Mother Went Shopping . . . With A DEAD BABY IN HER PURSE 21-year-old Tiona Rodriguez was on trial for doing the UNTHINKABLE – smothered her newborn baby and then carrying the tot’s body in her purse. According to prosecutors Tiona, who was just 17 at the time of the crime, gave birth in a pal’s bathroom in New York.
