According to ASUU-OAU Chairman, OAU teaching staff have started their break since 6th April and will end on 15th June, 2016. This is in contrast with the earlier release by the management to resume on April 24.

Now this is it--- if the 56days leave isn't granted then the holiday MIGHT be extended... I remember we (freshmen) were to resume may3 but was later extended to may17..... Thank God we're through with the session.......... So, let's keep our fingers crossed & await the management's verdict...
I'm tired of home already & I wanna resume part2 in time (may8 not sometime in July) & I know you're bored of home as well......

I spoke with some1 on campus now.According to what he said,the 56days leave is more certain.He said Omole has asked them to go for the leave during the mid-semester break just to compesate them but they rejected it then and said he shd postpone the break for them at special time not during the time for mid-semester break and it was considered to be a political agenda by Prof Omole then.
Now the ASUU are after the 56days leave and the leave will start counting when the new academic session is supposed to begin.

I think the solution now is that we shd start praying even if it is fasting for this not to be possible.

Y'all keep having conversations with someone on campus! When you gonna have conversation with omole himself nah .. pheeew!
