You asked where I am from I answered. Now you want to know my ethnically as of my ethnicity matters in a subject of anthropology. You asking me my ethnicity and ranting about mix blood and marriage shows you want me to be sentimental like you rather than logical.

When you grow up come back with facts and logic not anti igbo sentiments

PS. I did say Akan up till igbos are all descendants of a proto - culture..
Tell me your ethnicity

Proudly Yoruba. If only we had our own country, we would have built our own electricity, good roads, fast speed underground trains, fast better internet, better health care system, better education system, better security, and better housing system. We would even keep records of population, citizens' ages, birth and mortality rates. We will build and travel to other African countries( Biafra, Ivory coast, Ghana) with fast trains just like European countries do.
Nothing can hinder a country's progress when they share same culture, language and vision.

Nigeria
I know you will never tell me your tribe. It is either your wife is Ibo or you are mixed blood. No be me put inside wahala. You allowed stupidity in the form of love to take over you. You married an Ibo person and you are begging us to accept you. Anyways, don't share anything in common with Ibos. Yorubas are more similar with Fongbes and Akans and not Ibos. I happened to have lived in Benin and Togo to notice.
Ibos share more in common with central Africans. The facial feature is there. Even Ibos are aware of this.
Besides, there is nothing like Nigeria ethnic group. Nigeria does not have a language or culture. It is a British experiment

Well based on this argument of yours, i give up. No need to make you see more senses on this issue.
DIVERSITY itself is indeed STRENGTH which is also called TOLERANCE even after lots of differences of cultural, social, physical, linguistic, religious, political, ideological, psychological, behaviors etc. the ability to tolerate each other is STRENGTH while UNITY is ONENESS in VARIETIES.

So there would never be UNITY as a word is there are no DIVERSITIES. In other word, if you say STRENGTH is UNITY or if i say DIVERSITY is STRENGTH they are both the same.

Thanks.
You are wrong. Diversity and unity are not related at all. Diversed countries find unity hard to achieve. The more diverse a country is, the less it becomes united. No country can be strong when her citizens are not united. Unlike you and many Yoruba, I am a realist. Nigeria is not united so stop deceiving yourself. Nigeria should be split

Ok sir, i will spare you my craps. But remember, you don't judge a whole nation just because of a few bad ones. I have met few good ones and also few bad ones too even the same can be also said about my tribes men, the Yorubas. I can't make you like them but you might never know what the future holds, an Igbo man might be your only silver lining to breaking through in life. Remember God uses things we so much detest to teach us lessons and humble us.

I like Igbos and other tribes also, they are wonderful people. There is strength in our diversity and it is called multiculturalism.

An adage says "THERE IS NO PEACE FOR THE WICKED"
Quit HATRED so that you can know PEACE.
SHALOM.
There is no strength in diversity but in unity. Diversity does not make a country stronger. It makes them weaker. A country with unity only grows stronger

Goood
But I will have you know that buhari is against secession.so put a stop to your whinnings about secession and instead start campaigning vigorously for one Nigeria/Sai Baba.

So now,be it know to you that it is safe to say the likes of buhari shall reign and rule over you, your children, your household, your family and your generation forever, amen. Amin. Isee

Lols! Why are you crying like this? Of course, I know Buhari doesn't support secession. Does any leader support it? Atiku or Saraki? Reality is that if anyone does, I will support him. As far as Buhari is in power, other people - especially Ibos will keep agitating for Biafra. Of course Saraki and Atiku will be weak leaders when they rule. This will make it very easy for Nigeria to split when the agitation become intense. But the reason why this Biafra agitation exist today is because you Ibos lost out politically and you are looking for how to get back to power using the back door. In other words, if Saraki becomes president tomorrow, you will start preaching 'one Nigeria' to we secessionists.
I don't want that. Buhari must rule so that the country will continue to divide. Biafra agitation must continue.
Sai baba.
Buhari must win.
Split Nigeria

Did you make any sense in what you just typed?
Everyone knew buhari to be a tyrant,a failure,a tribalist,a jihadist with vendetta, even our dogs knew but still, you ewedus teamed up with the retrogressive north to bring him in and you expect people to tap you on the back and say well-done,huh?
And true to type,he starts talking about 95%/5% and you expect people not to remember you betrayals!

You Yoruba ain't the only one who voted for the jihadist Sai of a baba, the north also did.
But intelligent folks know about the backwardness of the north and their Muje ways. But what intelligent folks found appalling was the stupidity of the so called SOPHISTICATED PEOPLE in cutting off their own noses just to spite their faces.

Be honest and truthful to yourself, you have been calling for Nigeria's disintegration for about a year or two now, tell us why you weren't doing so before buhari came on board? Why are you doing so for your beloved Nigeria, why don't you campaign again for buhari? Are you not happy with buhari and Nigeria? Please,be a patriotic citizen and support one Nigeria under your beloved buhari.

Fyi,believe it or not,I ain't Igbo but I support Ipob 100%
Lols! Unlike you Ibos, I have been supporting seceession for over 5 years. You did not even answer my question. How come every Ibo that supports Biafra always feel bitter that Yorubas did not vote for Jonathan? You are telling you are agitating for Biafra because Jonathan lost?
Anyways, I still support Buhari for a second term. I have never hidden it. I will support Buhari over a million Jonathan.

Yes igbos are closer to congloese than for example yoruba but igbo are still descendants of the same common ancestors with Yoruba. Evidence in DNA analysis, linguistic and cultural elements prove this

There is nothing like igbo facial features, that's just stereotypical

There is no stereotype anywhere. Ibos and Hausas look different from Yorubas. I can easily recognise an Ibo when I see one

So you are telling me IPOB were attacking Yorubas because they did not vote for Jonathan? When we say that this agitation began because you lost 2015 election, you flat.heads would refute it. You have just exposed yourself. Majority of you don't support Biafra. You are just pained Yorubas didn't vote for that ineffectual clueless buffoon calle Jonathan

Then maybe more Yorubas should be like you and join in the agitation for breakup of the country. Isn't IPOB one of the reasons why Yorubas insult Igbos online? If Yorubas get as aggressive as Igbos are about the breakup of Nigeria, then the northerners will take it more serious, and that may end up becoming a reality.
Ipob insult Yoruba all the time. How do you expect Yoruba people not to mock them? Anyways, there Yoruba people that want this country to split. I do hope we have leaders that share same thought

So what do you do when your tribesmen throw the first shot? We all know that sometimes, Yorubas initiate the insult, mockery and attacks. Other times, it is the Igbos. The truth is that we all either feel okay or indifferent when our tribes are on the offensive, yet become annoyed the moment our tribes are on the receiving end. Once in a while, I caution Igbos that do that, but most times I keep silent. We are all guilty in one way or the other.
Yes we are all guilty. This is why it can never end. It has been like this and will continue like this. Even on Facebook and other websites, Yorubas and Ibos don't get along. This is why I say splitting the country is the best solution.

See, I've had an account on Nairaland probably long before you knew there was a forum called Nairaland. The attack between Yorubas and Igbos started long before 2015 elections. I can't categorically tell you which side initiated it, but it's been there for long. Those days, Igbos used to mock Yorubas and call them cowards and backstabbers while Yorubas used to call Igbos drug dealers, fake drug sellers, baby factory operators etc. The main cause of the fights then was centred around the civil war.

Talking about Jonathan marginalising Yorubas, remember that SW had the slot for Speaker of HoR under Jonathan, but being that SW was mostly ruled by ACN opposition party, they aligned with Tambuwal who is from the North West and voted him to be Speaker against their SW PDP candidate. That was the reason why SW had no principal officer under Jonathan.

I don't hate Yorubas. As a matter a fact, some of my friends are Yoruba, and I relate well with them. I feel bad when Yorubas attack Igbos here, just the same way you feel bad when Igbos insult Yorubas, but let's remind ourselves that it goes both ways on Nairaland. Any time you see me engaging in such petty tribal fights, know that I am responding to somebody else who has insulted my race.

If there are people that will wish for an end to be put to all the inter-tribal wars all over social media, I am one of them. And please, stop calling me a liar. I hate that. You can disagree with me, but don't call me a liar. None of what I have said is a lie. You may not fully agree with them cos you are seeing things from a different perspective, but that doesn't make my view lies. Thank you.
Whenever I attack Ibos, it is because they insult my tribe. I also want this hate to stop. Unfortunately, it can't. Hence, my support for Nigeria disintegration. Everyone should go their separate ways. We will do better our own
