Hi Chocs,You have been more than a blessing to me.God bless you for the info.

All you said is well noted. Why I choose the communication is simply because i have part experience currently in communication in d bank where i work and and would love to exploit that part since I'm not grounded in it and it's more like am taking a study leave to return to my organisation after my program to continue with them.Hence the reason for my choice of program.

2ndly,the mutual fund has been save for over a yr and has been transacted upon but kept increasing except now we intend to use most of it for the school.besides It should still have about N4m left after paying schl fees and expenses for myself and baby.So dont you think this can be enough proof for them to survive on till my return even though my hubby salary is not much?

Please let me know what you think.

Many thanks Chocs

Hello Ijeoma12345,

You may be able to properly justify the reason why deciding to go with just your 2year old baby than moving everybody at a go. You've done well for yourself by been able to select a course that demonstrates progression but you have to be more realistic and specific about its benefits, future employment prospect and other areas of personal or career development.

Since you vouch for work experience up to a duration of 10yrs, its only right if you can demonstrate that you are well establishement both financially and economically. Its a good decision that you'all be a cosponsor of your study intent.

However, you may not find it that easy in trying to convince the VO on why at this moment after 10yrs of working in the banking sector now decided to switch to the communications sector irrespective of having a previous background. It may have been more easier if you had gone for business and management programs since you have a very strong work experience in this field and which is also related to your spouse's line of consulting business.

This way, proving the future benefits, intent for the study, and reliable employment availability to offset the cost of study may be well-explained in referencing a stronger home ties (given the current employment situation in your Nigeria) than the communications sector which you have a very weak background, exposure and experience.

In as much as paying tuition fees isn't a guarantee or prerequisite for a positive outcome, you may just consider paying the full amount since its available. Doing this may help you demonstrate your financial strength or freedom based on your available balance after tuition cost. Since you will be accompanied, it would then be easier to demonstrate available funds for LE for two. However, the implication for this is if the visa is refused and getting a refund may not come back in complete whole. If the risk is worth it, then this advise is for you. Otherwise, meet only the tuition payment (deposit + first semester) as stipulated by your DLI.

On your appointment date, you are only required to give your biometrics. Your travel itinerary arrangements are not mandated. You can invest that time and resources on other areas when packaging your application. The PCC is optional and doing upfront medicals is also optional. You may want to wait for medicals to be requested.

If you already have all the relevant documents at hand, then you can go ahead to submit your application but if otherwise then defer and set your focus at the next possible intake. Ensure you have evidence to show that you've secured, booked or applied for a daycare/nanny for your baby. You can start by enquiring from your school for assistance or guidance. Kindly write your study plan to how best it completely explains your situation and/or describes your application. However, avoid long and irrelevant stories or narrations. The investment certificate makes actually sense if its purpose is to serve as support for the main POF.

All the best
