 “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”

1 Peter 2:11 “Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul.”

14. 1 Corinthians 8:9 “Be careful, however, that the exercise of your rights does not become a stumbling block to the weak.”

Does your clothing give glory to God? If it doesn't, you're only bringing attention to you, turning heads, and glorifying yourself, which is sin.

Never forget that once you surrender your all to Jesus, your body belongs to Christ, and this should only be seen by others in your dressing, disposition, and relation with others. Just like Jesus Christ our perfect example.

New question friends...
Pls what are the requirements to register a domain on GoDaddy. I tried registering and when it was time for payment, they requested for a tax ID which I didn't have.

I'm thinking that was why the payment was unsuccessful, or was it perhaps my GT Bank card?
