Another Ikwerre governor in Rivers? Never. That can never happen in Rivers State. The N30,000 boys from the Southwest will come and write rubbish in defense of their paymaster, yet most of them have never even set foot in Rivers State.

Last I checked, it's actually free of charge in all government and some private hospitals.
If she was on a good contraceptive, there would have been no need risking her life and insulting the man by going for Abortion.
Additionally, why remain in the marriage to the point of conceiving?!!

Business › Re: Share Your Betting Experiences, Which Bookmaker Is Your Favorite? by pcagbaji(m): 7:45pm On Jan 22 |
notobiafrababe: Let’s be honest with ourselves for once. Betting is not hustle. It is not strategy. It is not intelligence. It is a slow, well-packaged robbery of hope, discipline, and future—especially for young people who should be building skills, not feeding algorithms. I’ve watched brilliant young men reduce their lives to odds, tickets, and last-minute goals. Dreams that once had structure are now hanging on “just one correct score.” Rent money is now “sure odds.” School fees are now “banker games.” And when it fails—as it almost always does—the silence that follows is heavy with shame, anger, and regret. Betting doesn’t just take money. It trains impatience. It kills the value of effort. It rewires the brain to expect reward without work. That is the real danger. You don’t wake up one day and decide to be addicted. It starts small. ₦500. ₦1,000. Then losses come, and instead of stopping, you chase them. Before long, you’re no longer betting to win—you’re betting to feel something, to escape reality, to numb frustration. And let’s stop lying to ourselves: If betting truly made people rich, betting companies would be broke. But look around—who is really winning? Young people are wasting years, energy, and mental health on a system designed for them to lose. The odds are not in your favour. They never were. The house always wins, and it wins consistently—because desperation is predictable. What hurts the most is seeing potential rot. Young men who could learn trades. Young women who could build businesses. Talented youths who could master skills. All of that traded for screenshots of “wins” that never last. Life does not reward shortcuts. It rewards consistency, patience, and skill. There is dignity in work. There is honour in process. There is peace in knowing your progress is real. If you are young and betting: stop. Not tomorrow. Not after the next ticket. Stop now. Lose the fantasy before it costs you years you can never recover. No game will save you. No odds will fix your life. But discipline, learning, and time will. Choose growth over gambling. Choose reality over illusion. Choose a future you don’t have to hide from. For those trying to quit betting You should be reading this I pray it helps |

franchasng: Very honest, brave and simple President. Does not hide anything, he tells you as it is.
My kind of person. We don't hide our feelings to make anybody happy. So long as we are doing the right thing, anybody that wants to be unhappy is free to be.
Donald Trump is doing the right thing. Venezuelan people will enjoy and benefit more partnering with US and allowing US manage their resources for the time being until a credible government is established than leaving it in the hands of drug barons who partner with wicked Chinese.
Same way I wished US government will come and manage our resources and even security, Nigeria will become better than what it is today under soulless Nigerian politicians wrecking Nigeria and plundering our common resources without any visible progress for decades now.
Before you quote me, ask those that have worked with Chinese companies or employers how they were treated, and ask those that have worked with US company how they were treated.
Ever since China bought Adax Petroleum in Nigeria, go and check the welfare of the staffs. Compare it with US owned Chevron or Mobil oil staff welfare and then you will understand that Venezuelan crude oil is better in the hands of America than in the hands of Venezuelan drug cartels working with stingy/racist Chinese and racist Russians.
I speak as someone who has worked with US owned company outside the United States .
Thank you all for your attention to this matter Well said |

Politics › The Day Nigeria Was Told It Cannot Have Two Militaries. A Decision Made In Fear by pcagbaji(op): 4:41pm On Nov 30, 2025 |
THE DAY NIGERIA WAS TOLD IT CANNOT HAVE TWO MILITARIES.
A Decision Made in Fear… A Nation Still Paying the Price in Blood.
There was a time, not too long ago, when the Police Mobile Force stood like a rock at the center of Nigeria’s internal security. Fearless. Disciplined. Reliable. They were the shock troops of national order the first responders, the last line, the unit every criminal feared before the Army ever needed to step in.
But in the shadowy years of military rule, strength outside the barracks was not welcomed it was **perceived as competition**.
And so came the voice of a military Head of State, a voice that shaped history without ever needing to be recorded:
“Nigeria cannot have two militaries.''
With that one declaration, a silent war began not against crime, not against external enemies, but against the Police Mobile Force itself. Not because the PMF failed the nation, but because it grew too strong for the comfort of those who wanted absolute control.
Their funding was drained. Their training was weakened. Their influence was clipped. And their institutional pride was deliberately shattered.
The police the real guardians of civilian life were reduced to spectators in their own country, while the military was forced to carry a burden that was never theirs.
And from that decision… a storm was born. The Consequences That Still Haunt Us Today.
The deliberate weakening of the Police Mobile Force created a vacuum so wide, so deep, and so fatal that Nigeria has been sinking into it ever since.
Because when you break the backbone of internal security:
Insurgency finds a breeding ground Banditry spreads like wildfire. Kidnapping becomes a profession. Criminals gain confidence. Communities become helpless.
And today, Nigeria fights for survival in a security landscape shaped by that one decision a decision rooted not in national interest, but in political insecurity.
The truth is painful, but it must be told: Nigeria did not become the headquarters of insurgency and banditry overnight. Nigeria became vulnerable the moment its police force was intentionally crippled.
The military was never meant to police civilians. The police were never meant to be weak. But the balance was destroyed, and the nation has been paying with tears, blood, and fear ever since. The Lesson History Is Screaming at Us.
No country survives when one institution rises only by weakening another. No nation thrives when its police are starved of strength. No democracy breathes when fear dictates security policy.
A ruler once thought that empowering the police meant empowering a rival. But in reality, he ended up empowering something far worse: chaos. If Nigeria is ever to rise again if our roads are to be safe, if our villages are to sleep in peace, if our children are to grow without fear then the nation must rebuild what was broken:
A strong, well-equipped, well-funded, well-respected Police Force. Because the day they weakened the Police Mobile Force… is the day insecurity found a home in Nigeria.
And that, history will never forgive. |
