These are young minds that don't want to install solar panels but increase efficiency of panels and actually engineer panels.

Overview

Solynta Energy is seeking 2 Apprentices based in Lagos to install residential and commercial photovoltaic systems. The position will initially involve a 2 month probationary period during which training will be provided by one of our experienced Solar Power Installation Engineers. After this period a performance review will be carried out and the offer of a permanent position considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Carry out energy audits to gauge the clients energy needs. This is a vital part of the process in designing a solar system that meets the clients requirements

2. Pre-assemble job components prior to installation

3. Layout and assembly of solar modules, structural mounting of racking, electrical wiring of system

4. Document completion of completed installation

5. Clean up of job site

6. Additional duties as required

JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview

Solynta Energy is seeking 2 Apprentices based in Lagos to install residential and commercial photovoltaic systems. The position will initially involve a 2 month probationary period during which training will be provided by one of our experienced Solar Power Installation Engineers. After this period a performance review will be carried out and the offer of a permanent position considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Carry out energy audits to gauge the clients energy needs. This is a vital part of the process in designing a solar system that meets the clients requirements

2. Pre-assemble job components prior to installation

3. Layout and assembly of solar modules, structural mounting of racking, electrical wiring of system

4. Document completion of completed installation

5. Clean up of job site

6. Additional duties as required


QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates MUST be a qualified Electrical Engineer with at least one years field work experience

2. Excellent customer service skills
3. Ability to thrive in a team
4. Flexible, can-do attitude
5. Ability to travel to locations outside Lagos to carry out work
