Also, I would recommend that you apply to at least four schools. One of the schools should be one in which the applicant pool for your course is not extremely competitive, in order to have at least one "safety" school.

If you were best in your class you have a really good chance. You will need one of your recommenders to mention this in the recommendation letter tho. They'll need to say how many people were in your class too. What school did you go to and how many people were in your class?

Also, pls package yourself extremely well. As in, an excellent SOP. Check one of my posts from a few days ago for my thoughts on the content of an grad school application SOP.

I just checked my mail and saw that I'm required to perform a medical test to enable them complete my application. God is indeed wonderful. I did my biometrics on 12th May. University of Calgary, MSC is my program of interest. Yours is next!

Competition is tight for this course and schools are few dat offer it..To even get MEng in some schools is difficult..Bt who says u can't try?Check out Uni of Calgary, alberta, Dalhousie(already full for next year sef)..U can look at process engineering for sth close..Goodluck!
