Life. This man was mean and wicked to his workers. Same man dehumanised some workers few years ago. Stripped a married woman naked, asked people to beat her, and had all the evils recorded on tape... simply on accusations of theft

DeLaRue:
Mr Amaechi is defenestrated politically.

He is keeping low. That's his only choice until Mr Tinubu leaves office.

Nor can he go back to grievance-riven Pdp or join Labour party. No obvious political pathway for him right now.

Even after the current administration goes, I don't see a way back to the political heights he reached previously. Highly unlikely under APC because of the way he reacted after losing Apc primary, and his refusal to accept or acknowledge the President.

Things like that are not easily forgotten in politics. He is now inconsequential.

Well spoken

Science/Technology / Re: What's The Use Of Padlock Hole? by Patriotic9ja(m): 12:19pm On Apr 23
It is called a pin hole or drain hole.

The pinhole on your padlock acts as a drain hole. The hole on the bottom of a padlock allows water to drain. This prevents the padlock's internal mechanisms from rusting, so they can continue to function properly. When the water is removed, it also can't freeze inside the lock under cold temperature conditions

No the purpose isn't defeated
When I had a job, I was in the habit of giving even to the last Kobo knowing fully well end of the month won't fail. If I had known, all those folks that used to run to me after Saturday football match and begging for one favor or the other, I would have made it clear to them that I am helping them so that they too could repair me.
Some of them I used to help don't even act as if they know me anymore.
The period when a person loses their job provides an opportunity to have a clear view of who the people around him really are.
I learnt the hard way. I am still learning sha

All what you said are correct and also contextual. Enjoy your day.

Staying wicked is the only way to surf this wicked world🎯🎯

@bolded, that must be the lesson you learnt I guess. While you're right based on your experience. We can't get the better world we hope for if we all decide to "stay wicked". Forgiveness is important. You can change the circle. Meanwhile we don't help because we want to be helped in return. Hence the purpose is defeated

Best comment. This summarises it all. Same applies to Obidients. They blame everyone else except themselves. They never take responsibilities for their actions/mistakes. But very quick to boast and take credit if the result is good.

Your class of degree is an edge. You should be encouraged they replied you. I’m sure that was listed in their requirements before you applied.

BTW, do away with this your victim mentality o. Any small challenge, social media!

Exactly 💯. Very sad. Now he is framing and anchoring the whole thing to gain sympathy, act like a victim, and paint the company bad. Just so unfortunate that people won't take responsibilities for their poor choices and performance. Soon they will say na the country and bad leaders cause am. They didn't see orphans without support that graduated with 1st class and doing great

Sweet heart Don’t judge the book by its cover.
Not everyone who graduated with a third class are dull or unserious when in school.
Life happens to anyone academically, financially, health wise, businesses and so on.
I went to a state university and I paid my tuition fees ALL by myself, I had little time to attend lectures and study my books being a commercial bike rider and laundry service provider just to pay my bills back then. It wasn’t an easy ride for me.
I don’t blame anybody, I take responsibility for my actions.
I still Thank God I’m not where I used to be.

The bitter truth is, your excuses are not tenable. You fending for yourself while in school sef should have been a means of motivation towards coming out with flying colours.

We really need to take responsibility and stop this victim's card games. I can list many people who had less privileges than most of us here but were able to take responsibilities and achieved so much that history can't ignore or forget them.

3rd class is like certificate of attendance. We need tell ourselves the truth. 98% of people with 3rd class have no excuse for their poor grades.

Meanwhile 3rd class is not a one time event.... it's a process for crying out loud. You can't say you were sick for 4 good years and made you unable to read, neither will you say because you didn't pay your school fees on time was the reason to have consistent poor grades in at least 8 semester exams..... Now you brought this to socialmedia for usual sympathy/victim's card and paint the company bad.

Applicants are too much, hence the screening process starts with meeting the minimum requirements to be shortlisted

This guy ain't smart at all.

When Acting President Osinbajo allowed your release back then what did you do?

1. You formed Biafra Secret Service.
2. Started parading yourself as paramount ruler of SE.
3. Your convoy was obstructing other road users including military patrol teams
4. You desecrated sacred lands in Anambra state
5. Organising rallies and calling for protests, destruction of properties, killing of security personnel etc
6. Worst of them all, you boasted that you will go to Abuja and bring the head of Buhari to Biafra land. A whole President and Grand Commander Federal Republic of NIGERIA 🇳🇬
7. Endsars.... you masterminded the destruction of properties, killing of security personnel especially in Lagos and Rivers states...
8. Only you formed ESN to destabilise entire SE
9. You forcefully ordered sit at home in SE giving rise to oppressions, killings, torturing, kidnappings, and general insecurity in entire SE and almost entered PHC if not for Wike that decimated your boys
10. You asked your boys to disrupt elections in SE, thus attacked and killed some INEC officials and law abiding citizens....

The list is just too much. By now they should have pronounced judgement on you for all your atrocities. Minimum of life in prison with hard labour.

So Nnamdi Cownu sabi beg? Yeye dey smell. Welcome to the zoo refublic

Properties / Re: Roofing Sheet Price List In Nigeria (2020 Vs 2024) by Patriotic9ja(m): 10:50am On Mar 19
Nwodosis:

These are the problems we are having in the aluminum industries, whether it foreign or local materials, a gauge is a gauge, it is measure of thickness and not a name of materials. I was given the below material as 0.55mm but when I brought my Digital point microscrew meter gauge, the grammar changed, Oga na so we dey call am, na 0.55 we dey call am.

Beautiful. This is what we call evidence based response 👏.

Just last week I got a quote from a portacabin company in Abuja. While negotiating the exorbitant price, the engineer told me their price is higher because they use thicker frames compared to other competitors.

So I asked what's the thickness.... with pride he said 5mm. So I asked him where are the samples. He showed me in their warehouse. Being an engineer (practical one), I knew it was less than 5mm and are 3mm merely seeing them. So I argued with him that they aren't up to 5mm. But he insisted. Luckily my toolbox was in my car and I brought out measuring tape..... lo and behold it was actually 3mm.

Suddenly his face was deflated like a punctured tyre.....and started struggling for words to explain himself. Guys you need to be smart otherwise people go run you street and still expect a big "Thank you" gesture from you.

You easily win cases or arguments by presenting facts 💯 like the quoted moniker did. Not just baseless claims without backings. Otherwise, "you go explain tire, no evidence"

You're still missing my point; whether you're doing so intentionally or not, I can't say.

Anyway, I leave you to your thought, view & opinion about this policy. I already stated mine up there & I stand by it.

I wish Nigeria well.

Have a good night rest.

Both of you are right. Just that in the context of the news... the government is not trying to address why they are leaving neither preventing them from leaving. But the executive order is to ensure they leave lawfully and morally. You can japa to seek greener pastures but resign so others in Nigeria can fill the slot.

Personally I'm a proponent of our professionals working outside our shores. This will create rooms for other people within the country to get employment. We too can become expatriates in foreign countries
