FamilyRe: What’s The Worst Experience You’ve Had Ordering From An Online Vendor? by Parmzhelp: 12:19am On Apr 12, 2022
Well, I had a crazy experience as well.

Ordered a dress for my girlfriend, it ended up being almost completely different from what we saw. It was embarrassing because it was supposed to be a surprise gift.
FashionHow To Avoid What I Ordered Vs What I Got by Parmzhelp(op): 3:15pm On Apr 11, 2022
Shopping on social media is increasingly becoming popular. Instagram and Twitter are the new hotspots overtaking e-commerce platforms like Jumia and Konga. From beaut products to thrift clothing, furniture, hangout experiences and much more, you will find vendors on social media.

However, last year alone, identified scam cases tracked on Instagram by Nigerian buyers totalled N273,235,485. Unsatisfied transactions “what I ordered vs what I got” amounted to N84,399,140.

While a lot of Instagram vendors are honest and trustworthy, a few dishonest people have decided to take advantage of people’s trust and illicit fraudulent transactions. Here are 5 tips to avoid being scammed by Instagram vendors.

1.Check how old the account is
Scroll to the first post and check the date it was posted. Most scammers don’t have the patience to build an account over a long period of time for the purpose of scamming. The drawback to this is that legit businesses who are just starting out may be suspected too. Check other tips below to confirm.

2. Check comments on posts.
A major red flag is seeing several posts without any enquiry comment. This means a lack of activity. An active vendor will have interaction with potential buyers in the comment section. The comments also confirm activity. They could be questions about delayed deliveries, asking for the price or general negotiations. Illicit vendors delete comments from people they've scammed before.

3. Check for customer reviews.
Legitimate vendors will post reviews from previous customers. If you don’t see any reviews then you should be careful. fake vendors also create reviews so be careful. If anything seems off, don’t buy from them.

4. Reachout to followers.
Take out some time to message some followers of the account to ask if they've done business with the vendor. This may not be ideal because most accounts have followers who haven’t bought from them yet. But you may get some info when you get responses from these followers.

5. Use an escrow service.
Escrow services let you pay for the product but hold your funds until you’re received your order. Your money will be refunded if you don’t receive your order. Escrow services give the vendor the confidence that you’ve made the payment but it also protects you from scams as the customer. A reliable escrow service is SafeMono.com. They release funds to the vendor 12 hours after your order has been fulfilled or refund you if you didn’t get your order.

They will notify you that the seller has delivered. You can dispute if you've not gotten the delivery and they will not pay the seller until the dispute is resolved.

As soon as delivery is done to you, the cash will be deposited to the buyer. If they buyer doesn't fulfill, the cash will be refunded to you.

BusinessIf You Lock Me In A Hut For 30 Days And All I Have Is A Laptop And Internet.. by Parmzhelp(op):
If you lock me in a hut for 30 days and all I have is a laptop and internet, this is exactly what I will do to make at least N750k per month even if the economy went to the dogs.

I know you have heard about this a thousand times and you have overlooked it as I did for several years. After, more than 5 years as a digital marketing professional, I only decided to look into this field when an American mentor (I meet on Reddit) showed me how he was making over $1.7m every year from "Affiliate Marketing".

He taught me what most people were doing wrong and he showed me new strategies for a sustainable affiliate marketing business. Of course, this was not all for free. I wrote articles for him in exchange for his teaching (not like my services were worth so much to him anyway). He needed a lot of quality content and I help him with it. He revealed platforms where I could make the most money and strategies only a few (mostly Americans) knew and made so much from.

I will teach you how to get a page to rank on google in about 2 weeks
I will teach you how to create landing pages that will capture leads
I will teach you what email platforms you should use
I will teach how to create emails that grab attention and convert
I will teach how to register on those foreign platforms from Nigeria
And lastly I will teach you how to withdraw your funds
I will even show you where to get thousands of emails, for a dime

Duration 3-days intense class, 1-month mentoring.

Most of these will be free and if you're paying for some, they will be too small compared to the results

I will be damn if I do this for free. If you're interested in this, send “interested” to contactwang@gmail.com

Cost: N20,000

I am not hiding the price, because I don't have time to hear stories. If you want to change your finances, reach out to that mail.
BusinessMy Internet Millionaire Friends Shared 7 Ways They Make Money From Social Media by Parmzhelp(op): 4:30pm On Jan 18, 2021
Over the years, social media has evolved to be the most important invention man has come up with in this modern era. From Facebook to Instagram, to WhatsApp and Twitter, social media has become more than a platform for connecting with friends and families. Social media is a place and an essential tool for making money. Unlike the past, where having many social media followers were only used for mere show off, having a robust online presence on social media now has economic potentials.

If you have a strong following on Instagram or Twitter, you can utilize your audience’s potential to make money. In this ever-changing world, there is nothing impossible anymore. That is no sweet talk. It is possible to make money from your colossal audience on social media platforms without racking a nerve.

I met my internet millionaire friends and asked them to share top but simple ways to make it big online and they did. With this article’s help, you can now become part of the people who make millions on social media, not the ones who make memes.

How do you exactly make money from having many followers on social media?

1. Sell Physical Products.
The Dropshipping business has seen exponential growth because of the restriction in movement. More people will be shopping from home. Here's how it works. You set up your online store (usually Shopify), sell products on the store from suppliers on Alibaba for a price higher than what you got on the website, and then you run ads. When the customer orders and pays for the product on your website, you contact your supplier and they deliver the product from China directly to your customer, you take the profit. People have made millions of dollars running this model and why can't it be you?

2. Promote your services. If you have about five thousand followers on a social media platform such as Instagram, one of the first ways to leverage these followers is to promote your services. If you have a brand or anything you are selling. Aggressively and strategically promote your services. Leverage your strong online presence and drive more sales for your business.

3. Become an affiliate.
Becoming an affiliate is a great way to make money from having many followers on social media. Your job as an affiliate will promote a brand or its products on your social media page. That is usually done in the form of an affiliate link, which you will post. Once your followers click on the link, you earn commission by click on the link.

4. Become an influencer and make money from sponsored posts.
With huge followers on your social media page, you can approach popular brands to promote their products in your posts. Having many followers gives you the status of an influencer. To an extent, you can convince your audience about trends because of the level of trust you have built with your online presence. Brands tend to partner with people that have a vast online presence. If you have many followers on social media, it will be easy for you to help brands with sponsored posts. Per sponsored post that you help promote, you make thousands of naira from it.

5. Start a partnership program.
There are partnership programs that you can join and make money from. For instance, if you are a content creator and enjoy making content in videos, you can try out vlogging by joining the YouTube Partner program. Through your massive following on your social media accounts, you will be able to drive traffic to your Vlog. In the process, you make money by doing what you love to do.

6. Obtain Freelance Clients
I have met a couple of frees who secured freelancing gigs through their social media handles. They were active and consistently posted valuable tips in their area of expertise. In fact, in today's world, it is one of the prerequisites during your job interview. At the New York Times office, all staff members are required to have a Twitter account and to keep it active. So start posting valuable tips and info today and who knows, your next client may be one of your followers. A lot of people have secured seed funding from Clubhouse, a new audio-only social media platform. Comment if you're on Clubhouse grin

7. Create Instagram Stories Masks and Photo Filters
I didn't know this was a thing until last year when I ran into one guy's profile. He's a Nigerian based in Dubai and he's a graphics designer. Apparently, you can create photo filters and stories mask and charge for them. For example, Carmen Kroll, a German Influencer, has managed to get over 3 billion views of her filters and she’s now collaborating with other influencers and charging $7.62 for each filter.

So guys, share yours? How have you made money using your social media accounts?
