Everyone needs to join their voice to this issue. Let's start from Ganduje. He must go to jail so that others can learn. |

Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin (RTD) is a man of many accomplishments. There really comes a time in a man’s life when his achievements are written in the stars, his own time is now! Usman Jibrin is a man of prospects whose leadership qualities in our country’s defence sector are acclaimed globally. He is the man whose leadership qualities have translated into the Nigerian Navy being accorded the accolade as one of the best naval forces in Africa and the world in general. Usman Jibrin’s leadership acumen and achievements are pointers that in a world where the status quo has seemingly immovable inertia, change could happen, and in a world that oftentimes seems to be spinning out of control, he has the courage to embrace the audacity of hope. He is an ardent believer in the change mantra and the possibilities that it presents for our state of Kogi and its people. The message of possibility and personal empowerment from the stories of his achievements in life moved so many people and caused an unstoppable groundswell of support for his call and eventual entrance into the political space of Kogi State. His political beliefs tally with the wishes and aspirations of the Kogi masses, and today he is regarded as the best among the gladiators ready to contest for the seat of governor of Kogi State in the November 11, 2023 gubernatorial election in the state. This simple message of change that the people can see has propelled them to laud him over and over again. Today, it is a fact that the problem with our state is that of leadership. Consequently, our people are clamouring for a leader who deals in hope, and the hope they see is retired Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin. Our people, having swallowed the bitter pills in the past to make our state great without results, this time around want to show that they have matured democratically. Kogites now know a good leader when they see one. Obviously, a golden fish has no hiding place! We have seen that the leadership qualities of Akpabana are translucent, he is the kind of leader we want for our dear state. The greatest leadership quality of Usman Jibrin is his inspiring charisma. To complement his inspiring charisma is his ability to inform and transform. He has been known to often give people the tools and information they need to focus and develop. Some of the leadership traits inherent in Usman Jibrin that make him the candidate to beat in the coming election are: conviction and perseverance; we-not-I attitude; taking risks; the art of communication; turning endings into new beginnings. Throughout his time as chief of the naval staff of the country, he has shown positive traits. For example, he remade the image and operations of the Nigerian Navy—an attribute that he is positively coming into politics with. Jibrin has the attribute of remaking the image of his party and, in the process, attracting average voters and the middle class to the party. Usman Jibrin’s style is classified as dedicated to making progress, optimism, and confidence. He has always declared that Kogi can only make progress when people have a chance of living their dream, and he is committed to just that. He is proving that he will make Kogi State the best and greatest it has the potential to be. He has a lot of personal organisation, personal charm, and self-criticism, qualities that are absent in many leaders today. I assure you Kogites that Usman Jibrin will positively affect Kogi state in ways that no leader has ever done. To him, leadership means bringing people together in pursuit of a common goal, developing a plan to achieve it, and staying with it until the goal is achieved. He has a vision and plan for the goals he wants to achieve for Kogi State and has developed a realistic blueprint for how he wants to get there. He wants to attract talented, committed Kogites with a wide variety of knowledge, perspectives, and skills to get the work done. He believes that in the new Kogi state he seeks to build, lasting positive results are achievable if leaders practice inclusion and cooperation rather than unilateral authoritarianism. He shall belong to all Kogites, irrespective of class, gender, tribe, or religion. If our state needs a leader with the attributes of steadfastness in pursuit of goals, flexibility in determining how best to achieve them, the courage to make a hard decision and the confidence to stay with it and explain it, and the common sense to listen to others and involve them, then it is Usman Jibrin. A leader who will admit when a mistake is made and when a given policy is not working, a leader who will trust others, will trust his instincts as well as his intellect. A leader, if the objective is to get things done on a matter that is important as well as controversial, will be able to compromise and know the line he can’t cross. That leader is Usman Jibrin. This 21st century admistrator learned when he was very young to respect the human dignity of everyone he met, to observe them closely, and to listen to them carefully. He is aware that everyone has a story, but not everyone can tell it. Most of our problems are self-inflicted, and leaders must solve them; Usman Jibrin shall solve the problem of Kogi state. He is the best candidate for the job. Vote for Accord Party, vote for Akpabana. Comrade Sunday Christopher Media Aide To Usman Jibrin

Says Plot to Reward PDP Loyalists at the Expense of the Real Progressives is Dangerous and a Disservice to the Party A cross-section of the founding members of the All Progressives Congress in Abuja on Wednesday have kicked against the mandate secretaries appointed by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja. The leaders who crave for anonymity while reacting to the recent appointments made by the former Governor of Rivers State, his Excellency Nyesome Wike, said it highly disservice to the All progressives Congress as a party and the leaders of the party who worked day and night for the party not to be rewarded with such appointment of magnitude but only for the Ministers to be rewarding People's Democratic Party members with such appointment at the detriment of the real progressive. The Leaders said that the appointment of Wike as a minister representing Rivers State at the Federal Executive Council is not a license for him to see the Federal Capital Territory as a reward mechanism for his people without recourse to protect the interest of the party that honored him with such position. The leaders went on to call on the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, His Excellency, Ganduje to please look into the deprivation and marginalization going on in FCT and redress it now before it gets out of hands. The newly appointed Mandate secretaries , who are PDP card carrying members are Bitrus( Area Council Services Secretariat), Lawal Kole Geidman(Agriculture and Rural Development Secretariat) Danlami Ihayyo(Education) Dr.Adedolapo Fasawe(Health and Human Services Secretariat) others are Barrister Salama Dako (Legal Services Secretariat) Barrister Chinedum Elechi( Economic Planning Revenue Generation and PPP) and Arch Uboku Tom Nyah( Transportation). According to them, the newly appointed mandate secretaries must be suspended with immediate effect to give room for real party members who are more capable to assume the roles. They said unanimously that if no action is taken by the president and the party to redress the injustice meted at the party's actors they won't mind to demonstrate openly expressing their grievance and the injustice. The crisis rocking the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is far from over as elected female National Executive Committee (NEC) members and all Zonal Women Leaders from the six geopolitical zones have called for the immediate resignation of the party's National Women Leader, Dr Betta Edu. While addressing a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday, the women unanimously demanded for her resignation following the recent resignations of the National Chairman and Secretary of the party. The women leaders stated that Edu is also guilty of the crime that forced the resignations of the two senior party officials. They added that there is no difference between Sen. Abdullahi Adamu’s offences and Betta Edu’s handling of the women wing " the APC women wing presently lacked transparency and accountability and many actions negates democratic norms and always in flagrant abuse of party structure and violation of the Party's constitution which is detrimental to our party's unity and cohesion" They said. According to them, the party has a structure for the Women's wing, which flows from the Woman leader to the Deputy Woman leader and to the Zonal Woman leaders, which Beta has consistently violated since her emergence. The women demanded that Betta Edu should follow suit by submitting her resignation letter to give room for proper revamping of the Women's wing of the party, which they said is in a state of comatose now, courtesy of her undemocratic leadership style in violation of the party's constitutional provisions. They also said her deliberate attempt to sideline the National and Zonal Women Leaders from the visit to the President was based on her premeditated attempt to kill the structure of the party with her leadership style of divide and rule. The women had earlier in a letter to President Tinubu, passed a vote of no confidence on Betta Edu accusing her of replacing them with fake women officials and implored the President to redress the anomaly and grant them audience The demand for Edu's resignation has been met with mixed reactions from party members and supporters. Some have welcomed the move, while others have criticized it. However, the women leaders remain adamant that Edu must resign in order to restore integrity to the party. The party is yet to issue an official statement on the matter, but it is clear that the APC is in a state of disarray, and the ramifications of the crisis will be felt in the coming days. This is amazing. Princess has been a great woman. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pduvpekXag A lady has exposed Aishat Oyiza, the wife of Ibrahim Fari Shafiu, one of the persons arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) at Trademore Estate at Lugbe Abuja in October, for claiming that she has 3 kids and alleging the Kogi State government has hands in the arrest of her husband known to be a terrorist. Aishat claimed in a video that she has not been given access to see or talk to her husband and her brother since they were arrested in October. She lamented that since her husband’s arrest and detention, the DSS has not taken him to court or given him access to a lawyer. However, the lady exposed her narrating that Aishat who got married in 2021 would not have given birth to 3 children just a year after. The lady explained that she was part of Aishat wedding ceremony and that all her claims in the video are sponsored to tarnish the image of the government. See Video:

Bitter truth |
It looks like they are deceiving Nigerians with this NDLEA case |
With the obvious desperation being exhibited by the Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-rufai, in connection with the lingering internal crisis of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Nigerians have begun to ask very many questions bothering on his interest in the party and why it has just been him "here" and "there" even though he dismissed reports of him nursing an ambition to contest. Why is it always El-rufai? Many are asking. But the answer is not far-fetched. Recall that the Kaduna state governor was the first person to announce an agreement of zoning of the party's presidential ticket to the South even though he was not the only governor who had a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari where some issues in the party were said to be discussed. It left many wondering why the Kaduna State governor would ascribe so much power to himself to announce a zoning arrangement when he is not the chairman of the party and was never the spokesman of the party - a move that cast false impression of Mr. President as many Nigerians felt it was undemocratic for Buhari to force any candidate or arrangement on the party as claimed by El-rufai. With the abnormal rush by El-rufai to announce a zoning arrangement for the APC and follow it up with massive media outings, it became clearer that the man was only clearing the coast for his selfish ambition. Multiple sources confirmed his ambition to file for the position of Vice President. This seems to be the reason for his desperado in pushing the presidential slot to the South. El-rufai activities have deepened the crises in the APC as many party chieftains fear that if there is no urgent intervention to stop El-rufai and his allies, the party could suffer a great loss in the forthcoming election. This is in addition to the dent his statements are already doing to the personality of the president through the claims that the president ordered for the ousting of the Buni-led team. With the current turn of events, Nigerians have now understood the tricks and schemes of... Continue reading at source: https://thetrumpetng.com/apc-crisis-why-always-el-rufai/
