After we lost to Grimsby I said we should sack Amorim before the season goes to waste and this guy was quoting me with pre-season snide remarks. Prior to that we had never had any type of argument before and I never said anything about Amorim needing a pre-season.

I think we need to move past it...Some of the guys even defending Amorim now are doing it to provoke some of you because I am certain that a lot of them got fed8with Amorim at some point and called for his sack. Why don't you guys see those post where they conceded that Amorim had failed after he had his chance with the team?

While you felt that Amorim needed a TW and preseason, some of us didnt even argue but pointed out the obvious fact that the resources on ground were far better than the dreadful performances and results we saw on a weekly basis - the types that eventually landed us our worst ever PL finish since God knows when.

On numerous occasions, empirical data was provided to backup these salient points but y'all allowed emotions to take over and when there wasnt anything left to defend Amorim with, threats of "blocking" + unmitigated gaslighting, na im we begin see for here.

The dude that was blocked, knows why he was blocked. It's all arguments and counter arguments but when a supposed adult comes to the party with insults and snide remarks, he leaves you with no option than to use the block button for what it is meant for.

I d not regret that I supported Amorim at that point. If you read one of the post the dude highlighted, you'd see that I clearly said if we lost more games going forward, I'd be very concerned...I want to believe we had just lost to Arsenal in a game we dominated them for the first time in a while, so it was shocking that people rushed in here to castigate the coach like it was one of the team's bad outing.

I was consistent in my opinion, for me, I believed that Amorim needed at least a pre season and a transfer window to get his preferred players to play his style. When he was given the opportunity but failed, I didn't stick to my position for fear of your opinion of me, I called for his sack. You can dig if you want to or choose not to see it...

Arguments should be backed by sound logic. Amorim did well enough at Sporting for us to give him a chance with his own players before demanding for his head...

Why I find your guys argument tiring is that neither side will change places and Amorim is long gone. It is pointless to keep going at the opinions people held with so much energy and drive. To what end?
