Car Talk › Re: Dangers Of Buying Vehicles From Cotonou by pautex: 3:55pm On Apr 18, 2013 |
babiifaace: HI all,i have been observing this trend for a long time and couldn't say anything becos i didn't know about the subject matter. Both i just came back from cotonou on friday. I went there bought a car and paid all custom duties and everything took 5days plus the public holiday on Tuesday.I must tell u, if u want a good car that u are sure of and ur budget is small, go to cotonou urself. The car i bought, these People called agents or dealers in NairaLand will tell u 1.3mill to get it to Lagos and so on,but i bought, paid all custom duties, hotel, feeding and transport for far less than 1million.So i final conclusion is cotonou cars are cheaper and better,i drove down to Abuja without even adding water to the car,no problem what so every. But i must say something i observed, our Nigerian guys,go there to buy accidented cars, damaged cars and repair them in cotonou before bring them to Nigeria without paying the required Nigerian custom duty. They buy cars that there speedometer has gone over 200,000 km and reduce them. So i suggest u go urself, pay, clear and followup. please, kindly inbox me ur details at---ubongj03@yahoo.com. u spoke my mind. |

kwajay1: See What Too Much Money Can Do To People
"Money the root of all evil" those that believe such statement may not be far from the truth. It is true that money gives confidence but most of the times if someone is not careful money will control him. imagine building a Gold plated toilet, golden shoe lace and a gold plated car. Will you call these acts evil??
1) would this toilet be used for discharging the regular waste or is the owner going to be discharging an expensive waste??
2) shoe lace made of pure gold
3) More than 40pounds of gold was used in the designing of this car. Pheeeww!!! TOO MUCH MONEY
I saw this stuff in a hotel in Dubai

shymexx: The topic itself is misleading... You lot have continued to sensationlise every damn thing in an already volatile country to cause more divide between the North and South for political reasons... However, when the "blowback" kicks off - I'm not sure non of you will be able to live to tell the story... What has seizing arm cache got to do with trying to shoot down the president's plane
Everyone with an IQ higher than 50 already knew BH hhas all these sophisticated weapons and the weapons were smuggled in from Libya...
I just feel sorry for you tribalists and political jobbers who can't reason beyond your noses... Keep dividing the country further and you'll get the civil war you've been praying for... Anyway, I'll be following the updates on nl(if they don't nuke the forum lol), or getting info. from BBC and CNN... God pass u. u're one of D sponsors of BH. THE BATTLE LINE IS DRAWNED FOOL.... |

Maxymilliano: More on Snake Wine...
Southeast Asia’s cuisine has a drink made with a twist: an entire venomous snake.
The consumption of snake wine was originally for medicinal purposes and many still drink it for those reasons. The beliefs of snakes’ healing abilities are derived from snake characteristics like agility, skin shedding, and speed. The flexibility of snakes is believed to be a good treatment for stiffness and arthritis. Their ability to shed their skin translates into a regenerative quality for skin ailments, such as acne or itching skin. Another healing property snakes are know for is their speed. Its speed represents how quickly the healing occurs and moves fast throughout the body. Some versions of this wine is made with the actual blood and bile of the snake. Snake wine is so gross and hardcore at the same time. TAFIAKWA Maxymilliano: More on Snake Wine...
