its good to realise that Nairaland has gotten the attention of chief executives who can even advice their loyal staff to register and fight for them. lamex22, you are welcome to Nairaland, I hope you'll contribute immensely to other issues apart from playing IBplc advocate. We don't have to get abusive over this matter. the simple truth is for people to use their wisdom and decide who to bank with, After all, no bank in their selfish nature gives any benefit to their customers. As for me and my household we have decided to bank with ![]() ?. lamex22 welcome once again to Nairaland. |
This is interesting, I won't be supprised if all the pro-IBPLc posts are comming from one person. The truth is, whether they are going distressed or not, I have withdrawn all my money from that bank, my accounts with them are as good as closed. The issue here is not about bad belle or not, its about bank managements insensitivity to the welfare of their customers. They increased ATM charges to 50, they introduced 100 internet maintenance charges (don't know what they are maintaining), they charge SMS fees. meanwhile they cannot offer a single benefit to the customer (just like other Nigerian banks). I'll advice everyone to ignore the above posts and follow their hearts. if you are having any doubt about the bank, move your money to a more secured bank, afterall its you money. But let no one come here and cry one day that his/her money is trapped in one bank. in this era of economic downturn, we all need to tighten our belts and shine our eyes well well. |
I believe we should fight this daylight robbery, they are just coming up with lies as excuses, just give them two months they will come back to the floor, pay or promise some people certain percentage and then apply for a public offer. The regulators are suppose to be mentors but I can't differentiate them from people who raid banks, the only difference is that gun is involved in one. We need to fight this. Does anyone have an idea how we can collectively or individually persuade this criminals in suits to stop this satanic act and do what is right?. |
I'll advice you @poster to become more productive and use your time effectively, your post shows your level of reasoning, I know many HND guys who are heading many First class Bsc guys even though the graduated the same time, what do you say to that. Start thinking of been an employer because your script might be marked by an HND and you know what?? You might not even score up to 20% (I guess u had 3rd class) anyway all degree is degree, Lazy man. |
@akadang, The only thing different in the online studies is that you won't be physically present in the institution, but you will still pass through the rigorous academic activities of an institution. You will be given a Bsc qualification that is the same as that obtained by students who studied in the campus, although this program is mainly for people with HND (kind of a top-up program). In Nigeria, just like every other place, once you present a valid certificate that is obtained from a recognized institution nobody will be interested in knowing if it was online or on-campus, also note that the qualification will be Bsc Hounours and not Bsc-online Hounours. Drop your email address and I’ll send you the school details so that you can check them out. |
@akadang I'm almost in the same situation as you have narrated, I also have HND, a great Job, wonderful investments and I even have people with fist class Bsc working under me, but the truth is that sometimes I see great opportunity that I would have comfortably taken, but the HND stuff keeps on presenting itself as a bottle neck. last year I got MSc admission in Uk without any PGD but I didn't take it up, just because I know that one day one man will still question 'WHY HND', You don't have to spend two years to get your Bsc, and remember that you won't loose anything by obtaining the Bsc. You have the means, so please for an obstacle free tomorrow go for Bsc before Msc. This is what I am doing presently, which I'll advice you to do. There are very good schools in Uk that offer Bsc Hounour (though Computer science or information technology) through online studies, this program is for one year full time or two years part-time, in all you'll spend like N1m, without leaving your present job. After one year you'll get your Bsc, you can then go ahead with your Msc in the same school or another school of your choice. Its just a humble advice, I hope it guides you in making your decision. All the best. |
