I hope this brings up the arguments again. I was born into a catholic home of devout catholic parents. I left the catholic church because of the grace of God indeed. I also had to do some thinking for myself. When i see people kneeling in front of a statue of Jesus and crying out prayers in frustration, and also in front of the statue of Mary (who was just like every other woman on earth), it baffles me, and they come here to claim that they only honor her. I am afraid for the 100s of millions who are trapped as catholics that would eventually be eternally trapped in hell.

Why are u praying to saints. Where was it mentioned in the Holy bible. Why do u think that carrying a prayer book (pieta) around in your bags, cars or under you pillow is safety.

The bible says if you have faith as little as a mustard seed you can say to a mountain be moved from here to yonder and if there is not a doubt in your mind it will obey you. Not Jesus Christ, but you.

There is a greater life in the functionality of the Holy spirit in the life of man.

Thanks Joagbaje. But seriously dare2think. You can take the pastor to the court and he will be prosecuted, he will be condemned in the eyes of men but not in God's eyes if he asks God for mercy. But i will ask you this question, What Will Jesus Do??

Who needs to judge in that case. It is clear for everyone to see. The actual judgment in this case would be when people say things like he will go to hell, God has left him, nothing good will ever come out of him, and so on. We do not see beyond our noses as non biblical humans. Men in bible days have offended God in extreme measures and still got a nod from the Almighty Father. Who are we to then say He fornicated and so he is doomed, the Spirit of the Lord has left him.

That's what i was trying to say.

Well i am not saying this to mean that some pastor are better than the other, cos the bible expressly instructed that "we should not judge", My pastor Rv. Sam Adeyemi. Drives himself and wife to church every sunday. No tinted glasses, no convoy nothing. I just believe that people are different and do things differently , having cogent justification for their actions. So i wont say it is bad, My pastor has follower-ship but not as much as some other pastors. It might just be for crowd control as well.
