I didn't claim they are illiterate. I said the rates of poverty and illiteracy are highest in the region. Which region has the highest rates of poverty and illiteracy in Nigeria?
Fake statistics. The richest region in Nigeria is the NW, NE, followed by the SW and then the SE. With Sokoto being the cultural capital of Nigeria, and Kano being the commercial hub of Nigeria. Meanwhile cities like Katskina and Kaduna are growing FAST

It needs neither. The system should be expanded due to its success. Kano is the largest city in nigeria. After the next census, you will see. I think you guys need to start respecting whats going on in the North West and North East.

Oga, talk true. Wetin be your plan?
2. **Character Development**: The system is believed to instill humility, resilience, and a strong work ethic in students. The challenging conditions, including the practice of alms begging, are seen as preparations for the hardships of life.

One potential gain from the system. No wonder Obi supporters lack humility

Adaptability and Flexibility/ Early Life Skills Development: Almajirai often have to fend for themselves from a young age, learning how to manage basic needs and navigate the challenges of daily life. This early exposure to real-world situations develops practical skills and resilience.

I believe that this is a good benefit that South and Middle Belt should look at, and try to learn from.

Why aren’t Igbos supporting freedom for Gaza but demanding freedom for Biafra?
The Gaza people do not want freedom. They want Israel to no longer exist. Thats why they keep refusing the TWO STATE SOLUTION deals. They won't even go to the negotiation table.

I like most Igbos, SAUDI ARABIA and the UN support a two state solution. But the Gaza people want the entire region, are not willing to negotiate. My question is, how am I supposed to support someone who won't even go to the negotiation table.

PoliticsRe: Buhari: I Don’t Miss Being President by paxx: 5:27pm On Nov 19, 2023

By Seun Adeuyi

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has said that he does not miss his time as president.

Buhari made the disclosure in an interview with the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA).

Daily Trust reports that this is his first interview since leaving office on May 29, 2023.

The former president, when asked about what he misses from his time in office, responded saying: “Miss. I don’t think I miss much.”

The teaser of the interview was released by NTA on its X handle. The full version of the interview will be aired on Monday by 10:30 pm.

Buhari had previously said he would not miss his time in office because he was being “harassed”.

In December 2022, the former president said he was doing his best for Nigerians, but it was not good enough.

“I believe I’m trying my best, but still my best is not good enough. I wonder if I am going to miss much. I think I’m being harassed,” Buhari had said.

Between 2015 and 2021, Buhari spent 171 days on medical vacation in the United Kingdom.

2017 alone accounted for 152 days away.

“I think only my doctor can honestly answer this question,” he had said while speaking on the nature of his illness when he was president.

https://dailytrust.com/buhari-i-dont-miss-being-president/
in 2017 he was on vacation for 152 days. THERE ARE 365 DAYS IN A YEAR. Only the president of Nigeria can be on vacation for half of a year, and HIS BACKERS WILL DEFEND HIM.

That's why am telling you that Edos, Benin empire was the controller and protector of the south.

Igbos lived in small groups and hamlets, no empire, no army, no warriors. Edo people built the Benin city walls, Benin moat and defences. I have never heard of Igbo empire, history don't lie. We only know of Nri tribe, it was never an empire, and the Arochukwu clan, so where were your soldiers or glory at?

Igbos were scattered in bushes, no development, no civilization. Stop talking nonsense, you couldn't even defend yourself...there is no recorded wars between igbos and jihadists pre Nigeria times, no one ever heard of igbos in Midwest or southwest or south south, igbos were only active in southeast, and migrated into Ibibio, Efik areas, and formed the Arochukwu clan. Igbos had no strength or clout militarily pre Nigeria. Stop capping, we know history...you people only make mouth now because we live in civil organized times, with United nations, Amnesty etc, when tribes were ruling Africa you people were in the bushes hiding.

You people have never given Edos or South South nothing, all you do is to beg and form parasite everywhere...strategic depth when you attacked Benin even when your enemy was federal government forces. Snakes.
keep fighting igbos you idiot

Does Onitsha have a marketing issue? and if so what can we do. Notice how New York State is named after the city, Enugu is named after its city, and Lagos is named after its city. Should Onitsha and Anambra do a name change?

I even thought you are educated
Read what he wrote
This Time around slowly, after then open any satellite map, or maybe Google map
view onistha,
You will realized how the urban areas spreads from onistha and has almost glued owerri, same goes to awka axis!
If ikorodu, Agbara (in ogun state) and ikeja can be counted as Lagos metro
Then Nnewi, awka and co can be counted as onistha metro
The onistha metro itself is bigger than that of Lagos by landmass, buh smaller by population
(Travel and see! Nigerians has built up almost everywhere around that axis from onistha to down to owerri)!
The thing is according to the definition of a metro, the entire area from Asaba to Aba is one metropolitan area. Probably the densest part of Africa.

XerXers:
You continue to sound like and idiot. You don't know what urban metropolitan area is all about. For your mind it's Ok for Ikorodu to be Lagos but you don't know that same way Nnewi is Onitsha in this context? If Ikeja is Lagos urban metro don't you know that Awka is also part of Onitsha urban metro? If parts of Ogun is counted for Lagos metro don't you know that parts of Delta and Imo also counts for Onitsha?
They ranked urban areas you are talking about cities, Don't you know the difference?
Do you think Lagos is one city? Onitsha city can be compared to Ikoyi not Lagos as a whole which is a combination of many cities
See Google maps for the two metropolitan areas
This is actually a really great point. Why is it that when you are in Lagos, you consider Ikeja, Ikorodu and the island as one city. but for some reason people dont understand that nnewi is also apart of onitsha metro?

I think it's because all of them are in one single state called Lagos. If Anambra was named Onitsha, it would be easier to people to understand.
PoliticsRe: Is Onitsha The Second Largest Metropolitan In Nigeria? by paxx(op): 10:43pm On Nov 15, 2023

Exactly. But the Onitsha urban is larger in landmass than Lagos. It stretches from Asaba to Awka to Owerri
please be careful.... or they will get angry that you are saying that Onitsha metro is larger than Lagos metro in landmass. Just leave it alone :/

What I know for sure is Onitsha is the second largest metro in Nigeria, and We need to stop with these inaccurate censuses.

From Google maps
Onitsha Metro has to include Asaba. I mean it's literally right next to each other. I would say it's from Asaba to Owerri.

Similar to how Lagos metro which is the largest in Nigeria includes Agbara, Ikeja and the island.

Again let me ask you, have you been to the two cities?
Yes man I've been to both.. Bro I'm done arguing with you. Multiple independent organizations have come out and said Onitsha is the second largest metro. Why would a French, Asian or International organization lie?

I think for the next census we should let the UN conduct the census because obviously we cant be trusted to do it ourselves.

We need a third party to conduct the census.

Yes you need external research to confirm whats in your backyard, because when something is in our backyard we tend to be biased. This is why people try to have independent researchers, investigators or judges.

The animosity has been on since decades but my people have been too happy-go-lucky to notice. It gas nothing to do with Tinubu. To believe me just look back to 2009; the kinds of premeditated attacks on the Omoluabi ideology coming from people who have no history of their own which they can be proud of.

These people who are not known until recent decades for any great accomplishments have lied so much about our history. They recruit people greater than them like the Edo to attack Omoluabi land. They are willing to partner any people to mitigate the might of Oduduwa because they don't have any of their own hence feel belittled by our history, culture, language, food, music, drama, and everything that is fast becoming the face of Africa itself as a continent.
