University of Cambridge BG Nigeria Scholarships

In Collaboration with BG Nigeria, the Cambridge Trusts will offer up to four scholarships for students from Nigeria to study at the University of Cambridge for academic year 2007 / 08 for one-year postgraduate courses of study.

Eligibility

To be eligible:

should already hold ( or expect to hold by the time of taking up the award) a first-class university degree

must be an Nigerian national

must apply for an eligible course. a list of eligible courses is available at www.bg-group.com/cambridgescholarship

must not be, or be related to, a BG employee

Conditions
Successful applicants must undertake to return to their home country and take up permanent residence there after completing the course at Cambridge.

Value of Scholarships
The scholarships will normally cover up to:

the University Composition Fee at the overseas rate

approved College fees

a maintenance allowance sufficient for a single student

a return economy airfare by the cheapest available route



Application

Suitably qualified candidates must apply by sending a Graduate Admission and Scholarship Application Form to GB Nigeria, 11a Osborne Road, Ikoyi, Lagos on or before Friday, 20, April 2007
