�� *TEXT: ROMANS 2:21-22*

21 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?

22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?


�� *KEY VERSE: _Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye._*
(Matthew 7: 5)



God has saved you to live a holy life all the days of your life. There is a cloud of witnesses watching us. *They judge us with all we do; from our interaction up to all our characters.*

They expect us to live up to God’s standard. *Many times, people have rejected Christianity because of the behaviour of others who profess the same Christianity.*

*Matthew 7:1-5*

*_1. Judge not, that ye be not judged._*

*_2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again._*

*_3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?_*

*_4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?_*

*_5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye._*

Our scriptural text of today’s devotion asked us a very important question: *You that preach the gospel saying thou shall not steal, do you steal?* It is not enough to say it but to live it. You must live it for all to see. Saying it will not convince many but living it will.

*1 Timothy 4:15-16*

*_15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all._*

*_16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee._*

*Living the gospel is a means of preaching the gospel.* It will profit you and all that hear and see you.Living the scriptures means living the gospel. *You must first amend your ways before others can follow suit.*

You cannot amend other people’s ways when yours is not amended. You can only give what you have. *Do not live a life of a hypocrite as a Christian, you will lead many to hell and end up in hell yourself.*

Do your best with the help of the Holy Spirit to live holy and God will use you to bring many to Himself. *This is what God desires from you and me.* Let's do it good faith

Yes, God does not delight in a sinner

However, when a man sins, it is his ability to immediately rise up and plead for cleansing and forgiveness that God delights in...

That's what set David apart from Saul..."a broken heart"

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise....

being a worker in church doesn't automatically mean you are a genuine believer.
It's possible to be half-baked in the kingdom business even as a chorister or a Sunday school teacher in the church.

So if you are not all in, then you might just not be there yet.


14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
