I knew the gender before opening the thread. It is always women. It shows they do not see the seriousness associated with kidnaps until the situation happens to a family member. Another thing they do is claim they were kidnapped only for the family to later find out they spent the time in a boyfriend’s place. In university times, many of the “rape” cases we heard about were females who experienced buyer’s remorse after testing out a new suitor.
